The Fireplace Guy came to my house to fix my gas fireplace on 4/29. He charged me $175.00 for parts. He left the fireplace in pieces and said he would return when he had the part. The charge went through on my card the following day 4/30. I never heard from him again, I called several times but he would not return my voice messages. I thought he had gone out of business, moved out-of-state or passed as it was during the hight of the pandemic. However, today 8/18/2022 my wife saw a truck on Northern Lights Blvd. with his name plastered all over it, she managed to asked him why he never came back at a red light. He stated, it wasn't him. She gave him the address and he denied ever being in my home. Upon arriving home we confirmed that the charge 4/30 was in fact from The Fireplace Guy. This is when it became clear to me that he took my money with no intention of returning.
