Aside from refusing to hire & discriminating against minority employees, barnes & noble has really lousy customer service, you'd get more respect going to your local library, than shopping there. And the people who work there usually have an attitude, and are lazy; each time I go there, I see an employee or manager sitting at a desk and not assisting or greeting customers, and if you ask them for assistance or ask them a question, they get nervous and tell you to get a manager for help.. One time, my brother tried to get a job there, and the manager gave him the run-a-round, and lied to him; saying that his store wasn't hiring anyone, but just a few minutes later (When he thought my brother had left) , this same barnes & noble manager - hired a white female with no experience, and was under aged, on the spot! This is another racist bookstore, I will not be recommending to any of my friends..
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
