I not only recommend Urs for his 42 years of experience, his professionalism, his knowledge, his professional licensure and affiliations, but also his desire to do the best work possible for his customers. We needed our chimney crown seal repaired and some garage block wall joints ground out and re-tuckpointed. He responded promptly to my calls for estimates and scheduled and completed the work as promised, We also very much appreciated the walk-through and clean-up at the project completion. Urs- thank you for another masonry job well done and thank you for your military service to our country !

Mr. Smith gave me an estimate on tuck-pointing my front stoop and scheduled the work for the first day of the next week. He and his helper, John, arrived promptly and worked without a break until the job was completed. My plantings were covered and protected, and everything was cleaned up. Mr. Smith gave me several recommendations regarding an underlying problem with the stoop, but then just went ahead and fixed it (at no extra charge). He had repaired, capped, and sealed my two chimneys in 2014, and they are still as good as new. This company is certainly my choice for chimney repair and tuck-pointing.

A.A.S. Service was very prompt in returning my call and within the day which was on a weekend. Both the technician and his partner were very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The technician was very thorough and provided documented information about what type of service was needed for our chimney to be safe and also to get the maximum life and benefit from it. He explained everything in an easy understandable manner. He was extremely polite, courteous, and cleaned up everything. They were right on time and gave a 30-minute notice before they arrived. The technician showed pride in the finished product as did I. I would recommend A.A.S. Service to anyone.

A.A.S. Service - I highly recommend this company for any of your repairs to brick work especially the chimneys. Started out that we needed him to fix the walls on each side of our front steps. The repair job was so nice and professional we decided to have him go up and check the chimney. Once again, the job was perfect and we were very pleased. We had one more project in mind that we were going to wait till next year but decided to have everything done at once. So he went out and checked our brick patio and fixed the areas that needed work. Our projects are complete and professionally done. To A.A.S. Service, a big thank you!

Urs and his assistant John came out today to tuck point, seal, and add a new crown to our 2-story tall chimney. They started work at 7 AM and got everything completed by mid afternoon. They took care to make sure everything was done correctly and that everything got cleaned up. I felt confident with Urs; he has been in the business of chimney repair for 40+ years. He thoroughly explained what he planned to do; he communicated well with me in preparation for the job to begin. He is personable, down-to-earth, and knowledgeable about his profession. I recommend A.A.S. to others; I myself would use Urs again in the future.

Thankfully there are still some honest, specialized contractors out in our world. Urs, took pictures of our problem at the top of our chimney, after having two different heating companies come out for a leak. He diagnosed the problem immediately, luckily none of us had been seriously sick from a backflow of carbon monoxide! We do have detectors, but we did trust the heating companies knew what they were doing. Found out the whole top was crushed in, therefore no airflow! He replaced the unit on top and we will still have to deal with a heating company to do more. He is a no nonsense, get to business guy and he knows his stuff. Thanks for a great job Urs!

Just had my chimney crown and exterior repaired and sealed. The owner (John) had inspected the chimney a few weeks ago and gave me an estimate for the work. I thought the price estimate was fair for the work to be done so we went ahead to have the job done. He and his helper arrived promptly on the scheduled day and time and quickly & professionally completed the services. Their final cleanup was perfect and now we will not have to be concerned about the chimney for many years to come. As a side note, while doing the work John noticed evidence of a few bats living under the house facia and gave us a 'heads up' on that. I would recommend AAS Service to everyone.

A.A.S. Service and their team serviced 2 chimneys on a 3 story Century Home, which were difficult to reach. The service included grinding, tuck pointing, installing a cap, flashing, and waterproofing. They were able to service the chimneys using an articulated bucket, ensuring that the brand new roof was not affected. Ryan worked efficiently, kept his work area clean and organized, and displayed a high level of professionalism. Additionally, Ryan successfully flashed a vent pipe that was located too near the chimney. A.A.S. Service utilizes advanced mortar and polymers in their flashing products. Urs demonstrated exceptional skill by maneuvering the lift through a narrow space, even fitting through my fenced area. He even took the time to show me how to tuck point other small areas of my house. Thank you both for providing a great experience!

A.A.S. Service came out, despite the snow, to inspect, clean, and repair my fireplace. Urs, the technician, is very direct and honest and highly skilled. He showed up right on time and got to work. Right away he identified some issues and made sure I understood what causes them, what my options were, and what he could do. He swept, repaired a lot of tuckpointing, applied a creosote treatment, and advised me of a crack in the crown of the chimney, bowed damper, and missing ash door. He even had a replacement ash door with him. Before I knew it, the work was finished and I had learned quite a few things from him on how to safely use and maintain my firebox. Urs is truly a man of his trade and I would recommend him to anyone.

Because our fireplace had not been used in the 12 years that we lived here, now I needed it inspected because I plan to sell the house since the death of my husband. Marlon from A.A.A. Services, who was on time. He inspected it and showed me the damaged items. He cleared and cleaned it out. He told me what he was going to do, how much it would cost and how long it would take (45 minutes) to install a new unit. And that's how long it took to have my beautiful new fireplace up and burning! I cried tears of joy! , and have had it lit almost every evening since I've gotten back in town. He took time to explain things to me and even took time to let me light it before he left so that I was comfortable. He also left written instructions. I recommend A.A.A Services. Thank you Marlon!

Had A.A.S. Service come out to do a chimney cleaning and inspection. Our firebox needed repaired. We also decided to order new fireplace doors from Urs. He was told the doors would take 6 wks. to a couple of months to come in. In the meantime, Urs was going to repair the firebox so we could use the fireplace while waiting for the new doors. Much to our surprise, we got a phone call one week from our initial appointment and Urs had our new doors and wanted to come out within an hour to repair the firebox and install our new doors. We were very pleased with the work that was done and the timely and courteous manner in which the work was done. Love the new doors and would highly recommend using A.A.S. Service to anyone. Much pride taken in the work that was done. Thank you, Urs, for a job well done.

I am so grateful to A.A.S. Service coming out and repairing my chimney. He literally is a life saver. He was recommended by a neighbor and I can not be more happy with the results. A.A.S. Service was very helpful, knowledgeable, and personable to work with. He explained exactly what was wrong and what was needed to fix the problem at a reasonable price . During the repair he took the time to show me what he was repairing and answer my questions through every step of the way. I was amazed at exactly how in disrepair my chimney was, and leaned that my home did have dangerous levels of carbon monoxide inside that I had no clue was happening. I have since been telling all my family and friends to get their chimneys inspected without delay and will very eagerly recommend his company to anyone. It could save their life like it did ours.

I have had A.A.S. Service out twice now to service my firebox. The first time they cleaned the box as well as replace the back panel. I was very happy with the care they took to make sure the firebox and chimney were safe for use. Today I had A.A.S. Service out again for a cleaning and to replace the bottom panel and starter. I was afraid we would run into issues as the starter looked like it was ready to fall apart (which it did) and I wasn't sure the bottom panel would come out. Well, within two hours time the panel and starter were replaced and the creosote treatment was applied. The firebox was repaired and safe for many more fires to come. Again, the care taken to make sure everything was done right so we could enjoy fires safely was incredible. If this isn't enough reason to invite A.A.S. Service into your home, the price for all this was unbelievably inexpensive. If you are looking for someone to service your fireplace or firebox, look no more, A.A.S. Service will do everything you need and more.

There is not enough praise that I could give the owner and operator, Urs, ( and his assistant John), from A.A.S. Service,Inc. ! My first experience was in November . They showed up exactly on the agreed upon time (with even an I'm on my way phone call!). Urs was professional from the start. My chimney hadn't been inspected for over 20 years so I knew that there could potentially be some problems. I didn't tell Urs this, I unfortunately didn't have to. After he did a full chimney inspection he showed me and explained to me, with detailed pictures that he took, what his findings were. We discussed my options and what each option would cost. I decided to go with a gas fireplace (I was leaning that way when I made my appointment). He was able to install it that day- and I love it! Unfortunately I had to call Urs on December 27 due to some damage some roofers had done. Urs came out the very next day to see what had been done and to see if he was going to be able to repair it or if a whole new unit was going to be needed. Urs, fortunately was able to fix the damage that had been done! He was also kind enough to point out other damages and cost cutting the roofing (and gutter) company had done. Lied about roof inspection saying his employees were on the roof. Only one person was here. Looked up the bottom of the fireplace and said there were multiple fires? Told us that it would be [insert appropriate amount] dollars to put in a top damper. When calling him back all he did was swear and call me an old man. His reasoning for not cleaning was liability, we told him we don't use the fireplace and just want it cleaned.
