America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses review: Scratch resistant lenses that cost extra money are absolutely not scratch resistant in the least

The last 5 pairs of glasses that I purchased from America’s Best have each cost me over $350/pair because I always get the transition lenses with impact resistant and highest level of scratch protection they offer. The first two pair were fine and after a year I had only a few scratches, but the past three got so scratch before the first month that I could no longer wear them. I used the warranty that I paid extra for to exchange for new glasses twice, but within a few months, they had so many scratches that I couldn’t wear them. When I talked to the Americas Best that I purchased them from, they tried to say that I was supposed to use a special cleaner and that I was my fault the lenses scratched so easily. Which is absolute nonsense because the reason I paid hundreds of dollars extra for the lenses was because I didn’t want to have to worry about scratching my glasses. Bottom line, they are ripping people off by charging extra money for scratch resistant lenses that are any thing but scratch resistant
