AMPM.com - horrible manager

I worked at the Washougal AmPm from March 30, 2016 to July 23, 2019. I was a good worker and could do my job very good. I never in all that time got any type of lunch break or 10 minute break. I worked alone 95% of the time and even corporate was shocked at that busy store that we had to work alone. In the summer months we got help 2 to 3 hours. It's right off Highway 14 and it is always busy. I suffered awful emotional and mental abuse. At that job the manager Kim Gills threatens to fire us over every little thing. No Manager never answers the phone at night to help us. I worked Swingshift and I got in trouble for the graveyard girl not showing up because I said that it was illegal to work me 16 hours with no lunch or no breaks plus they didn't even want to sit down. Kim took me off the schedule for saying that. She also made me text her that nothing illegal went on that night and if I didn't text her that I would lose my job. I did not want to text her that at all but she really pressured me into it or I would've been fired on the spot. And I also got in trouble because the graveyard girls didn't show up which was nothing to do with me. I got taken off the schedule for that. Of course anytime she got a little bit mad with no notice we would get taken off the schedule and we wouldn't get a reason why usually. My hours went from 36 to 40 a week down to 23 to 27 and usually I had no idea why. A coworker and I on our day off went somewhere together and I was talking about all the illegal stuff that goes on there. Now mind you I was on my day off, not in uniform, not clocked out and not at the store, well the coworker told Kim and Kim told me that I would be fired if I talked about her again. I reminded her it was my day off I wasn't even at work and she said it doesn't matter. If it got back to her again that I was talking about her I would be fired. So it seems to me that I was about to get in trouble for exercising my first amendment right. So it makes me wonder is Arco corporate and I'm in the entire company are you against us expressing our opinions? Another thing to you as a coworker of mine had the crap beat out of her by her husband. She came to work with bruises on her face on her head a horrific bruise on her arm also. Kim just told her to say a softball hit her. She didn't offer her any help, no resources nothing like that. So I'm not sure, it seems like domestic violence is pretty much OK I'm promoted there. So I wonder again does our cope promote domestic violence? I'm not an ex employee that is trying to get revenge at all. I mean come on who could make this stuff up? I am saddened that I lost my job. I miss my coworkers and my customers . I'm not even angry. We also have to pay back our tills when they're short, we have to pay back counterfeit money, I had to pay $35 for my shirt. I turn my shirt in two days after I was fired which would've been July 25 and I still have not got my $45 back and I've asked three times about it. There is also a camera in the kitchen where the bathroom is and we have to leave the door open to her customers come in because were always alone and that camera can see right into the bathroom. There is no kind of privacy there. Kim has sent me texts from other coworkers. People have written notes and she has showed them to other coworkers. The privacy act is nonexistent at that store. I knew the inspection was coming in one day and my coworker she timed the food for 7 PM I looked out it it looks fine to me I did not touch it again. She got off work and the inspector came 10 minutes later and he thought that all those seven PMs were for peons because Emily did write her sevens a little bit different than the rest of us. So I got fired for that over the phone. I came to work on Tuesday, July 23 I guess Kim saw the camera she saw me come in and over the phone she told me she's letting me go . And I know Washington is a no-fault state but that was terrible especially after almost 3 1/2 years of service. Our food was made on graveyard at 2 AM and we were told we better not make fresh food because I didn't want to waste it. We were taught to re-bag food and sell the same food no matter if it was 6 PM 7 PM all the way up to 9 PM. I had many customers complain that the food was not fresh and some of it was hard and I apologize to them and I did let them pick out a different one and sometimes they were good but it was embarrassing I didn't want people thinking that I was serving bad food. Plus it makes the company look very bad. And that is how we were trained. I have turned all listen to Labor & Industries for Washington state. I will be seeking legal counsel because of the emotional and mental abuse I suffered there. My anxiety was so bad I have lumps in my throat going to work but I never quit because I've had that job for so long and I don't want to start over someplace and no matter what they say I was good at my job. And I know that it's only a minimum wage paying job but I treated it like I was making $100 an hour because that job is important to me and my customers loved me. There are a couple complaints about me where my name was mentioned on our website. Not Kim tried to tell me all of them were about me but my name was only mention a couple times and she did not bring it to my attention until a year to a year and a half after the fact. And one was from a guy I didn't want to date so he was just retaliating on me. Also I've seen customers drive off with the gas pump in their car just a little ways and either I caught them or they came back and told me. In all those instances we were able to just hook the pump back up and it worked fine well the owner Kameel would charge a person $500. Even though we could hook it up and it was fine he would still charge them $500 I've seen it. This one younger kid had to bring in a $500 check for Kameel and he was almost crying. There's just a lot of underhanded, dirty, sketchy, awful stuff that goes on there and somebody needs to make them change it somehow. There was a coworker that quit and she never got her overtime pay and she filed a complaint with Labor & Industries bout it and Kim sent me the text that Jessica had sent her it's the text that talks about resigning and I will include it. She would also overpass on her check a few times a year and she would either take it out of the next check or we would have to work off the clock to pay her back. There's got to be something wrong about that. Our doorbell didn't work for a month and I tried not to drink too many liquids because I would not hear people come in the door at all. Our bathroom time was so limited it was unreal. I would have to wait till a regular customer came in and I would tell them can I use the bathroom please? And they always said of course Darla. My attendance was absolutely excellent. I did get the flu one time I wanted to days off Kim was mad at me she gave me three days off. I broke my foot earlier this year I believe in February and I have never been treated the same since then and I only took I believe three days off and I went back to Work in a boot and I just worked with a broken foot and I might've sat down once or twice but I never sat for more than a minute and they frowned on it. Something needs to be done. I just really wanted to let you guys know what was going on because that store has your name on it. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Another thing as a coworker of mine has almost paid $2000 to them and I have paid at least $700 to them. I included her text another thing as a coworker of mine has almost paid $2000 to them and I have paid at least $700 to them. I included her tax about what happen with selling cigarettes to a minor and what the tobacco and cannabis board told her. She even signed a contract with Kim about the $850 she was going to have to pay back. I included her text about it as well

AMPM.com - mental abuse in the work place

I worked at a.m. p.m. Arco in Washouga Washington from March 30, 2016 to July 23, 2019. I was fired on the 23rd for somebody else time in the food wrong. I have been in trouble and threatened to be fired for the graveyard girl not coming in and I had to work a 16 hour shift and I got in trouble for that. There's never any lunch no breaks not even during a 16 hour shift. They don't like you even sitting down for one minute. I had to pay for my uniform and I turned it in July 25 or 26 and I have still not gotten my $35 back and I've asked for it two or three times. I had to pay back counterfeit money and I had to pay back my till when it was short and I've had to pay for product that I accidentally ruined. There was hostile notes posted up by our registers and it was so bad at one time the customers were saying what a mean boss we have only the used some cuss words. It was emotional and mental abuse always threatened to be fired. I would have the greatest anxiety before work. I loved my job I loved my customers and I was very good at my job. But the boss Kim Gills was absolutely awful. They put up a camera in the kitchen & it could see right into the bathroom. We all had to leave the door open to hear customers come in as we worked alone 95% of the time. Even corporate couldn't believe we worked alone. The ONLY time I got help was in the summer from two to three hours. I have filed a complaint with labor & industries. This store does so much illegal stuff it's not funny. I've seen people drive off with gas pump in they're car & all we had to do was hook it back up. Not broke. Not damaged. But still the owner charged them $500 dollars. We have to lie to venders. One time a coworker unplugged the ice cream cool bc it was making a loud noise. She forgot to plug it back in til way later. The vender could tell they melted & froze back up. So I told him what happened. I was AGAIN threatened to be fired & pay for ALL the ice cream if I ever told the truth to any vender again. Kim would cut my hours from almost 40 down to 23-27 if I did the least little thing wrong. Well I mean if she thought I did something wrong. She did that to us all. I'd really like the CEO & the board of directors to read this please. I'm also seeking legal counsel bc this job affected me so bad. I stayed bc I was good at my job & loved my regular customers. I'm saddened by it all. Oh & quite a few times she would overpay us & take it off our next check or make us owe her hours off the clock. Ty for taking the time to read this. Plz make sure others read this. Oh, the food would be made at 2 am on graveyard & they made us rebag & retime & sell it all day long til 9 pm instead of making fresh. Many many times the customers told me it was hard or tasted old. I couldn't tell the truth or I'd be fired. Kim's 9 year old works there from time to time & runs the register. Her 2 oldest are on the payroll for 40 hours a week. One is barely there & the other comes in for maybe an hour each nite to do the books. There has been a key broke off in the door for at least 2 years now. So we couldn't lock it & put up the tiny bathroom break sign if we had to #2. So I took Amodium on a daily basis so I'd never have to use the bathroom in that way. I've aid that company back at least $700 during the time I worked there. A coworker of mine has paid back almost 2 grand
