My wife placed an ad for her business on Saturday November 25. When placing the ad, she accidentally submitted $700 instead of $70, like she normally does. She contacted her bank Saturday after she discovered her mistake, but they were unable to help her. She is now not seeing the $700 on her Backpage account and needs some help to reverse the charges. I am so sick of this. I advertise on women searching for men, just for massage. I have spent hundreds of dollars down the drain for flagged ads. On back page, I have seen "cum" shots, transvestites, people threatening me that if I don't offer sex they will flag me, and so on. I would love to be able to go to the gym, not wasting money, and actually being able to put money in my savings. Yes, I know women>men is quite tricky after censorship, though my ads are clean. Many of other ads are very graphic. Please stop the flagging.
I can't update my ads for some reason and I have like 30 dollars on there.

Ive tried starting a whole new bp account and started using pictures with any watermark on any of my pics. Also i use a real bland website link and so far its been working ive had 4 at the most get deleted. And of course over 8 hrs another ad gwt deleted but i think it's competion flagging them. I know for a fact if it gets deleted within 5 mins its bp. Other girls cant make sure [censor] come down that quick. Hope it helps anyone!

I am having the same problem! I have lost over $300 from posting ads in the dating section as well. I don't post nudes and I put up classy photos along with screenshots of my websites where I have reviews and also a correct person link to my blog. My ad gets taken down within 2-3 minutes. I didn't know if it's competition or maybe bp doing it automatically since I have so many flagged ads in my account. I haven't had this issue before. It started recently. I have over 100+ ads and barely any got community removed until 3 weeks ago when I traveled to other states. Even revisited certain states where most my reviews came from and I'm getting my ads removed left and right. It's stressful. Any feedback would be welcomed. Maybe I should just stick to my home state lol

I'm going through the same! I'd really like some answers as well. I do feel less stressed knowing I'm not alone in this struggle. Hopefully you and I can get this fixed it's just not fair to people who are being honest and sincere.
BP is not removing your ads, it's your competition, they are reporting your ads & they are automatically being removed. Sadly this happens a lot, it's like the old hookers, kicking the new pretty girl off the corner, because she looks better.

I obtained a $50 Best Buy Gift card, which I sold to BackPage and after entering I usually check to see if it was processed because for some reason it doesn't process correctly. But anyway after I sold said Gift Card the funds were not added to my account which would have been $56 with some change because of the +10% bonus for using Best Buy. I then re-entered said Gift Card and BackPage informed me the Gift Card was already received, it's been almost a week and I haven't received either my funds or any messages from Backpage regarding this issue. It's only $50 but this should be handled a little better or at least respond to my email regarding the situation, at the moment I'm not sure if I trust BackPage enough to sell any more Gift Cards or continue using their service. This happened on 11/06/17 at the Publix Store on 400 E Central Blvd, Orlando, FL 32801 at approximately 10am, payment was in cash so I don't really have any proof other than what information BackPage has. The Gift Card was not defective as it was considered received, The physical card was discharged after uploaded as it usually takes 1 hour to acquire the funds and I thought it was gonna go through like normal.

No way the community is flagging my ad, I think it's backpage doing this to us to get us to pay more money! They're not fixing anything, it's a joke! All my ads are being flagged and no response from them! I'm so sick of them, they're about done so they're taking all the can from us! On backpage ad format you added a space that asks the ad owner for social media or profile. If the space is left blank the ad wont post.. What info do you want in this space? There are many people who do not use social media to protect their privacy. You can not put potential baxkpage ad owners safety and pri vacy at risk by linking a backpage ad to their face book page. Thats a huge breach. Alternatives :-remove the secfion, make the info optional or print a generic social media site that ad users can enter if they donf have or want to use their social media page on a backpage ad. If people were brazen enough to link the two together they could just post a personal ad from tbeir facebook page for free. Then back page would become obsolete. I dont use social media. I have listed ads on backpage w no trouble. But now my ad. Womt post because I have no entry to fill in the blank for social media on the ad form. Please advise

I totally agree with all of you. I have tried repeatedly trying to contact them to ask exactly what the heck they want exactly in there. Because I have tried so many times to ask them and never once received a reply. I think it's pathetic because a couple months ago you could have left it blank but now you have to fill it in. I have the same complaint. I tried editing an ad and also creating a new ad, and it requires this social media deal. I am not sure what they want. And I have sent emails and called Backpages. They simply do not respond to either. I am guessing the owners are raking in the money, lying on a beach someplace, and laughing at us for being so stupid. The one suggestion of creating a fake social media account makes not sense. Why should I do that just to post an ad that has nothing to do with this social media account. This field should be optional only. If Backpages does not change its way, I will take our advertising money elsewhere.

Wow I never thought a reputable site would advertise to purchase credits from a complete scam. I used bitcoin4backpage.com and was robbed. Backpage advertises this site to buy credits. It’s all on their site. Someone is getting rich off this scam. $25 gift card stolen by backpage. In my photo you can see where backpage directs us to purchase credits on these sites. Backpage is the worst kind of thief out there! As others are saying is true. Our ads that we PAY for are any where from a dollar a single post up to five dollars. They are simply stealing our money because they no longer have the adult section so they are re cooping their losses by stealing from the hands that feed them. No wonder Eros is the number one site. Its just a matter of time before bp is no longer. Its sad that they steal from people who HAVE to post on their site in the first place. None of us want to be there in the first place. I have emailed BP twice about this. I paid 25$ in total to buy 18 credits so that I could post a few ads. I cannot find them and I know they're not showing up because I've even google searched them and have had nothing come up for replies. I would either like all of the credits refunded or for them to fix the ads so that they show up and aren't marked as spam, and the dates reset since it says they've been LIVE for 2 days when they're not even showing up. Please fix this now.

I agree. I just noticed this the last few weeks and now that I want to put up more ads, I have to enter my phone number. This is terrible. I don't know how anyone is going to stand out and make any money this way. They are hurting people at a very bad time of year too. I don't know why they have to do this... ? To pay $7 per ad and only be able to list a phone number is a massive rip off. It's also not fair that there are still a bunch of people who are able to use the old adds. If I were browsing, I'd sure skip over the phone numbers and go to the adds. But I'm sure BP knows this. I hope something is done about it.
