Big Lots Same day delivery

Are orders that I placed within a 24hr period (8/23 & 8/24) which were cancelled due to no inventory. This is actually the third consecutive time orders placed with this company has been cancelled. What's worse is the company not updating their software to know how inventory they have as a way to minimize customer dissatisfaction. Not sure if this is only happening to me but I am beyond frustrated and disappointed. All I wanted were aprima towels. Moreover, the company doesn't give a courtesy discount for the inconvenience they put their customer through. I'm really angry about this.

Big Lots Covid-19

Wife gets exposed by co-worker that is positively exposed to COVID-19!

Instead of doing something about it, DM chews everyone's [censored]! DM who is actually working from home has no skin in the game! DM gets upset when employees follow written instructions and then gets mad because they followed the written instructions!

Except everyone involved just continues working like nothing happened!

Seems to me that exposing others is not really a issue for big lots as long as they are making money!
Never mind that you are exposing every family member at home, not to mention other co-workers and customers!

As long as the stock goes up, who cares! Its not what you say, it's what you do and right now damage control is priority!

Big Lots Service

I was inquiring to an associate yesterday about if furniture was in stock and she kept cutting me off each time saying no that stuff was not in stock. Regretfully I had to go on there again today and had to ask the same employee about a table and she said she didn't know and kept counting her money leaving me hanging. So another employee walked by and asked if I needed help and I said yes, I asked this other employee about this table and she's ignoring me. I'd like to know if it's in stock. So she got all offended and said I'll go and check after I put away this folder if that's on with me.
I have never in my life been treated like such trash in my life. I guess counting big lots money is more important that customer service.

Well the cashier name is Kelly. Well she very disrespectful. Well when people are buying cleaning supplies. Kelly tell them that they do not know how to clean their houses. Big Lots dining room 5-piece set

After we put the legs on the dining table, we noticed one of the table corners at the top is crushed/cracked and unsightly. It came out of the box this way. We're not asking for an entirely new set or even a new table (probably not possible), but if you would be kind enough to send someone to repair it or refund a part of the money we paid, we would greatly appreciate it. There are two managers that are racist there and accused my boyfriend of stealing as soon as he entered the store... I have been with my boyfriend for five years and I know he wouldn't EVER! do that, this is ridiculous! The store number is 4224 and I hope they get fired! They are both General managers I think. Big Lots table warranty

I purchased a table from biglots with warranty for any damage done to the surface of the table, one year later glue got on the table and was not able to be removed fulled and it peeled a little bit of the wood fabrication off the table.

I reported it to the claims department and after a month or two of ongoing trouble shooting and them sending out someone to take a picture a few days later i called in and they told me it cant be covered because the table was abused.

The table was in great condition besides the glue that got on the table and they want to tell me its not covered whats the point in buying a warranty if it cant be covered from accidental damage! its a scam dont go to big lots and dont buy into there warranty they just want to collect your money.

Big Lots furniture

Sofa may be just about 3 years and it started breaking down at least 2.5 years ago. Leather like sofa. First the spring dropped and seat sunk in, as time went by it started peeling the plastic later away from material. This sofa should have lasted longer than 3 years. I wrote in one time to complain and they asked if I had my receipt, in which I didn't. I am so disgusted every time I go in my den which we use lots of time but did not know we were distroying the sofa by using it on a normal bases. included are pictures. I had second thoughts when I purchased it, but tried any way, and now I have a soda that looks like I had it 25 years. No kids no pets and no one smokes, just poor çquality materials.

Big Lots store manager and customer service

On October 7, 2019 @ 645 pm my husband was in the big lots in sylmar, ca. Had a altercation with one of the workers because he wanted to see an item before he purchased it, which the employee refused to give him his name. The store manager Clint was called and my husband was trying to ask for the employees name, he refused. The manager was so rude. My husband was trying to tell him what happened and the manager started yelling and using volgure language towards him and told him get out of his store. Called security all because my husband was asking for the employees name to place a complaint on him. Also another employee named Amanda was just as rude. How dare my husband get kicked out for asking for a employees name! This big lots has the worst respect for customers and has NO customer service skills. Not only was my husband humiliated in front of the other shoppers and employees you have also lost us as customers.

Big Lots service

So I walk into Big Lots with a big purse full of my own personal belongings and I'm approached by an employee/manager who says to me leave your big bags at the front so I'm like OK I go to the front to leave my bag but then I'm like I'm not leaving my personal belongings up here not being watched so I dont then here comes that same employee/manager and says to me I'm not gone tell you again leave your bag in the front. I got so upset cause first of all I ain't your child and that's not a way your supposed to talk to customers. I wanted to slap her face but instead I put everything I was going to purchase back and walked outside to calm down as I'm calming down here comes your employee/manager coming to where I was standing to smoke a cigarette now I know she knew I was upset and she just decides to add gas to the fire by trying to intimidate me but I'm a child of God and didn't bite into her foolishness. Y'all need to teach your employees better manners before I forget I'm a child of God and whoop that [censored] [censored]. So now I dont shop at that Big Lots anymore

Big Lots online orders

This is not with one specific location but for the business as a whole. I was online trying to purchase my son a bedroom set for his birthday. My son lives over 2 hours away from me. I figured I'd take advantage of the Labor Day sale that was advertised. Upon trying to check out, I find you are not able to use your Big Lots credit card online. While I find that absolutely ridiculous, I decide to call his local Big Lots to find a resolution. After discussing with the manager the issue, the only resolution was going to be to drive out there over 2 hours away to purchase what I wanted. The manager agreed it was an inconvenience and stated she would give me a discount due to all of this. While it was during the week, it had to wait until the weekend as I could not just go on a moments notice.
So the weekend came, and I thought I'd just drop into my local Big Lots to see if maybe I could just order what I want and have it sent to him. Again was told no. So Sunday I decide I have no option but to travel over 2 hours for this to happen. When I arrived, I explained what I wanted and the person helping me was aware of me calling prior. I then explained how I'd traveled just to do this one transaction. Oh yeah, and I received absolutely no discount.
What surprises me, there is a current coupon out that I was never offered and I didn't even see it until after I'd gotten home. Since this was now Sunday, the sales that were out prior were no longer out and I now spent over $400 more than I would've had to before. I had sent an email to the corporate office and still have yet to receive a response. I have also written a message on Facebook and the response was that "you aren't able to use your card online". I mean that's obvious or I would've never sent you a message. And their answer to the coupon was that I needed to have it with me and if I returned to the store I could get a credit. Ridiculous. All the time and gas money I spent didn't matter to them.
Most ridiculous company I have ever been in contact with and will never return.
