On 7/26/23, I submitted a request for assistance at approximately 220p due to a flat tire. I requested assistance to put my spare tire on, not a tow. The app submitted my request and advised I could expect assistance to be in route around 3p. At approx. 250p, the app updated and assigned a person showing he was approx. 25-30 minutes away. At 3p my request went back into queue. I called AAA directly at 305p and was advised that person unassigned my request due to their truck breaking down and I was back in queue waiting for someone else. I waited until 4p with no update and called AAA back, this time I was advised that a manager was looking into my request and was going to call me back shortly. 430p, still no call so I called AAA back. This time the rep. apologized I had not been contacted yet and advised they would escalate. 450p still no call so I called back and asked for a supervisor. While speaking with the supervisor, I was advised that there was no one available to assist me with changing a flat tire and asked if I wanted to be towed... no as that is not what I was asking for assistance with. She also advised I could find my own help and then submit receipts for a refund which is ridiculous because what am I paying for with a membership with AAA. She advised she would keep my ticket open for assistance in case anyone should become available. At 930p! I received a call from AAA customer service advising they see my ticket has been opened for 7 hours and asked if I still needed help. Luckily I found help with family or I would have been stranded for over 7 hours in 90 degree weather with my kid. I live 25 minutes from Raleigh, NC so no, I was not in a super remote area. There really is no excuse.

Desired outcome: I would like my annual membership refunded.
