Dynasplint Systems Supination and flexion splints for arm

My daughter was told she needed these splints due to breaking her elbow in July of 2021. She received two splints supposed to be 77.00 and 38.27/ month. Now I got a bill for 386.00 on my credit card for one of the splints and was charged twice in one month for the other. No satisfaction from the company, AND my daughter's e! bow now has a screw working it's way back out so pretty sure the splints are at fault. Going to consult a personal injury lawyer, my daughter is ten years old and now needs another surgery and will probably have a crippled arm for the rest of her life!

Desired outcome: Money back, will probably still consult a lawyer. These splints made her worse.

Dynasplint Systems Insurance coverage scam

If anyone every has an injury or medical condition that required a specialized medical splint, and your doctor recommend Dynasplint, demand another option and avoid Dynasplint like the plague. If you have insurance, this company will screw you. They are con artists who will assure you that your insurance will cover the majority of the monthly rental cost while pressuring you to sign their consent form. The fact is, your insurance will likely cover barely any of the cost, or deny the claim outright. Then YOU will be responsible for paying everything out of your own pocket.

Dynasplint Systems Misleading sale's information.

I was clearly told at the time I received these Dynasplints, than my Medicare would be billed for the majority of any cost involved! At this point the company is reversing their position and indicating: " That I am the responsible party, " (for any cost's involved, ) and that (we) didn't indicate, in any way shape or form, that we would bill Medicare." I have requested proof, on multiple occasions that Dynasplint did in fact attempt to bill Medicare, and Dynasplint has refused to provide me with any documentation whatsoever! Additionally they initially indicated a fixed cost or replacement value of around $1, 250.00 per each device. As of this writing they are fraudulently having their collection agency bill me over $2, 800.00 per each device. They have used a popular "bait and switch, " scam and additionally are engaging in "misleading and deceptive business practices." If this isn't enough they have also provided a medical device and have provided absolutely no ongoing care or support for said use or therapy for said device. I feel cheated and lied too. To those individuals who have posted replies regarding that we " have signed contracts..." Dynasplint has not fulfilled their obligations and have clearly and intentionally mislead many individuals who have fallen for a high pressure sales pitch. No one here is trying to get something for nothing, obviously the company is monitoring this site and attempting some form of damage control, albeit illegally. I look forward to my day in court...

You should know that the many alternate suppliers of this same equipment charge between $15.00 and $250.00 for these same, similar devices!

Scam company. Your insurance does NOT cover this thing. My Dynasplint rep was insistent that my insurance company did cover the cost. Lies upon lies. As soon as my MD was made aware of the issues he admitted he was talked into trying the device by the reps phony claims.

They are now billing me for 4 times the cost on their blank contract that I allegedly signed by the rep. I did NOT sign a contract.

Everyone I know at this point has been lied to and has nothing to do with these people and this alleged "medical device, " which BTW doesn't work.

Dynasplint Systems Billing

They had me using a dynasplint device to flex my big toe joint after replacement surgery, but now after all this I need orthotics for my foot since it forced my toes to misalign and lift. My orthothic costs $312.00 and they still want 54.00 for rental of unit. Disgusted!

Dynasplint has been nothing but a headache! My son NEEDS (has a medical necessity letter from Dr.) finger splints for swan neck deformity which causes him extreme pain in his fingers. The company wouldn’t issue the paperwork necessary for insurance to continue payment in a timely manner. After that was taken care of (by me), now they’re saying I owe them the full amount of all finger splints if I do not send them in today! Dr. And insurance are on board with getting the information and payment, but I am so exhausted from all the harassing phone calls, messages, and texts that I am sending them back and going through a different company. I explore anyone that is thanking about using this company... PLEASE DON’T!

Rep first shows up with device for wrong body part and side of body. Returns with the poorly designed arcaic device. Rep demonstrates with difficulty. Advised that I had a $37.00 above and beyond what was covered by insurance. Ok. Paid, signed an ipad for payment, turned out to be an agreement, which I wasn't permitted to read, that I discovered later stipulated may incur additional charges. Went online to view how to correctly apply device which turned out to not be how the rep applied. Wore as directed, no results, try an additional month, extra $37.00? NO! When I get the invoice I'm charged $155.00. I immediately return device and receive a bill for $395 + the $155.
Called company who refused to admit being totally forthcoming in terms and fees.
I wrote a complaint and mailed the company.
For 1 year they sent the same bill which I returned with the same letter. After 13 bills/letters I agreed to the $155 if they absorbed the $395.
Finally received an agreement.
Advice : Scrutinize all medical bills, question any charge you don't understand or agree with.
I have literally discovered dozens of errors which turned out to be a billing code error on the part of the many hands involved in the processing which I would have paid thousands for had I just accepted the company is always right. Never pay a change that does not make sense.

We were told our knee brace would be $22.50 month. After two months we received a bill of $247.50. They are scam artist... Stay away from them!

I am really happy to hear I am not alone. I too have been harassed by this company for months. To make matters even worse,
my purse was stolen with my finger extension device in it, so I can't even return it. I haven't really used my device in months and my physical therapist had said that I had rented for so many months, that I had really "bought and paid" for it. I am currently being charged $395 each time I met with their sales rep at a coffee shop (she treats) to see how my progress is and taking some measurements.
That's really expensive coffee, if you ask me! Why isn't there some kind of class action lawsuit against these guys?

Be careful of this company and their reps.
They supply a product, come out and fit you and adjust you...then leave.
They do not inform you that the product has to be returned and is a monthly rental.
Which to me is kind of disgusting for a unit used on the body...but..whatever...
Anyway, they told me two different times I didn't have any new product coming then sent me a letter saying to return it or I "may" be charged...
Guess what...I was charged..300.00 plus.
I haven't even used the product since last year..if I had known i would have gladly returned it...
So, be careful out there...cause when you call them, they will not work with you in anyway...they just give you the well you signed the paper...pay up...and with an attitude...
Be careful and be sure to read everything and be sure your rep tells you everything or you could be out big bucks!
Not a good customer service company.

Dynasplint Systems - Legal

If you are a patient and the Dynasplint reps comes to your home to give you a splint DO NOT SIGN ANY FORMS. I'm a lawyer and needed a splint that of course my insurance wouldn't cover and the rep wanted me to sign this form. Legally it binds you financially responsible for all costs assocaited with the Dynasplint. A good company would write off what was not...

I want to mention the dynasplint is totally a piece of crap. This is an insurance scam and should be investigated thoroughly. As well as The woman in the billing dept that calls herself a patient account rep. I would never refer this device to anyone and have told my surgeon about my experience in dealing with this company. You can rest assure I am spreading the word in Fort Worth Texas about this disastrous product and the company that stands behind it.

Dynasplint visited my home. My father rented this device for 3 months and returned it due to further damaging his hands. He requires surgery to repair the damage the device did. He returned the device and Dynasplint is billing him retlentlessly for it. I wrote a letter asking for a copy of the contract, and so far 2 years later they still can't produce it but are now chasing us down with a collection agency, and yet are unable to produce the contract. This device is bogus and did signficant damage to my father's hands. Keep far away. Insurance scam too. They said Medicare had approved it and I downloaded the benefit review and Medicare came out and said it was never approved.

Dynasplint Systems Customer service

The only thing I would say about Dynasplint is their customer support or lack there of. It is possible it may be just one person but I have been fighting a billing issue since 2007. I have called our "rep", sent emails, write letters. Even wrote notes on the bills which I assume would go back to the billing deparment but yet not one call, not one letter or response to my request over and over again to get a billing issue resolved.

Found out today that a manager had the info that I was disputing but yet NEVER made any attempt to contact me in any way to help resolve it.

Learned today the local rep was not honest with me.

It is clear on several levels there are serious customer service / management issues.

My son's rep took one of his dynasplint leg braces. She told me that she would replace the pads on it and return it in 2 weeks. That has been months ago. I've called her and had no response.
