Hello. I'm writing because I'm trying to get power turned on in my name, but for some reason or another, cant. See, I filed out the form for new service online, and it said that I needed to pay a deposit and I had a past due balance that had to paid as well. Well, on Friday March 25, I called to make the payment to have the power turned on, and the lady on the phone said that ya'll had to do a verification of my landlord owning the property, I get a call from someone saying that I needed to contact someone named Shay at ext 949 with a different department. This was on Tuesday, I believe. So I call, and she told me that she needed my landlords name, which I gave her, and her telephone number. She calls my landlord, and asked a couple questions, and says she cant find her when she looks up the property. So, she says she needs proof, so my landlord emails her copies of personal property taxes, which have her name on them, but the name is different on the tax ticket. My landlords name is Tammy Stratton, but at the time of the tax ticket in question, she was married, and her name was Tammy Howard. Well Mr. and Mrs Howard didn't last, and they were divorced, and not long after, Mr. Howard passed away. Mrs. Howard returned back to her maiden name, which is Stratton. So that is the reason for the name thing. When I contact Shay, she says she still needs to talk to Tammy, so I get in touch with her, and let her know that she needed to call her again, and she did. The only thing she could do was leave a voice mail telling her to call her back so she can find out whatelse she has to do. She called her MULTIPLE times, and left MULTIPLE voicemails, but she won't call her back. This has all been going on for OVER a week, and I STILL haven't gotten power! I find it riduclous that this woman doesnt see it important enough to call someone back so that I can have electricity and finally start moving into my home. I am requesting that someone else please take over my account, because I don't think Shay at ext 949 is very concerned if I have power or not. I hope that this is not how all your employees behave. I feel like she has a personal vendetta against me, like she knows me or something. Like i said before, yes I do owe a past due bill, but I plan to pay that just as soon as this stupid verification thing is over, along with my deposit. Desired outcome: I would like for my service request to be granted ASAP. And a discount on the security deposit would be greatly appreciated. Also, a reply back to this email would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
