I have dealt with many financial institutions with excellent customer care. B2B Bank is the worst bank toward customer care and impossible to reach the appropriate department. The waiting time ridiculous long, the customer service put you on hold so they can talk to the supervisor. At no time the bank will notify you went the mortgage to come to term nor for the anniversary. The mortgage came to term and I had to paid an additional $400+. This bank should be investigated at their practices of overcharging.
selling & buying new home
We had an approved mortgage weeks ago that was negotiated on our behalf by our mortgage broker. We worked on it for 6 weeks with them (we are self employed and bridging 2 homes for one month) due to our complicated financial circumstances. We were calculating our mortgage etc based on prime rates.
Their auditor looked over the deal 4 days before we close to advise he will not authorize the mortgage after all. 4 days! we've had to scramble and now use a B lender and pay 6.99% - we were over a barrel - did I mention 4 days before we close!
Their [censored] up has cost me more than $40, 000 in extra lending fees. yea yea yea banks are too busy. give me a break. They have more money than god and have complete screwed us over.
I hate this bank and so do a lot of other people on the net. I will tell everyone I know both personally and professionally to never ever use this bank. They are unethical bullies.
Desired outcome: reimburse me for their mistake
I agree. B2B Bank screwed us over also, we completed a mortgage renewal at 1.78% only to be told 4 months later that we didn`t submit the renewal so therefore we were being given a 6% renewal rate. Once I provided the proof that we had provided the renewal I have not heard from them until recently to offer us a renewal at the same rate as what we are receiving...6%. huh? I told them that I am paying off the remainder of the mortgage and they are dead to me!

worst bank ever. never ending cycle of not honouring mortgage agreement. charging me 6% mortgage rate when I renewed at 1.78%. I can`t see how they remain in business
Consumers beware! The worst company I have ever dealt with. The slowest service on the planet making it very stressful. We had a portable mortgage. They did not honour it. It took them a month and a half to tell us. Then they charged us a penalty for discharging our mortgage early. Going to a lawyer to get our money back. Unbelievable!

Worst Customer service. Takes their own sweet time to approve a mortgage puts the customer on high level of stress.
