This so called "company" but looks like a circus,

They received the payments for $19, 99 and then started to ask documents to verify the payment

So i told them to cancel the order, and again they sent me an email asking for documents

So i told them again to cancel the order and refund, and they have sent again a prepacked email asking to verify the order

I finally sent them 10 emails 1 week ago, and they never sent an email with the cancellation and refund confirmation

In addition by the phone they told me "you are a fraudseter, and it is well know that americans are fraudsters, and you want to cancel the order and refund because you are a fraudster, like most of americans"

So i believe they don't like americans (They are in netherlands)

I checked with the credit card company and the payments is "cleared" and i checked the status on avangate.com and it's "under evalutation"

Don't buy from this scammers, they will receive your payments, they will send you a prepacked email asking for documents, and if you want to cancel the order and the refund, they will never answer you regarding the refund

They are a ripoff company, very not professional

I will go ahead and contact better busines burea if required

Additional order verifications are sometimes required especially for electronically delivered orders. There are cases where the customer IP address does not match the billing country or if the order is paid with Paypal, the name and email address in the online order does not match the one in the Paypal account. All orders that are not delivered or delayed due to security checks are refunded. Refunds might take several days, depending on your bank procedures.

I purchased order reference #[protected] a blu-ray player software from your partner Aiseesoft for $29.25 after downloading and checking out their trial version which had watermarks, time limit and the audio played fine continuously but the video plays for
two or three seconds then it pauses for two or three seconds and it did that continuously also, moreover, Aiseesoft stated in writing
that the benefits of the purchased version are no watermarks, no time limit, etc...that it will work properly. So during this time I did some
browsing and found other companies that had blu-ray player software, but I reluctantly decided to go with Aiseesoft because their
trial version did not work properly it had the watermarks and the video played and paused continuously but despite all of that,
I still chose to purchase their purchased version and hoping that it will work properly AND IT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY, AFTER
I PURCHASED AND DOWNLOADED AISEESOFT 'S BLU-RAY PLAYER SOFTWARE PURCHASED VERSION NOT ONLY IT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY, IT PLAYED INPROPERLY WITHOUT THE BENEFITS AISEESOFT MENTIONS IN WRITING, THE
WATERMARKS WERE STILL THERE AND THE VIDEO PLAYED AND PAUSED CONTINUOUSLY AS YOU ARE VIEWING IT ON
PLAY MODE. So I immediately emailed numerous times aiseesoft support and the financial dept. at Avangate and I requested a $29.25 REFUND unless the problem is corrected and the aiseesoft blu-ray player software works properly, and aiseesoft/support responded and instructed me to go to this link and that I can download the latest version of the program I purchased at this link
here "http://www.aiseesoft.com/blu-ray-player/". I did download this aiseesoft mac blu-ray-player which I was instructed to download
and IT DID NOT WORK, IT DID NOT HELP IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, so I assumed that it could have downloaded the trial
version since I only downloaded the latest version as I was instructed to download it and if you download without purchasing you will
download the trial version, THEN I DECIDED TO DOWNLOAD THE PURCHASED VERSION SO I PURCHASED ORDER REFERENCE #[protected] AISEESOFT MAC BLU-RAY-PLAYER...AND IT STILL DID NOT WORK PROPERLY, NO CHANGE WHAT
SO EVER.
Again, I immediately contacted aiseesoft/support and informed them that MY REFUND REQUEST JUST SHOT-UP TO $58.50 unless
the problem is corrected and the aiseesoft blu-ray player software works properly, and aiseesoft/support never ever responded.
The only responses I got was that the payment was received, and thanking me for the purchase and the payment.
ALL OF MY ATTEMPTS OF CONTACTS AND REQUESTS HAVE ALL BEEN IGNORED TO DATE.
I would greatly appreciate that you lend me your assistance and that you locate and look into both of my orders reference numbers being [protected] and [protected], and I don't even have to look them up, I've got them memorized from quoting them numerous times.
I'm also aware that this here refund-request process is a lengthy one, as long as the results are $58.50 refund-request approved.

I'm not sure, but I like I'm being scammed by Avangate. I paid 133.91 in January 2013 and a week later they said I needed more work on my computer. Then they asked for another 133.91! I don't have that kind of money everymonth, let alone twice a month! I'm not paying it. The work they did was next to nothing. NO MORE MONEY AVANGATE!

I just got hit with some random payment via my advanced system care. i was using the free version after i upgrade to v6, (or so i thought) turns out, i wasn't and the thing tried to force an automatic subscription fee on me, it's already in my paypal and i'm trying to cancel it, but paypal insists that it's legit.
i don't know how this happened, i never agreed to paying for the full product! i was perfectly happy with the free version!
now i've got to find a way of getting out of paying 20 ish dollars or run out of money to do anything with! (i'm a poor career student with only 80 dollars in the bank lulz) i need that money for laundry!
[censored] all to hell i only have one suit of clothes!
I'm trying to contact avangate right now, but if their customer service is as bad as you guys say then i'm screwed T.T

I am a software developer who has used Avangate's payment processing service for over a year and a half. They are not scammers or identity thieves. The fact that they cannot provide refunds on request is common to all payment processors. Only the software developer can issue a refund. If you don't get a response from the developer, decline the charge with your credit card company. But please don't blame Avangate for a developer's shortcomings.

I'd also like to point out that sometimes customers provide a bad email address and no phone number. When you contact a developer, it is a good idea to provide them with a secondary means of contact.

I used them to order a program. Got program ok then next day over 1500 charged to my card. I know it was them as I didn't use card before or after purchase. My bank called and said that the card was being used to much. Thank god they called me so I could cancel card and stop this. So word of advise watch out for company's like this...

I agreed to a trial of software. The confirmation I received of the trial made no mention of an additional charge being made after 7 days if I failed to cancel the trial. Then, 7 days later I find a charge has been made to my credit card for software I was not happy with and did not wish to purchase. At no time was I informed that this charge would be incurred prior to the amount being deducted. I immediately contacted the company, with the order number Avangate order #[protected] yet they said I was not entitled to a refund due to a missed deadline. How is this possible when I had received no correspondence about a deadline?

I am sure that this issue can be easily and speedily resolved and look forward to this happening promptly.

paid for the item online and i never received the activation code only 3 weeks after i complaint to paypal i received the email from
avangate ask for refund, did not received response from them . and paypal can not do anything because it's and electronic delivered
item .
so stay away from these people they are a BIG ###

Just sent an email to support for order [protected]. Never got an email asking if I wanted to renew, just an after the fact note that it happened. I don't want to renew. suite à mon annulation du paiement automatique pour Media crawler auprés de Avangate.com ces derniers mon envoyé un mail le 20 janvier 2012 10:45, confirmant cette annulation et s'engageantt de ne rien prélever sur ma carte de credit.
Malheureusement le 21/01/2012 Avangate .com à débité ma carte de 69;95 us $ sans aucun scrupule.

I too am having a problem with this process. I ordered some software back in January 2010 and was charged for it in 2010 and 2011 against my Credit Card - problem was that I only noticed it this year. I have not used the product since, I no longer have an account on Avangate - but somehow they can still charge me? I phoned and spoke to Avangate and they said that I would receive a response from Auslogics in 24 hours but its now past that and guess what - no response! I think that its a very good money spinner for software companies producing their products and charging people who most of them probably don't realise they are automatically being charged for something they no longer use - I have not been sent any emails informing me of my renewals - which cannot be right. I shall be very wary of buying software on-line in the future. My recommendation is treat any purchases from Auslogics via Avangate with caution. If I get any response from Avangate or Auslogics I will update this posting.

I ordered 1 X Swahili Starter on the 26/11/11 order no.[protected]. They said that they word send me an email so I can download the course. It has never happened. When I log in to check on delivery it says that it has been delivered. I have nine colleagues who need the same software. Their business model is wrong. It is better to sell 10 @ $35.95 or $359.50 than just rip me off for $35.95.

We carefully investigated this incident, the support tickets previously opened with Avangate, the feedback received from the software manufacturer, the information presented for the purchased product on the official website, etc and our investigation revealed the following:

- there is a DEMO version of the software for the purchased product on the vendor’s website (of the type “try before you buy”)
- the vendor provided timely consideration to your case in regards to the encountered issue, and indeed they denied refunding based on their own Terms of Service, product sufficient description and the aforementioned “try before you buy” option
- there is absolutely no history of similar complaints over dysfunctional products for this vendor within the Avangate platform

We kindly remind you that Avangate acts as a payment provider for a large number of different online merchants. Every dispute, complaint, over product functionality etc, should be addressed directly to the software publisher from which you purchased, and not to Avangate.

Taking all factors into consideration, Avangate successfully and timely managed this incident, attended to both parties involved, as we tried to reach a resolution in your case. Under these terms, Avangate reached the conclusion that your online order cannot be refunded following your request. If you disagree with the reasons provided above and the resulting decision, please note you also have the option of opening a chargeback dispute with the card issuer under the reason “product not functional”.

I emailed you many times kindly requesting a refund and you told me that the software was working find (just not for me), and that you could not give me a refund without the software provider's approval. Clarifying the current situation is only an attempt for you to save face in public by saying how you are right in not giving refunds. I gave you many chances to do right, and even told you that I would be leaving my honest negative feedback on every website and forum that I could find if you didn't do right. But only now when you have found one of many many complaints do you at all seem interested, but only to save yourself from the public eye. I would give you my order information if you gave me any sign that you would actually consider giving me a refund for the software that does not work on my website, but I really do not think that it interests you to provide good customer service and to do what right. You seem to only be interested when it involves PR. And for the record, I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - if everyone else here did too then you would not still have that A rating.

I have also been a victim of Avangate's fraud. They were happy to take my money for software, but when it didn't work they denied my refund as they refund has to be approved by the software distributor who of course also denied the refund. This is total fraud!

I also have had problems with Avangate. They were happy to take my money and give me software that didn't work, but when I told them it didn't work and asked for a refund they said refunds must be approved by the software supplier, who of course denied it as well. This is total fraud!

Sound like a bunch of people running on scam paranoia. I have had complains with purchases on my credit cards and it took up to 90 days to resolve. The complaint department personnel are not sitting around twiddling their thumbs just waiting for your complaint to come to them through email.

Just sounds like you all start to panic after about a week and decide that someone has ripped you off. Get real. Any company that is a secure payment processor must have at least some integrity to remain in business. Heck, Pay Pal has 10 times more complaints about them.

The fact that someone from Avangate got on here to respond to your complaints and got them resolved makes them legitimate in my book. If they were a rip off do you think they would be here trying to get your difficulty resolved?

If you send them an email & don't hear from them in a month or two, then you can start to worry. Just because the internet gives the appearance of instant gratification, does not mean that it happens that fast in the back office of companies that provide internet based services.

Everyone just chill out a little !

In case of electronically delivered items, it may happen that Customer`s Email manager blocks certain senders and marks the respective emailing as SPAM, therefore it is always advisable to check also your BULK / SPAM folders within your email manager.

Please note that for your online order, Avangate has not received any complaint via the normal channels of communication that we provide (email and telephone). What we received directly is your Opened PayPal dispute, for which we have manually resent the licensing information for the ordered product.
Would you be so kind as in to provide Avangate with an alternative email where we can resend the licensing information? Just to be sure that it sent for your complete satisfaction.

Additionally you may retrieve the licensing information directly online by accessing the Avangate MyAccount option located at: https://secure.avangate.com/myaccount.

Hello,
I have ordered a script installation at Clip-share that use Avangate as payment gateway.
I have paid $25 for the installation.
After 10 days without a single email, i started to worry and began to report and ask for explanation.
After 15 days and nothing moving i ask for refund.
After 17 days i claim my money back at paypal but avangate, even knowing that i didn't received what i paid for refuse to do anything.
Summary after 1 month and half:
Clip-share is still not answering to me, not on their "help" desk and not by emails
Paypal Israel declare that the product is virtual (a physical work is virtual ?) and that they don't protect me on that...
I use internet (it is my job) and paypal for years and that's a story that worth to be known !

Tripard are scammers. The website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed and 30 days money back. I bought the software for $50 (the trial only allows you to do a 5 min rip so its not enough to go on) and it stated that it would take 10 hours to rip a blu ray when competitor software did it in 2 hours. I emailed them the support was nonsense and I asked for a refund. They would not give me a refund and then they said the 5 min trial secured the fact they don't have to give me a full refund. I contacted my bank and will get the money back. AVOID THEY ARE A SCAM AND THE SOFTWARE IS CRAP

they are scam...

they took my credit card front and back screen shots and did unauthorized transactions and didn't refund anything. I am still on the process of email them and asking for refund. They hardly reply. only get a reply from them saying that we are investigating the issue.

They are just fraud. Don't give confidential details to them.

it worked! after sending them the same email over 100 times, they replied (within the day), saying... well that if I don't stop emailing them they will block my email address. But at least I got a reaction from them. They said the amount is blocked in my credit card, which is not true, cause the money is out of my account, not just locked. Scammers, I really hate them right now.

So guys, just keep on sending them the same email over and over again. At least this can be our little revenge.

Anyone knows what we can do on a legal level?
