Nerdwallet Nerdwallet was the only FHA mortgage calculator that included the PMI insurance, allowing me to nearly accurately

Nerdwallet was the only FHA mortgage calculator that included the PMI insurance, allowing me to nearly accurately determine my monthly costs. Additionally, I have found their reviews of things such as insurance companies to be well- researched and balanced. I've been able to make successful, well-informed decisions in conjunction with their reviews and other financial information. 5 stars for their efforts and execution!

Nerdwallet I just signed on to check emails and received a message thanking me for signing up

I just signed on to check emails and received a message thanking me for signing up...apparently the same complaint was filed by another user who did not realize they too had signed up. I do not want their service or app and certainly feel alarmed that the company's explanation to the other compliant deflects responsibility solely on the the party who is unexpectedly signed up. Please explain to me how I too have been signed up by taking some obscure link or option. Again I did not intentionally opt to sign up. PLEASE help me in getting removed from this app or whatever it is.

I somehow got signed up for emails when I didn't sign myself up. When I click "unsubscribe" on their e-mail, there is no option to unsubscribe on the page that comes up, so I am still constantly getting e-mails.

I saw a link to a site with a debt consolidation calculator. Within the calculator, it had a link saying "check your free credit score". When you click on the link, it takes you to a page that says options for how Nerdwallet can help you. It automatically signs you up for a Nerdwallet account without your knowledge and then you get an email with your new account you didn't sign up for. It also does not give you the free credit score as it says in this link. This should be considered fraud.

This website gives you a 'free' quote on mortgage rates only after putting in personal data that is irrelevant to a mortgage rate. Then they sell your phone number, and other information to companies that have nothing to do with their services. That is ridiculous and a breach of privacy. Other companies manage to give the same quotes, and more without doing this.

I keep getting emails from Nerdwallet about "my account" and extending loan offers. I never intentionally signed up for an account and perhaps it was via a sneaky link. I cannot get through to the "company." I want to delete my "account" and unsubscribe from getting emails.

I keep receiving emails from Nerd Wallet. I never signed up for them. I click on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of their message but it just takes me to another page that has their various offerings for loans...it appears that they will not allow me to unsubscribe unless I create an account with them first! I want them to stop contacting me immediately!

NerdWallet has essentially made it impossible to opt out of emails, has thanked me for joining NerdWallet when attempting to unsubscribe, and makes it impossible to see who the affiliate links are to unsubscribe to those. I do not want them to have my information, to contact me, to sell my information, or have any further interaction with me. This is harassment.
