I went to Aspen Auto Clinic with my own parts for a simple transmission pan
I went to Aspen Auto Clinic with my own parts for a simple transmission pan. They were going to charge me a decent rate of 169, so I agreed since my car was already there. However, they called me to say that the bolts holding the pan were damaged and I needed new ones. They said they were doing me a favor by giving me nuts for the new pan for free, but would charge me to take the old ones off. The new price was now 249. Later, they called me again to say that the lug nuts on the front passenger tire were messed up and it was a safety hazard. I asked them to fix it, but they said they couldn't. They thought they were doing me another favor by giving me 3 quarts of oil for free, but I brought a gallon and it wasn't enough. Even with the fleet discount, I still paid over 200 dollars. They said I could pay half now and half later, but they wouldn't give me my car until I paid in full. As a disabled person on a limited income, I only receive one check a month for disability, but they didn't care.
