I lost my mobile as i was going to aslam market, suddenly i felt that my mobile was not in my pocket, and i realised that before i was going to the market, i had my my mobile in my pocket, and when i stopped for a little moment to check whether my mobile was in my pocket or not and then my mobile was not in my pocket. i called the number which sim was inserted([protected]) and it as responding but not answering, and in the night when i re-caled my number it was powered off, so i knew some one had took my mobile. i have sent an email to [protected]@vsnl.com and i hope for the best.

Internet Scam
I paid for a VIP membership to itunes on Christmas because I was trying to set up an account with them. I paid $35.01 for it & received nothing as well. No one seems to know how to get a hold of them. I had a phone number on my paypal receipt:

I had a difficult time getting through to someone. I had to call back 4 times before I talked to someone. The automated system said agents were available 24/7 and kept telling me to leave a message, once it hung up on me.
After searching for information I founds a mobile phone company in Pakistan with that name.
But as far as I can tell the Web site does not reflect the "company" I paid...
The e-mail address included in my receipt was:

which took me to a purchase agreement for that company. The company was a grill and stove store, and this was not the "company" I paid either...

Looks like I have been duped in the same way way your previous complainants have. I googled "Google Earth" to obtain free download but was also offered 3 years upgrade to "Google Earth Plus", after being directed to Advance Telecom Inc site via Google. I paid $20.55 through Paypal on 23rd Dec, but needless to say, I did not receive any software download nor have I had any luck in contacting Advance Telecom Inc since.
If only I had come across your website sooner I could have been forewarned. I do not expect to see my money again however I hope the sheer number of complaints made will eventually help to close down this website.
I do not understand how these scammers have been allowed to operate for so long ( at least 9 months going by your list of complaints ) without anyone being able to do anything about it.
I do not think that that Google or Paypal come out of this with any credit however I can only blame myself for being so naive and trusting.

Unauthorized billing
Advance Telecom Inc. portrays to be google earth among many other shareware (freeware) software sites they charged me $68.74 for a 3yr membership and is charging many, many other consumers millions of dollars for something that they can get for nothing. The Government should step in and do something cause I believe they have the technology to track them down and have them pay (jail time) and return all the money that they ripped off from us folks I believe are victims all around the world.

Paid by Pay Pal for three years service for ADAWARE Security --- and did not receive promised download instructions.
I logged on to Google to get maps - street view
I was then directed to pay for a 3 year sub for $56AUD
Account setup was requested presumably for Google. I went to google to login and account did not exist. This Fraud.
I paid for 3 years of AVG Internet security and never received download. Took my money from Paypal. SO much for security programs.
This company misleads you into thinking their site is the portal to Google Earth ...also, I hanen't received any downloads
I signed up for 3 years of google earth and never received confirmation of it on my computer. I was charged 67.84$ on my credit card on 11/08/08, but have never received what I was told . I was scammed and would like my money back and credited to my credit card please or I will have to report this to the Better Business Bureau. thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I paid for 3 years VIP membership for Softwaer Nero burnin 8 (US$66.74) through paypal... I assumed a Cd was going to be sent as I asked for it to be delivered 6to me. After 3 weeks nothing arrived so I sent an email to sales@ulimited.com asking where my CD was. All I keep getting back is an automated response saying where to download the software. Beware of that scam!

this software will NEVER be sent to you. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! While attempting to download a friend recommended software I was scammed by this company. I have filed a complaint with paypal to request a refund.
I paid 29.88 to get movie downloads for my mp3 player and I was in formed that I would get an email with the download
link. I never received the email. I paid for the downloads with Pay Pal. I don't know what to do next. I'll see if Pay Pal can help me. The payment went through on 12/26/08.
I have paid through paypal for adobe flash player membership plus one other feature and have been sent a email which I can't download from their information
Fraud and cheating
It was represented by Advance Telecom, Inc. that I was buying Nero 8, the download and 1-year update subscription, and download registry repair. After the PayPal checkout and clicking 'return to download'. The screen went blank. I entered several messages to the e-mail address in PayPal and was sent a bogus URL. When in the Windows Update website, I put in the URL and received an expired Demo version of Nero 8. I e-mailed the company to no avail. I put in a claim with PayPal and was sent the bogus URL for Nero 8 again, then a generic DVD/CD burner. After a couple more responses from me that I 'purchased Nero 8 and expect Nero 8' I received notice from PayPal that a refund was issued and on temporary hold until the funds clear. Hopefully that means a real refund and not more run-around. But it looks like they took my PayPal complaint seriously and I am not out $40. Perhaps they are trying to clear their name? Whew!

I have the same problem with the other complainants with Advance Telecom. I paid $44.96, purportedly for a 3 year membership for a on-line virus scanner and an accelerator but didn't receive the product. I wrote to ask for a refund but didn't hear back from them. Below are the transaction details:

I too now see that I was scammed by this bunch of goobers. Same M/O, $35.01 charge on the screen for 3 yr VIP membership (with upgrades) for the" AVAST HOME" antivirus software download. No download instructions provided or available. No email response and that site also locked up my computer during this time as well. I'm just now disputing the charge thru my bank. Some folks need to go to jail for this scam!

A friend of mine had a similar problem. He had problems with viruses and tried to download ZoneAlarm and ended up paying Advanced Telecom for software that did nothing. Same phone situation [protected] and answered somewhere in the middle east. I'm guessing since his computer was already infected he's being redirected to a phony website regardless what software he was trying to download. The pages looks convincing, but, not the same. Very clever scam which I believe is a part of a virus or spyware attack.
I'm in Ohio, USA. Thought I was getting SpyBot Search and Destroy antispyware. Got some sign-up page that looked legit. I thought this software was free, but I was in a hurry. Called the number I had [protected] and got some guy in Pakistan (I think). He says funds will be refunded. Will wait and see.

Advance Telecom Inc ripped me off using Google Earth 4.3 as the bait and sucked me in to purchasing a 3 Year membership which included "unlimited software download & support". They make it seem as if they are selling a subscription to Google Earth Plus when in actuality they are not providing anything which is not available free of charge from Google. Indeed, they never even provided me with a link to download Google Earth 4.3. They use a video created by Google to demonstrate the capabilities of Google Earth 4.3; but then, when you click on the link to download that program, you are taken to their order page which lists their "membership" choices. I have lodged a complaint with Paypal (and await the outcome) and suggest that everyone who uses Paypal to buy anything through these people file a complaint also.

On 24/05/08 I was tricked into buying a 'membership' to members-site.net, apparently run by Advance Telecom Inc. for US$68.74. As they worked through PayPal I supposed they were bona fide. But the only thing they seem to provide is "freeware" downloadable for free anywhere. I think this is a ripoff.

I got ripped off for $49.96 for what I deemed to be a New edition of a new Office Program. After paying through Paypal I was redirected to Open Office 0rg. to download the program I already had.

they have received in the neighborhood of between 250 and 300 calls over the past year on this "Advance Telecom, Inc" scam company. They are tired of the calls to them as well, I am sure. If Paypal does not resolve this issue with this company and pay people back their money upon doing so, they will suffer in the end. In fact, I encourage each and all of you who posted on here and who are reading this NOW... contact Paypal and let em know what you think, and more importantly, NEVER do business with crooked Paypal either, UNLESS they credit our money back and hunt down the real scammer in all of this. I am done for good with Paypal, and will warn against them now after praising them early on to others I know.
I was just scammed by Advance Telecom Inc.. I ordered Roxio and didn't get it. They got me through PayPal as well. The download I put on my computer after purchase was not Roxio (although you couldn't tell until AFTER it was already installed) and doesn't work. I was told there would free support and updates, etc. for 2 years and all you get is an online customer support link which I know will not answer my questions. Even reading the wording on the thing that WAS installed, I could tell it wasn't created by anyone who could speak English. I am ticked off. Making a complaint to PaayPal. I don't know how I was redirected to order this to this company since I went on the Roxio site to purchase. Needless to say I am NOT happy about this turn of events.

Advanced telecom inc. is a big rip off. Paypal has also been contacted by me and I will see that these jerk-offs pay for taking advantage of everyone. Got me for 33.00 and no download for Roxio as promised.
I was also ripped off by this company. I was directed to download Torrent to search for movies and it won't connect with my computer. I am lodging a complaint with Paypal. Am also emailing Advance Telecom and will see if they bother to even reply.
Ripoff for &free& pdf reader software
On Sept 23, 2008 I was tricked by Advance Telecom into purchasing "free" pdf reader software. I was led into purchasing i year membership (or else there was no way of reaching the download site). This company masks itself under Adobe's name: AdobeAcrobat.Official-2008.com. I have tried unsuccessfully to retrieve my money.
I purchased Adobe Flash player from Advance Telecom, Inc. through Pay Pal and was ripped off $49.96. I contacted Pay Pal and they will not do anything about it.
False representation of another company
While I was setting up my Mp4 player. This company said I needed a 3 year plan in payment of 49.90 for apple/ipod support. It has been confirmed that I was scammed out of my money.

Scam!
My computer error messaged me that it could not find Macromedia Flash. I googled and located Advance Telecom Inc. as a provider for this software. I paid $49.90 USD as payment for this software. All that I received in return was an acknowledgment by e-mail that my payment was processed. I received no instructions for downloading or installation.
I believe that I have been duped by an internet scam.

Advance Telecom offered 8.5 AVG Virus Detection program and required payment of $69.14 then sent via e-mail a web site address for download that would not work, I called the customer support listed on the download page and was given an alternate web address that also did not work. Have been unable to obtain the program I paid for. Beware of this company I do not believe they are legitimate.
I was looking for Spybot Search and Destroy, which is free, on the Internet. I clicked on this item, and I saw a price of $11.
I was puzzled, clicked that I wanted one...was charged an unauthorized charge of fifty dollars. Was angry as hell. Call customer service number. This is a scam by Advance Telecom, ripping off the name of Spybot Search and Destroy, which is freeware, and donations are optional.

In 2008 my son bought 1 time ring tone. He never recieved the tone and the company has been charging my account 19.99 per month since 2008. I have tried to cancel this transaction with my bank to put a stop payment on that dollar amount, then telecom will change the dollar amount by 1 penny. We have had numberous calls and research and we have not been able to locate this scam. This company is ripping people off.
I purchased an option to download music through my pay pal account and never received the ability to access the ares.com website. When I called the number on my invoice it refers me to a website that doesn't exist.
Bought adobe reader 9 from them online through paypal. Could have downloaded it for free. Their receipt via email is a phishing scam, hotmail won't open it.

Everyone is posting complaints about Advance telecom, but who has done something against this false company. We need to take real action against it. Lets all try to research who they are lets get them. i was taken by paying 34.95 for a Skype membership. Skype is a free download.
I will begin my venture to end this company today.
