Acima review: Jewelry

DO NOT LOAN OR PURCHASE FROM ACIMA We need the United state whatever department that helps with this kind of issue to remove acima from servicing anyone

I bought a jewelry worth 3000 usd that I was told by the store that acima offers loan with no interest if paid fully in 90 days.

I was told to apply I had to pay 75 usd I did. At this point I was thinking why not use my credit card as 75 dollars will be the fee for a month with 3000 balance. I should have followed my instinct.

I went ahead and thought it might be a good deal since that should be all I’m paying (keeping in mind I intend to pay off)

Come first payment I was charged then I decided to make an extra payment of 400

ALAS 24 dollars was added as tax I then went to see my payments and realize they added taxes. I already paid taxes in these items at the time of purchase and it was already added to the 3k loan. I then called the customer service to cancel the 424 as I would like to pay off with my credit card.

I was told they can’t cancel the payment I made literarily minutes ago. WHICH COMPANY DOES THAT!

They calculated my payoff and I will be paying 3,3000 to pay off right now.

Guys the jewelry I got was two weeks ago for 3000Usd and in two weeks I’m paying acima 3300 they will be gaining 300 in two weeks.

I would never have paid a 300 interest with my credit card in 3 months!
