I purchased above referenced Belkin WiFi Skype phone that is - now - no longer supported due to Belkin withdrawing its SKYPE API [application programming interface]. The phone is now totally un-usable! Belkin left its customers high and dry! The phone was purchased from Fry's Electronics which is no longer in business. Receipt is attached.
Claimed loss: $159.99
Desired outcome: 1) Refund of purchase price2) Or ... replacement of -now- non-usable Skype/Wi-fi phone with a Belkin non-Skype wi-fi phone.

- Was in correspondence with Belkin Customer Care from 26 April 2025 to 12 May 2025. They could not provide resolution.
- Place of purchase: Fry's Electronics. Receipt attached. This business has closed all their stores/no longer in business ... so unable to return for replacement.
- Belkin Retractible Hi-Speed USB 2.0 no longer functions properly. After contacting Belkin Customer Care, I was informed that Belkin no longer carries this product.
- I emphasized with Belkin that this was not a warranty issue and that the product had a lifetime guarantee.
- Since Belkin's original product packaging stated a lifetime warranty and free replacement, I then asked if a credit voucher or gift card could be considered ... since Belkin no longer makes product or provides free replacement or substitute.
- It would appear to make matters just & right [since Belkin abandoned the product and its customers] ... that Belkin would find it only fair to reimburse the paltry amount of $7.97/purchase price. Or, at least provide a credit voucher or gift card for that amount.
