Had them out for a standard fireplace cleaning.. first off, drivers van leaked oil all over my driveway.. techs were fine.. my problem was when I got home to read what needs to be done and they recommended $1800 of repairs! I just had the chimney cleaned 2 years ago and was told none of this.. so either they are the best company on earth or like most in the chimney cleaning business, shady as hell

The technicians from Superior Chimney arrived promptly, and worked quickly to identify problems with my chimney. They supported their report with pictures. Ultimately I was not able to use their services because the scope of the work was beyond what they could provide. There was no charge for the service call and pictures. I would recommend the company, and plan to use them to sweep after the repairs are done.

They could schedule me within two weeks for chimney cap installation, within one week for chimney crown installation, and two weeks for removal of wood mould from chimney crown. Pretty reliable service. They might improve on communicating with city services when road repair projects are performed at the location. But except that, good quality service what they are appointed to do. Time will test the installations :)

I was able to schedule an appointment easily, the crew gave me appropriate notification of their intended arrival, and arrived promptly to do the inspection. After thoroughly examining chimney, gave me a written explanation of the work needed and answered all questions to my satisfaction. All aspects of this encounter were professional and courteous. I have scheduled the work to be done and feel very comfortable working with this company.

I was very impressed with Superior Chimney Service. 1.They called to verify the appointment the day before. 2. Called the day of appointment with an estimated arrival time 3. They were very polite,answered all our questions and provided us with additional information.Everything was cleaned up. No mess! Patrick was very knowledgeable and explained everything. Daniel was a neat worker, making sure my home did not get dirty from the cleaning.

Jake the inspector was professional, courteous and well informed about my chimney. Additionally he offered good answers to my questions about chimney care and fire safety. When l asked about certain type of chimney service he said it wasn?t needed for my chimney type. With that you can add trustworthy to my comments. Daniel the installer was equally professional and courteous. He also seemed well informed. He said he is working to move up the career ladder.

From the initial phone call scheduling the inspection, to the quote of the repair, to the work...everyone I dealt with at Superior was pleasant and professional. When the mason arrived, he suggested a different brick than the one we originally chose to be a better color match. We trusted his judgement and he went and exchanged our original choice for the one he had in mind. It was indeed a much better match as he suggested. I appreciated a craftsman who takes pride in his work. Highly recommended.

We have hired Superior Chimney two times. First February was for chimney cleaning which they did an excellent job. On a follow up service they located a worn seal on the top of chimney. Replaced quickly.We hired Superior July a 2nd time as they also do brick masonary. They did a fantastic job of replacing brick and estimate cost never changed. Very professional, always on time and exceptional follow up.I highly recommend Superior Chimney and will continue to use their services in the future.

This was one of the best home repairs we've ever had! The Project Manager was really easy to work with and the team that installed the chase cover and did the repairs was quick and professional. I ask lots of questions and they were ready with answers. I also got the feeling that they truly care about the job and want each customer to be really happy with their repairs. That is what I call true pride in work! I would recommend Superior Chimney to anyone, and if we have other chimney jobs in the future, I will definitely use them again.

Review for Superior Chimney: John, the technician, gave his fair estimates in the installation and parts of the cap with a separate estimate for sweeps and inspection. He is pretty much straight forward, thanks to him, in explanations and what is supposed to be done in priority with our fireplace chimney. I had the cap installed, although it's more expensive, $267 after 15% discount, compared to $210 with other Chimney Services Companies. I wish they should have matched the cost and also they should have given the cost for installation and parts for cap separately.

Very dishonest and misleading sales person. Job that he promised when he did estimate was not on the contract, so you better read every single word and make sure that they write what they tell you. I was told that they will rebuild at least twice as much layers than they did. Also he told me that in addition to price there will be additional charge for ?tax on material?. That turned out into $249.97? Didn?t know that 6-7 layer of bricks cost that much?Another point. They did estimate 6/10 with job scheduled to be done 10/17, I sign only because the sales person (Brad O.) told me ?it?s one day job and we will 99% of the time squiz in in a few weeks?. Don?t fall for it. Guys worked hard, but didn?t finish before dark, and still wanted all money paid even though they had to come back and finish. Very disappointed would not recommend.

We use our fireplace quite a bit, and it was due for a cleaning. We called Superior Chimney Services, and were given a detailed explanation of what they do in terms of inspection and cleaning. Upon arrival, the two technicians showed me the conditions of the firebox and chimney that should be addressed from a safety and health issue. Seeing the evidence, I agreed with the assessment and proceeded with additional work. After rooftop inspection and back up photographs, I was appraised of chimney conditions that should be addressed. The fact is, the gentlemen graphically showed me what was wrong, explained the alternatives in very understandable language, and provided a quote for future service. The technicians showed care and concern for my fireplace/chimney and by inference, my family?s safety. This is a trait more service providers should adopt. I am very happy with Superior Chimney Services.

We have been experiencing an issue with leaking from the heating vent in our attic and dripping all the way down into our basement. I had a heating company come by to check it out. They were unable to figure out what the problem was. Called a roofing company, they came out and sealed around the pipe on the outside. We thought this would take care of our problem. That was not to be. Our heating and air conditioning company recommend Superior Chimney. Called the company and the next morning John came out at first he was a little puzzled and before you know it, we hear "I think I know what the problem is." Sure enough he did. The Chimney had a huge nest which prevented the smoke from the furnace to come out! Left unattended this could have been a very dangerous situation for us. For a young man to be able to figure this out within half an hour the issue was amazing. Thank you John and Superior Chimney! You get 5 stars.

I feel compelled to share my experience and give them a one-star rating, along with two thumbs down. I strongly advise against choosing Superior Chimney Corp for your chimney needs.

This company claims to be superior, but their prices are sky-high and completely unreasonable. They engage in overpricing and price fixing, surpassing their competitors in price gouging. Their inflated rates are consistent and do not reflect the quality of work or services provided. Additionally, their advertisements and coupons are unreliable and misleading.

My personal encounter with Superior Chimney Services was a complete disaster. Not only did they fail to resolve an issue, but they also damaged an African artifact that I own. They carelessly placed it on a table in my home without informing me or seeking my permission. I discovered the damage after the two repairmen left my residence on 09-21-22. Despite reporting the incident to the owner, Mr. [Owner's Name], my concerns fell on deaf ears. He arrogantly dismissed my complaint, acting as both judge and jury, and enforcing his own biased rules and laws. It is evident that Superior Chimney Services prioritizes their employees' interests over those of their clients.

In conclusion, I strongly discourage anyone from using Superior Chimney Services Corporation. Their exorbitant prices, lack of accountability, and disregard for customer satisfaction make them an unreliable and untrustworthy choice.
