BBVA $1000 wire transfer credit is missing

Hi, On 6-19-21 I transferred $1000 from my paypal acct to deposit into another paypal acct-Gloomthread the withdrawal via my BBVA acct 9453 (Gloomthread is my sons acct so he refunded that money and advised I should send it as family and friends. So I sent $1000 a 2nd time and it also went through same day, however, the 1st $1000 didn't get refunded into my bk acct until 6-28-21...2 mins later this refund was sent back to the following: debit for Paypal Retry pymt Co ref XKoreyX (This is my son-gloomthread acct) Why would this money be sent back out if it was a refund? My son has confirmed w his Paypal that that money was not placed in his acct. I have called BBVA several times and cannot get proof of where this money is so I really need help on tracking down actual documentation as to where it is... Paypal states it is also not in my paypal acct so it is missing and I cannot get any help from them w/o proof from you. Can someone please help and respond. I have attached a snip from the pay pal stmt so you can see the first and last entries that both reference the debit and credit. Thank you, Liz Keeton

BBVA All bank, worst bank ever (frozen account)

I live in other country, and my account was frozen in June 8
I call 25 times in 1 month, send at least 15 emails.
No body solved me anything, the waiting time in the calls were for 60-90 minutes.
I decide to fly Houston to solve the problem cause that money is for a familiar vacation with my kids to disneyland. I was saving over 3 years.
I went to the branch that I open my account a few months earlier with my brother.
They told me that they froze my account cause I revieved 2 deposist of 3, 000 (from my brother, that have morgage and account in bbva). My brother and I give them all the explanation, documents, the wire transfer and they told please email me all the information and tomorrow I will call you and unfreeze your account.
I was to angry that I said i dont want my account unfreeze i just want my money and get out of this bank.
They told me that be back next day for my cashiers check.
At next day the person who take my case at the branch was on vacation, nobody knew anything and they just told me; we cant give you money, you have to wait until the department of fraud gives you a solution.
Its July 18.
I dont have my money, i dont have explanation, they doesnt answer me the phone, I spend money to travel just to solve it…
WORST BANK EVER PLEASE DO NOT OPEN ACCOUNTS THERE

BBVA Checking account

I had an account with Simple I hadn't used in years, it had $4 dollars in it. Only had it to send my son money when he needed it and because it was completely online. No going in the bank or sitting in the phone required ever. Would never had opened the account had I needed to make 1 phone call. I did eventually request to close the account a few times in 2019 after my son closed his but was late replying to confirmation message. Didn't stress on it, even though I never used the account because Simple didn't charge any fees. Got notice Simple was closing down and packets to transfer account to BBVA. Never completed any transfer paperwork, wanted my account to close with Simple. Eventually got an email from BBVA talking about all the fees they were going to start charging me on my new account that they had opened without my request or permission. I replied told them I did not even want this account that they had opened without my permission and asked them to close it immediately. Never got a reply. Had to download their app just so I could send a Secure message demanding they close the account. Since then I have sent message after message demanding they close the account. A dormant account that hadn't been used in years with $4 dollars in it. The first fee they charge me will overdraft me, this is basically robbery. Told them I had sent a few requests to Simple on 2019, sent proof of that, copy of my driver's licence, instructions on what to do with the 4 bucks I don't give a crap about, just want the bank closed. Sent over 10 secure messages from their "award winning app" I never wanted to get. They just reply to call them on the phone. I will never call them on the phone. The whole point of this was that Simple didn't require phone calls. I refuse to wait on the phone to tell them something I've ready told them 100 times. How is the phone more secure then their mobile banking app? I am so mad. I am spending whatever amount of money it takes to send them a notorized letter demanding once again they close this this account and if they do not, or charge me their stupid fee in the meantime to overdraft my account I will file a law suit. I hate this bank. It is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Have closed other accounts with Secure messages no problem.

Just wanted to clarify that my refusal to call them on the phone is bigger than them or just not wanting to sit on hold for hours, ha who wouldn't love that. I work 80+ hours a week, there is no way I can do that for anyone. I consider the telephone to be an archaic form of communication and I actively refuse to do business with any company that that still forces you to call them when everything can be done online. No misunderstandings, a paper trail and everything. I just completely refinanced my home online without having spoken to one person one time. If any company in 2021 requires I call them, I instantly go to a different company. It is a pure waste of time. The speaker in my phone has been broken for a year. I never call anyone, ever by principle at this point. I never called Simple or spoke to anyone on the phone the entire time I had the account, not one time and would not have. How come it's perfectly fine to open an account online but not close it? That should be illegal, if you allow one you should have to allow the other. Simple did allow you to close it online. I have never spoken to BBVA on the phone not once either. Never even asked them to open this account that I don't want. So tell me exactly the point or purpose there is of calling these stupid robbers now to close it. It's not like they have a recording of my voice to compare. If you pay attention it is always companies that have shady and pushy sales tactics that want to force you to listen to them on the phone. Either that or they don't want their correspondence and lies to be documented. I hate BBVA so much. CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT

BBVA Employees

Ive been having multiple problems at this location. Last month they told me a check ive been cashing for years "looks irregular" and they wouldnt cash it.
Today they tried to tell me that my checks were too much and too little in my account so they wouldnt cash. Meanwhile a branch across the city did it 15 mins later no problem. Unacceptable and not trained employees who were rude and did not communicate effectively

Desired outcome: I want these tellers fired, they were rude, unprofessional, and dont know how to do their jobs. If not fired retrain them bc this is 2 months in a row location im reporting said they cant and location b did it no questions

BBVA Checking account money went into wrong account

Well I was a new customer to bbva bank I came in advertising for people to open up a checking account so I decided to join them and it was the worst mistake of my life when I join i'll call customer service and ask them if they can help me set up my online account that I can add my external account and transfer my money from my mortgage one of the customer service didn't give me the right information and my money went into the wrong account and I have not yet got one call from bbva bank about this issue I called them over 50 times each time I call it has been noted I talk to customer service the fraud department ccfa department I even left messages for the branch manager no one has follow up on this issue and at this point i'm so fed up with this thing I don't know what to do they don't care about customers when you call them they transfer you one department to another again it's the most horrible and ridiculous thing i've ever joined I uploaded my external account which has my account number and routing number the money that my account went to did not have exactly the same account number and it was not the same routing number1

BBVA Business banking

I have been a customer with BBVA banking for over 2 years. As a business customer I needed a bank verification letter as protocol for our payer source in order for them to verify our banking information in order to pay us.

I went to the location 3 times and got the letter but by the time we recieved the letter in the right format our payer had stopped payments awaiting this. Our is just getting out of the covid hard times and so we were very low on operating cash.

By the time the issue with the payer got resolved BBVA on the other had froze our account as they had received afew transaction that were returned ( knowing the nature of the situation some flexibility would have been appreciated).

I kept going to the bank and calling their fraud team but got no answer meanwhile our payer kept on sending eft's to the account that would be rejected.

This has put our company in a very bad position our employees their families haven't been paid neither have our vendors.

We have begged pleaded with them to unfreeze the account but getting no answer in return.

Our funds are there but we cannot get to them.

BBVA Checking money transfer wrong account

I tried to resolve my checking account issue with bbva bank customer service which I feel was very inconsiderate of my situation and has done nothing to help me at this point I feel like i'm going to have to escalate this into a lawsuit matter my money was taken from my checking account and customer service is going to tell me that there is nothing that they can do about it when my money was transferred to a different account I provided them documentation of account number and routing number of my external account

BBVA Rights have been taken away

To whom this may concern,
I'm Kelbe Davis and I corresponded with you via email a few months ago. I'm reaching out to you today, because I am having the absolute worst time dealing with bbva.
My situation is pretty simple but for the last year it has become my worst nightmare. First for some reason my account gets hacked and instead of bbva making things better they made it worst. After creating or issuing me a new account for some reason I cannot log into my mobile account. This has been ongoing since may 2020. Every time I have tried to call go into a branch no one could resolve this issue. On bbva ends there is an old user account and on my end, I have my new user account. Neither one can allow me to log in.
I thought I would be done dealing with bbva completely and just let my accounts close on their own. I honestly didn't know what else to do. During the pandemic it pretty much enabled me from doing a lot of things, I had to rely on doing everything from either my computer or over the phone. I have no car, my business has went under and I am broke. So please understand where I have a dilemma.
I have recently applied for the ppe loan and the lender is requiring that I saw bank statements from 2019 to current year, and since my bank at that time was only bbvai again am force to have to reach out to someone to help me get into my account just so I can download these forms.
I called bbva today first I spoke with someone from the toll-free number and again he tells me the same thing. That someone will reach out to you and help you get back into your account. Then I call the branch here in bakersfield ca and tell him just a brief summary of my issue. He informs me that I have three closed accounts one is in collections and if I want any forms that I would have to pay $7 dollars for each statement! and for 10 months that$60 dollars that I don't have at all. Unbelievable for something that I didn't ask for and it's like I cannot get anyone from bbva to understand or care for my situation. It's like i'm just another issue swept under the rug. And that's how I feel.
As a consumer somewhere this kind of treatment is wrong and pretty much discriminatory if you ask me. Not only am I slapped with some outrages fee that has been sent to collections, i'm locked out of my own accounts that I set up with bbva with no access or control to get back into, but right when I thought I should just let bbva have this win, no i'm forced back to have to deal with them only to get slapped and kicked right out the door! and I haven't even left my home. It's a bit like bully to me who has my life in their system and I have to pay to get it back. All I am asking is for that $7 dollar fee to be waived and to be able to go pickup my 10 months of statements or have the documents mailed to me, I would prefer emailed. If I cannot get this sir, I don't know who I will have to take this up with but I will. Then i'll go to a lawyer and then the news. Only because if bbva isn't a scam out to sucker people into accounts then their showing a lot of signs of being prejudice.
And that's not right.

BBVA Balance transfers

I have a credit card BBVA account I requested for Balance Transfer on March 8-2021, until now Arpil-27-2021 BBVA bank haven't transfer .I called 4 times about my request, I remember the 3nd I called the lady on the phone she told me that (It'll be closing on April 25-2021 )she said she is sure, until today April 27-2021 I checked my BBVA account again, they didn't do anything . another credit card bank they charged my interest 50 $ i had to paid . BBVA is killing customer, this is my last called them if they can't do it I'll use another bank for Balance Transfer .This is first time using this BBVA bank and my last time .I felt like they don't have any responsible, they don't care customer. They could transfer or not, at least let customer know that .what's going on! they don't contact me or call let customer know. I hope the Bank Manager could hear this. I just give 1 star in this BBVA bank company, I feel really disappointed with this BBVA bank .

BBVA Trynig to get Credit Card Replaced or unblocked

I reported a suspicious transaction on my BBVA Visa card on or about march 20 2021. I called the credit card customer service department the the representative disabled my card and said a new card would be issued. Yesterday April 13 i called the dept back because I had not received my new card. She stated something about fraud and gave me the number to the fraud department. I called this number [protected] and was put on hold. I gave up after 90 mins and called my Bank and explained the situation to her she in turn puts me on hold and then some other man came on that I could barely understand and I had to explain it all again he asked what did I want I said either my card unblocked or a new one issued. He said I had to contact the fraud dept which I once again explained I did and was in hold for 90 min. He states he would call the dept and call me back. I have yet to receive a call back. I have been a customer of BBVA for over !5 years and have overall been happy with my service. Please contact me with a resolution below is my Phone # and email address

BBVA Debit card

I was automatically called about possible fraud on my account.
The person took care of the situation but I still have an amount of 4.95 that has not been taken care of.
Also I was told I would recieve a new card in 5 to 7 days and it has been 21 days and yet to see my card.
Customer service is a joke I even had a lady laughing at my stuation which is not right at all.
Then I spent almost an hour on the phone trying to find out why I haven't received my card and was told they would send another card out that would take another 7 days I then said it was not right for me to wait that long since I already have been waiting 21 days now.
I said to make things right it should be overnighted me then I was hung up on and never called back

Desired outcome: if ican't get a response i will just close my account because it seems to me no one cares about customer relations

I hae a checking account with bbva u filed a fraud dispute I never got my card in the mail before I left county I been using online back transferring or order online 660 was taking out at a ATM I called the vabk they denied my claim I'm in another country and they denied mW said it wasn't fraud I appealed it they gave me a credit for 660/I time them not to mail me a card I'm out of country they did any wag somebody got that and took 300 they refused to take my dispute and took the credit back out my account I am now 218 negative
I have to deal with someone stealing my money and now I age. to deal with the bank stealing my money

I was just in Bbva in Laredo, Texas horrible experience was in line to pay a safe box from Bbva from across the street was in line for 20m only two tellers and only one working, I was next I told her is there anyone else working since your not she said I'm not only the other lady, there were 7 behind me some elders no respect at all, then finally they send a man.

BBVA Customer service

I refuse to allow a child working at your bank in Oxford to speak to my elderly mother the way she does any longer, this has happened too many times for it to be just a bad day she is having. I called and complained on her and nothing was done, after doing some investigating, I learned her mother is an employee as well, this doesn't give her the authority to speak to customers in the manner she does and we are not the only customers she has spoken to in that manner. If she cannot handle the job then maybe she needs to be replaced with someone who can. We will be looking for a new bank starting today.

BBVA Auto loan payoff after car was totaled

My car got totaled in December 2020 and State Farm sent a check to BBVA to pay off the vehicle on 12/21/2020. As of today BBVA has still not cashed the check from State Farm even though they have the check as confirmed by BBVA. They are still requiring monthly payments from me even though it is not my fault and have threatened to hurt my credit. This has been going on for over two months now. Account number [protected]. BBVA Checking account

On or about Jan 25 2021 my checking acct with bbva was frozen due to suspicious activity.
As of today Feb 16 2021 the acct is still on hold. I have called the bank several times and no one could actually tell me why.
22 days with no access to my money. Is that acceptable practice?
I was astounded that no one had a sense of urgency in resolving this problem.
I have several EFTs that pull from my acct to pay for utilities, water, tv, internet, loan. I paid the delinquent accounts with a credit card.

BBVA WORST of the WORST!!!!

This bank is the worst bank that I've ever had to deal with! I pray my husband can help me refinancing my car, and get the heck away from this bank. I will never recommend this bank to anyone of my family, or not even my enemies. They have a guy name Lewis that works for the company and he's a rude as*! Lewis told me my address was not correct, so I repeated to him again, and he still saying that they have a different address on file. I called back and told the other representative what had occur, and when he ask me for the address...he was like, that's what we have. I'm sick of BBVA and I will NEVER do busy with them again!

BBVA Online banking

I m stuck outside of Mexico due to covid travel restrictions. The bank token has run out of battery and it is impossible to log in to my account. Phone operators are completely unhelpful and I have no way of knowing what's going on with my accounts I have banked in several countries and I can safely say that the customer service of BBVA Mexico is the absolute worst.

Desired outcome: Help to log in to my accounts without having to visit a bank branch which is physically impossible as there are travel restrictions

BBVA Banking Accounts and Service

During Covid 19 as flights had been said to be cancelled I flew home to the UK, The BBVA blocked my account without warning and then for 6 months I have called and tweeted them trying to resolve this issue and nothing,
No assistance, kept hanging up after 56 mins on hold,
No attempt to help

Do not use it is just a pain and non helping bank,
Was a customer for years and then they blocked me for receiving my last payment and even though i was travelling and had a savings account i could touch neither,

BBVA Froze my account

November 27th, 2020 I received email saying i've been opted out of mobile and online banking. I called customer service and was given number to call bbva and was told they will be closing my account and account will be frozen until disputes are finalized. I don't have access to any funds and I was able to use my account without any issues. I always used the account within the guidelines. I'd like all my checking and savings account to be unfrozen
