I agreed to a trial of software. The confirmation I received of the trial made no mention of an additional charge being made after 7 days if I failed to cancel the trial. Then, 7 days later I find a charge has been made to my credit card for software I was not happy with and did not wish to purchase. At no time was I informed that this charge would be incurred prior to the amount being deducted. I immediately contacted the company, with the order number Avangate order #[protected] yet they said I was not entitled to a refund due to a missed deadline. How is this possible when I had received no correspondence about a deadline?
I am sure that this issue can be easily and speedily resolved and look forward to this happening promptly.

I purchased antivirus software I could not download. I reported this to them immediately and requested a refund . POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.. They completely ignored my problem and request. This dispute went on for 5 weeks. I took it to Pay pal, but because Avangate had a transaction number they could prove and I could not prove I was unable to download their program. I lost 50.00 and NO Product! They just don't care. Order from a more local company with a reputation for good honest customer service. A service that truly wants to resolve issues for all parties involved!

Won't refund money
I purchased a trial period of 7 days for a company called Media Crawler. At the time of signup I clicked on a box that said "disable auto-renewal".
They charged me $69.95 for the full service anyway. Now they are insisting that there is no checkbox to disable auto-renewal and will not refund my money.
I have spoken to 3 different people. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor.
The only thing they say they will do it email "media crawler" to tell them that I want a refund. This was done once already 4 days ago on 2/11/12.
I want me $69.95 back. I am disabled and on a fixed income. This is ridiculous.

I purchased a $1.99 trial for media software access from avangate. i didn't realize that after 7 days it would automatically renew for $69.95. It was my fault for not reading the fine print. However I called them and asked for a refund. They granted me the refund and said it would appear as a credit on my debit card after 24 hours. The next day I checked with my bank and there no credit, and instead there was a 2nd charge of $69.95! I have read several complaints online about the company and everything that people are writing about them is true. The company is based in the Netherlands and they say they will take care of charges and they DON'T.
You could try to contact their customer service [protected] and work through an issue but I guarantee you will end up calling them everyday, asking why it has not been done. If this happens to you, best thing to do is immediately call and report your card stolen so they will stop charging your card and so that you can get your bank to cancel the previous charges. Otherwise, prepare for avangate to keep using your card number to pile on additional, unauthorized charges.

I made a repurchase of IOLO System Mechanics to try and solve a sound problem on my laptop. Every time I try to access System Mechanics it tells me my account expired on Sept 12 2012.. I am so frustrated with not being able to contact them ie phone numbers not recognised, the constant none information that is being fed back to me. I know it was them as I had not used my card till then and all the charges happened right after that. Thanks to my bank for calling me to alert me to the fraudulent charges. impossible to cancel
A year ago I ordered an inexpensive financial software program, but when I got it, it was not what I was looking for. A year later I am charged with some type of continuing service fee, something I would never have agreed to. But when I try to have this charge refunded and cancel any ongoing service, I am trapped in a maze of inefficiency, where I can't stop the payment unless I submit more information, allowing the company more access to my records.
I got one email from one company asking Avangate to refund the money, then an email from Avangate thanking me for my order.
I should have know better than to deal with an unknown. It should always be a clue that you are involved in a scam if there is no "contact us" button and no customer service phone number. I will be reporting this to the BBB and I'm going to have to change my bank card number, something that will cost me time and money, just to keep these thieves out of my account.
Bottom line: DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH AVANGATE!

This product is garbage. It messed up windows, office professional, quickbooks, and the printer and scanner. Had to BUY a NEW Computer. I asked for a refund and got the runaround instead.
I've been trying for days to cancel and have my PayPal account refunded. I did not receive an email and no longer have a desktop, only a smartphone. I have emailed customer service several times with no true response that isn't automated. The software provided was actually great, but I have no need for it now and the computer it was on is dead. Beware of clipshare, it is a scam
I paid for the clipshare script and paid for an install as well. The script never worked properly and they kept saying they would fix the issue. Then the site got hacked because of security flaws. Beware of clipshare it is a SCAM!

They says its easy, sure if you are a programmer.
And they dont tell you that your 'members' cannot add their own video links from youtube etc! They want money to build the pluggin!
When asked why their support forums have been offline for months their excuse is they are working on it.
I can start a support forum in order 15 minutes ready for customers ...seriously i think these guys are selling this and have nothing to do with the actual programming.
And the programmers that reply to support ticket five days later dont understand English enough to understand the damn questions!
Terrible third world quality script and general outlay, worse than social engine which is ten years outdated too.

Why don t you better prove that you bought a legal copy the script. It is funny how you come and complain about the support, but I can't even find an order for the ClipShare license. The only order that I find with your name, email etc, is for the Installation Service, payment that has also been reversed!

After you have made a chargeback for a DELIVERED service, you don't provide an order number for a script copy that you are using on your website (probably from Warez), how do you expect to to continue to provide you support and answer your tickets ?

I searched the helpdesk and found your ticket, where you have some nerve to ask us to do custom work for you after all the abuses you have done against our company!

Danny, (i guess it is your name as i get an email from you) if you were waiting for me to provide anything, i believe that a simple email would have fix everything. I remind you that while you were waiting, i was sending email asking why the work is not done, opening a dispute at Paypal, opening a dispute at Avangate BV, etc.
Frankly, should my claim right or wrong you can't answer to your customer after 6 month and expect it will convince any one else but yourself.

I agree - it is unauthorised if its done under a 'cloak' I have been the victim of 2 unauthorised charges, Auslogics appear to hide under the umbrella of Avangate - who cannot re-imburse. When you buy the software apparently we are supposed to have ticked a box that says auto renewal. However most vendors will actually contact their customers to inform them of renewals/software updates but with Auslogics you don't get this - so if you no longer use the software you will not be aware that you are being charged. What I don't understand is that if you don't have an account with Avangate any longer, you cannot download your software but you are being charged. This is not right - and hence the post above is not factually correct. Still I expect Auslogics are making a mint out of this - get it right Auslogics and get some ethics into your business!
What do you mean by 'unauthorised charge'? Sounds like subscription renewal to me. If that's what it was, then Auslogics are very clear about the fee.
Horrible customer service
I bought a product called Inesoft Phone Dec 30 2009 and the same day after I had to get a Asurion replacement phone. I thought I could simply use the very same installer and put my purchase on my replacement insurance phone but this was not the case as it gave me a different unlock code. No big deal I thought, I'll just write support.
Well after sending three letters over the course of a week starting the day I had to file for a replacement phone, DEC 31 2009, and never getting a reply I'm just assuming now I never will. I was looking at purchasing other products from this company but after this I'll just look elsewhere. I will thoroughly avoid either of these companies in the future. I even opened a Paypal dispute against this company but lucky for me virtual items are not covered by paypal protection...
A side note- EVERY single other company I emailed asking for new unlock codes for products I purchased GLADLY emailed them to me THE VERY SAME DAY.

They received the payments for $19, 99 and then started to ask documents to verify the payment
So i told them to cancel the order, and again they sent me an email asking for documents
So i told them again to cancel the order and refund, and they have sent again a prepacked email asking to verify the order
I finally sent them 10 emails 1 week ago, and they never sent an email with the cancellation and refund confirmation
In addition by the phone they told me "you are a fraudseter, and it is well know that americans are fraudsters, and you want to cancel the order and refund because you are a fraudster, like most of americans"
So i believe they don't like americans (They are in netherlands)

I purchase Kaspersky total security and it does't work, at the activation does not work.
They do not list if the product is Mac compatible. Pretty dumb for a software company. When I complained, they told me I should have tried if first. I did not try is because I was not going to waste my time and a disk since there is 5 minute limit on the test product. The followed up by saying I should gift the software to a Window using family member. I stopped payment from my credit card. Terrible company, there to misinform and take your money.
This is a fraudulent company! Do not have anything to do with this company! When i called to get a refund for the $39.99 that "alex" faudulently took out of my daughter's account, he told me it couldn't be done. He claimed she authorized this as a yearly sort of thing, however our bank knows nothing of this fom march of last year. There is no record of this charge on her account. "alex' is a theif and deserves to be put undr the jail! If the federal bureau of investigation doesn't get him, i will. I'm sure he thinks he is safe from harm because he claims to be located in amsterdam, but i assured him that our authorities have the means to contact him anywhere in the world. He hung up.

I ordered the ABBYY 12 fineprint software and it did not load correctly. I filed 2 support tickets. Both were closed within a day of filing the issue and both tickets were closed as "solved" without the company ever contacting me. This smacks of bogus software pedalling on the internet. I contacted paypal and my credit card company to block payment. No worries here. Just don't order anything from Avangate.
Debited my credit card $269.95 when I havent renewed my authority or subscription as I no longer require the product.I would expect a full refund & no longer use of the card details without my renewed authority.

tweakbit that was supposed to clean up my computer
what i got was a program that went through my
computer (remotely) and showed me everything that
needed to be cleaned up
i was then transferred to a "senior" technician, who

the word refund doesn't appear anywhere on the page
i called again to say the statement doesn't say it's
a refund, and i was told because the 29.95 has a
minus in front of that this shows it's a refund.

If you're like me, you bought at a "discount" their HP Drivers Update Utility DGTSOFT Order # [protected] on October 19, 2015 for £12.91.
It is a scam! Says after the scan I need 22 drivers updated. Ok fine so you click download and it looks like its doing something. Then select install and it just freezes every stinking time.
Checked against 4 other driver update utilities and my system is just fine.
So since Oct 20th I've been emailing dgtsoft and no reply. I try to call their number +[protected] and the number doesn't exist. So try variations of that number and still nothing.
What I'm worried about is what they will do with my card info or try to charge another license fee a year from now.
Man after all these years and finding this company's link on the HP main website I thought it was safe. Guess I'm a fool. And yes ADVANGATE is the "mothership" and is a company that handles the selling of other companies products such as dgtsoft. Advagate is in Amstelveen, Netherlands.

This is a scam. They have a recording when you call their number. They have a link that goes nowhere to chat services and another link that goes nowhere for phone support. after communicating to a representative that the product didnt do what it was suppose to i didnt want it and didnt understand half the conversation anyway because i was talkiing to a call center in india a rep the next day called me from the us and apologized for the mix up and explained i was charged a business rate and tried to sell me the product at a discounted rate and i stated to him i think this is a scam and dont want it and after trying to convince me it would be ok i infatically stated i wasnt interested. yet i am still trying to be billed for services not received please resolve this now! paul e smith

On November 17, 2012 I sign up with systweak.com for their service. It was a three year contract after using them for seven months, I see no reason to continue their service.
