Apollo Pharmacy review: Apollo Pharmacy in Downtown Mall, Newtown, Kolkata - Unresponsive Staff

Apollo Pharmacy in Downtown Mall, Action Area 3, Kolkata has terrible service. The staff is unresponsive and does not help customers. When I asked for assistance, they ignored me. It was very frustrating! I waited a long time but got no answers. The pharmacy needs better training for its employees to help people better. I do not recommend this place if you need good service.

I went this pharmacy in person yesterday (19Sep2026) morning around 8am to purchase medicine with doctor’s prescription. The Person attended, name Gopal Chauyle, surname spelling may have some error as he did not share his ID, he is very rude and said medicine is not available. But he did not check the stock. When I asked with another person in this Pharmacy, he checked the stock and the medicine was available and I have purchased the medicine. Gopal was very reluctant to do his service though he was on duty and put his apollo pharmacy dressed and with his ID card but kept his ID card in reversed way and did not show his card. I could not understand the reason why Gopal is being employed here since he is not doing his job and duties. He should be immediately removed from this Apollo Pharmacy. We need people here in Apollo Downtown mall pharmacy who is efficient, knowledgeable and understand the customer`s requirement and provide give service to the customer. Otherwise maintaining this pharmacy has no meaning for wasting customer’s money and time and better to close this pharmacy.
