On tonight’s School spectacular (9 Dec, 9.30pm), watched by families who want to see themselves, friends and family members, the Lotto numbers were screened. It was unnecessary that gambling was promoted as part of the program. The broadcasting code, which 7 breached during Olympic coverage 2 years ago, was also breached here. “Broadcasters are restricted from showing gambling advertising during their coverage of live sporting events shown between 5am and 8:30pm. We started watching The Voice Kids Christmas ep1 last night. We turned it on again tonight, while cooking dinner, my daughter was keen to watch it.

During the first 2mins of adverts was a beer advert and a vodka advert. Seriously this is a kids program. We’ve just had home and away advert with dramatic crash scenes. Seriously what is this. I’m really mad with Chanel 7 for this. Surely alcohol shouldn’t be included in Kids shoes. This is so wrong.

I am trying to watch a show, an advertisement comes one, whatever i think, its some ad for a breath mint and then it shows two women kissing.

I do not under any circumstances want to see any homosexual kissing or sexual content. It is disgusting and I should not be subject to it.

Frankly I am incredibly upset that you would show such things where children could possibly be watching a tv show or movie.

Watched 7+ Series Private Practice for 2 nights and both nights TV Ads shown every 8 minutes during the program, for 2 mins 30 seconds at a time (some times vary). 24 Nov 2022 Program total time 56 minutes. Before program started 30 second Ad break, started to watch program from 7.46 - 7.52pm 6 minutes, Ad break 2 mins 49 seconds. 7.54 - 8.02 pm program, Ad break. 8.02 to 8.10pm program, Ad break 2 min 31 seconds. 8.13 to 8.19pm program, 2 min 05 secs Ads. 8.21 - 8.29pm program 2 min 30 secs Ads. 8.31 - 8.38pm program 2min 30 secs Ads. 8.40 - 8.47pm program 3 min 8 secs Ads. 8.50pm to 8.57 program ended. Program great to watch, but the ads all the time are off-putting. 7+ have many great programs and have been watching them for some time, but with so many ads lately, it is not worthwhile watching anymore.

I finally have found Longmire, your ads take up a lot of data. 4 days into my peak data and it is half used. I wrote down the number of ads on one day and there were 20 in one session of Longmire. Next day 17, then 19. I don't need a Lexus, or Hello Fresh or Morning Fresh or IGA or pain relief etc etc. I am on a farm and just would like some quiet time on my computer without ads. Even if you put them all together just once, in the middle of the show then we could have a tea and pee time while they are on. I understand they create money for you but you must understand it is not really Free to Air with the data that it uses.

I don't watch Olympics o TV. I have ZERO interest. Imagine my frustration with the 7plus app, showing the same ad, with still shots of athletes, an annoying fake crowd sound in the background. I have to constantly exit the app so it actually ends. Next ad, repeat above steps. I am just trying to watch a show, not have to exit the app every single time.

There is an ad about a deodorant (brand - Tradie) where two half naked men are spraying each other while moaning and groaning while building to a climax. This is an inappropriate ad for family viewing and I found it sexualised and had nothing to do with deodorant...

Our children had never seen that kind of behaviour before, this is unexceptionable for family viewing programs.

Watching Beverly Hills Pawn series I have noticed that some of the programs have been cut when it goes to an advertisement and goes straight to a new series very annoying.

To many ads when steaming a show every 2 minutes it’s wrong and not good to watch we don’t even like shows that are on 7 anymore cause of it

Your 7+ app enters an ad loop, which repeatedly plays the same ads for 2-3 minutes and frequently repeats. It was really bad about a year ago, but it seemed to improve before returning to this repeat mode. When I turn on the news, I frequently miss 30% of the content due to advertisements, and no, it does not resume where it left off, I've confirmed this using both regular signal and your app. Also, it often repeats the same advert 3-4 times.

My google home listens to the tv and takes over when it asked to play vivo or stranger things on Netflix.
This is very annoying that ad.
It should not happen.

I'm watching a program on catch up and have got about 30 back to back advertisements for alcohol. I have friends that are suffering sober alcoholics. This is appalling!

Hi I really don't like the fact that I go onto 7plus to watch something and there's 50 million ads I think it is absolutely ridiculous it is getting to the point where I'm not going to be watching channel 7 let alone 7plus and no doubt I'm not the only person complaining about this situation. I don't have a date as it is every time I watch 7plus and it is really getting annoying I don't go on to the website or app to watch ads!

is there any chance of fixing this?

Having a 3minute ad block for every 10minutes of playtime on tv series is ridiculous. It is literally worse than the free version of YouTube. My wife and I tried to watch Ravenswood and couldn't get through the first episode due to the frustrating nature of the current setup. If 7 has any dignity it will cut the ads down by half at least.

WELL DONE 7plus, some form of forewarning would have been nice at least then I would have had time to watch a few more episodes and get to the end of season 2 before you discontinued the show

Enough with the ads, we go online to watch something and it's ruined by ads all the time! Also very repetitive. This is the reason why I hate using 7plus. Long ads too I might add.
I get maybe 1 ad at the start of the show but throughout the whole episode countless amount of ads! Enough is enough! Also problem with the app on chrome cast. Keeps crashing every time it comes to the ads.

All other station my tv does not have to sign in to get the show, but 7 plus is a problem all the time!,

Your technician in charge should be dismissed/fired immediately because of his laissez-faire attitude and obviously nonchalant approach to public viewing.
The 7+ app is used tentatively with prayer in breath as you launch
...secretly knowing it will take at least three frustrating attempts before you are allowed to watch Cairns News.
The entire app is a disgrace and although Channel 7 did a magnificent job with the Olympics I believe you should go out on top.
Sack all those responsible for the delivery of the 7+ buffering [censored] app.

I just want to express my umbrage for the incomplete coverage of softball throughout the games. It is always being cut short. If we cannot watch the end of of a game, why bother at all...
