The secretary was rude, arguing with me about payment and insurance information. I had to call my ins. Company prior to my son's visit and explain the billing process to her...When I did, she quickly pointed out that she is JUST the secretary and not the billing person. She was supposed to get the billing person, but she never came. Went into the visit 30min after appt. time with a stack full of extra paperwork to do. Within 5 minutes, the psycologist left for an emergency call...Came back to get copies of paperwork, then left again...Asked a couple of questions, then walked us out..She will call to complete assessment...WHAT... You did nothing for my child...As we were leaving the secretary quickly stopped us again about billing, arguing with me like I was an idiot. My disabled son, there for mental health issues, was getting very anxious from her attitude toward me, his mother. He banged on the window a couple of times. The secretary called for the office manager to come out. She and the secretary were confrontational to me, again, scaring my small son, causing him to have a behavior and bang on the window and say a bad word...After this, the office manager procedded to come from behind the desk, chasing out and yelling at my son several times to get out...This is a pediatric mental health clinic! The office manager and PhD actually procedded to follow us out to the car, scaring my son even more and giving me an anxiety attack.. How dare you do this to a child who is disabled. What is wrong with you? We were there for help, instead we got harrassed to say the least. If anyone can help me, please let me know... Melissa
