Hello,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Kaufman Avenue location in Fairborn, Ohio.
I recently visited this store to purchase a new car battery that was advertised online as including free installation. The store also has signage on the door stating that battery installation is free.
I have previously purchased two batteries from this same location for the same vehicle, and both times the staff installed them without any issue. I was also informed in the past that when purchasing a new battery from your store, installation would be provided.
However, during my most recent visit, after purchasing a new battery, an employee named Jonathan informed me that they do not install batteries at this location. Both he and another employee refused to assist with installation.
Because of this, I was forced to go elsewhere to have the battery installed — which took less than five minutes.
This was extremely disappointing and inconvenient, especially since the service was clearly advertised and previously provided to me at this same store.
I am requesting clarification of your battery installation policy and an explanation as to why this advertised service was refused.
