Complaint:
I purchased an ASUS laptop based on its advertised “Military Grade Durability.” These claims were the sole reason I chose this model over many other options. I needed a machine that could withstand daily use and last for years. Instead, I received a product that failed under normal conditions — clearly not living up to the durability ASUS promised.
When I contacted ASUS support, they advised me to take the laptop to an authorized expert for part replacement. While that may technically fulfill their warranty obligations, it completely misses the point: this is not just a repair issue — it’s a case of deceptive marketing.
ASUS’s promotional materials led me to believe I was investing in a rugged, long-lasting device. What I got was a fragile machine that undermines consumer trust. I’ve exchanged multiple emails with their support team, including one representative (Joseph or John), and requested escalation to a higher authority. No meaningful resolution has been offered.
I am not seeking free repairs — I am seeking accountability. ASUS must stop misleading customers with exaggerated durability claims. I urge ASUS to take this matter seriously and respond with integrity.
Sincerely,
Tamer Ghaly
