the app itself? it’s honestly rlly good & i like reading all the comics! the pricing and coins? you guys should probably work on it. first i would like to say that instead of buying a certain amount of coins for a super high price, you guys should probably do.. something like a premium.
for example. you guys could do premium like the app “roblox” does! for a certain amount
of time we can pay a certain amount of money. and that way for that time all the stories would be free. for the ppl that don’t like spending money on apps like me! an example: 10$ a month for episode unlocking! basically what i’m saying is that all the episodes will be unlocked since you have premium instead of buying all those coins! (sorry if that was confusing) and moving on.. pricing. the prices are WAYY too high. i get that you guys need to find a way to make money off your app but maybe your prices shouldn’t be so high. like maybe 5$ for 100 coins. because at the moment you have to pay over 100$ just to unlock one whole story! don’t you think that’s a little too pricey? maybe try lowering your prices and try something like premium! maybe more ppl will then start to buy coins ! oh, and one more thing.. the “free coin zone” it doesn’t even work :( i’m very disappointed in that.. anyways , thank you for reading this, and please use my suggestions :)

As said in the title, the comics are great! They keep me hooked and I always want to keep reading, but then there’s a pop up that asks for coins. It’s bothersome to keep on having to do things and surveys that don’t even pay you! I’ll do a quiz that takes up my time only to not be credited coins later! It’s completely tiring and I wasted time on doing something that it wouldn’t even reward me for! Plus there’s all these surveys too and that’s the actual only way you gain coins! They ask for your personal information and they make me feel very uncomfortable. There’s also ones where you have to sign up for something and pay money, when you could just do that for a few measly coins. It’s so tiring to keep on sparing my time and stopping In the middle of my reading just to go fish for coins that I won’t even get. That is why I like webtoon much more because you only have to pay for early access if you want it, but this one forces you because they need revenue. Here are some ways to solve that: 1, have ads or have to listen to ads in order to read the next comic. 2, be like webtoon where you have to pay for early access. 3, fix the intrusion of information and have easier ways to get coins. 4, have to watch an ad to get coins. 5, have memebership where people can pay to be allowed early access or coins per month. I hope you read this because this is the main reason your app gets so many bad ratings.

I’ve always seen many ads for the only comic I read on here and I’m honestly glad I started reading it. I’m reading secret alliance and it’s absolutely amazing and entertaining, I don’t know if I should say this but I genuinely think that all these amazing authors should move to a better app (webtoon) LezhinComics really needs to up their game! I mean this app has some amazing authors with some amazing stories but I’ve lost interest in reading them seeing all the coin ads. The coins are ridiculously over priced and there’s just so many times that I felt like if I hadn’t payed attention to what I was doing in the app ( because of quickly wanting to click on what I’m reading ) I could’ve been tricked into actually buying those ridiculous coins or even doing other things that could damage my phone! ( this one button said that if I presses it, it would see all my information from all my other apps! What the heck! ) i don’t recommend this app to anyone because you will most likely fall in love with the stories but it means you will also suffer :( if any of the beautiful authors or even future authors are reading this, please try moving to a different app! Trust me on this... this app does not deserve you at all, go somewhere where your talents won’t be wasted and if you’re staying on here because you could benefit from all the scams then stay but at the end of the day that just makes you a bad person...

I honestly like this app. It’s a nice interface. The comics I’ve read here are amazing. They have a large variety, good plots and beautiful art. So why the 1 star?
The company.
I don’t really understand what they’re trying to pull. But I’ve never seen such expensive comics in my life. We’re talking paying over $100 for a book. The regular priced coins are $4.99 for 20c. Episodes are usually 3c. And a comic is usually over 60ep long. Yea…it get very expensive really quickly. The worse part and the reason why im writing this review is because they used to have a system in which you could collect coins three days a week and eventually you could buy ONE episode for free a week. Well they decided last week thats way too much for free and now they implemented this system in which you do daily missions (ie. read a chapter) and you get a free coin. Everyone was excited since they said it would be 3 missions daily. Well they lied. It’s just two. Maybe. Oh and you cant save the bonus coins cuz they expire in a day. So you cant ever save up to buy an episode for free. You can only either read 2c episodes or spend actual $$$. It’s greedy and weirdly manipulative. A lot of other comic and story reading apps have either a daily advertising (free point/coins/ink/dias) system or you can gain coins by some other method. Not Lezhin. They want your cash and they want you to pay. Also, they inflate US prices compared to their Korean counterparts.

I’m not paying 30 coins per chapter I’m just not. If this is the direction this app is going then I’m done. It’s a shame because there are so many comics on here I love and I want to support the author and continue the stories but the developers have gotten extra greedy at this point. The amount of real world money it costs just to buy small amounts of coins is way higher than any other webtoon app I use. the free coin system is a joke. i don’t want to give away private information for products and services I don’t need just so I can get the amount of coins we should be getting when we pay for them. I would rather pay a reasonable monthly fee like Manta and then have unlimited free reading. Even on Tapas you have to pay per episode but it’s still within reasonable pricing. $9.99 on Tapas gets you basically 10,500 ink and they also give you a chance to win ink for free without having to give your info away doing surveys and signing up for services. Webtoons is mostly free unless you chose to buy coins to fast pass $9.99 will get you 108 coins but the fast pass episodes only cost between 5-7 coins. Lezhin $9.99 gives you 440 coins but each episode now costs 30. This is crazy it’s like you want to drive everyone away from using your app/site. You clearly didn’t listen or just don’t care about what people were saying about pricing before this update because you just doubled down and made it even worse. I’m honestly pretty bummed out. You guys have some quality content but this is too much.

So I enjoy all the comics on this app, I think they are thoroughly made and well put together. And yes I agree that the writers and artists and what not, should get paid for this, I mean (in my eyes), these are basically books ppl take time out of their day to make. But the prices are pretty high. I’m only 13 and I enjoy reading these comics a lot, but I can’t just use a credit card and buy all the episodes cause I don’t have one. Not many people on this app do. And yes I know they have a way to earn free coins. But the other thing is that, they only have that on the app. So if I were to go into the website I would have to pay. Well that shouldn’t be a problem right, ya know cause the app and website have all the same comics on it that u can read. Wrong. I want to read a bl comic. However I can’t find it on the actual app, and I have no idea why. I’m not sure if I’m just stupid or the artists/writers can somehow not allow that. And if so, I thinks that’s pretty dumb. I understand you want and need money from creating these comics..that’s perfectly understandable. But why can’t all the same comics be included in both the app and website. It’s not like people still don’t pay for the episodes. Cause truthfully, earning the free coins takes time...time some people don’t have or don’t want to waste. So they will just buy the coins instead. That’s why I can’t decide whether this is a good app or not! Lezhin please try and fix this. Or someone reach out to me and explain why some comics only show up on the website that don’t on the app.

When I first downloaded the app I was enticed by everything it was all working smoothly and when you look at the description from discover it will it will inform you whether or not the comic is free or if you have to pay for it. Naturally I was confused onto why but, I didn’t mind at the moment, because I kept seeing ads previous to downloading the app for the comic The Lady and her Buttler. It said free on the description, so when I got to around episode 34 it said I have to pay for coins which I didn’t know what they were or for, so I thought well how hard/ expensive can it be? When I looked I found no chances to get them for free which you can do sometimes by watching ads or playing games, however that was not the case, instead I find that I can’t only just by one at a time I have to buy them in bulk. For 4.99 US dollars I can get 17 coins but that’s still pricey for an app, just to get coins to read. The apps highest offer for coins is 149.99 US dollars for 620 coins but who would spend that much for this app. I could literally buy a Ps4 or even an Xbox 1 for less money.
In total I find the app preposterous because of it’s expensive and unjustified prices. Not only that sometimes the comics will just freeze or wont load so, it you like ready things only halfway through I suggest you get the app on the other hand if you dislike reading half or a comic I suggest you go to a better app such as WEBTOON, not only is the app free it doesn’t making you pay for episodes. All you must do is watch a video at the beginning of every other chapter.

Man, these reviews are so entitled, expecting a business to give everything away for free. They whine about having to pay for a product of a great deal of hard work, not just on behalf of the author/artist (often multiple people) (who, sure, work for recognition, but also to make a living, hello), but the translators, and website/legal/publishing staff. Who cares if you have ~recognition~ if you struggle every month to pay rent and put food on the table? I’m so frustrated with how lame people are—they want a luxury (entertainment, especially of this sort, is absolutely a luxury) for no cost? How stupid?

Their (admittedly very buggy) coin zone is also, as far as I can tell, developer by a third party (that other apps use (and have the same bad offers for)), and so problems with it or it’s offerings are not really ... Lezhin’s fault lol

Setting aside the sort of selfishness that’ll never really be resolved because people love to make excuses for themselves, the art and many of the stories are really beautifully done, and Lezhin sets a good standard for the digital comic publishing industry. The currency is reasonably priced, especially when there’s a sale, considering the quality of work (being manhwa, often in full color) and the ability to access it anytime, anywhere. The app is made for the phone, so tablet use is a bit clunky, but oh well. At that point, one might as well just use the site; it’s fairly well-optimized for mobile use anyway. I’ve used the website for over a year now, I believe, and will continue to do so as long as I enjoy their work.

I personally love this app and think it has amazing stories to read and beautiful art. I don’t really mind that much paying because it going toward profit for someone’s hard work! They app creators/ developers have even tried to fix and improve on the problem by giving some coins for certain comics, having free chapter after a certain amount of time on some popular comics, and even putting up deals and discounts very often! Even after all this people still complain? I personally would like to thank you for putting up deals often since it doesn’t put that much of a strain on my bank account. This is one of my top apps and I use it a lot and I’m actually pretty content with this the app. But even so, my only complaint is the “Free Coin Zone”. I occasionally use it when I don’t want to waste a lot more money or just to not pay real money from time to time and I understand it helps with profit from the ads and such, but omgosh that systems/offer board is filled with scams! I know my review might not have much affect, but if I do in some I think if you made your own system it’d be way better! You could do some thing the same system does, but differently! For example videos and downloading apps is much better and I’ve actually kept some apps I’ve downloaded from there. At least it’s better than the offers up there like, “Take a survey!”, “Spin the wheel!”, and my personal favorite “Claim your free samples!” (personally haven’t liked this system from the start, but it still helps in a way). Either way, I personally really like the app, besides the free coin system!

This app is amazing ! I kept seeing it on YouTube and the comics looked really interesting so I downloaded it. “The maid and the vampire” was what caught my eye. I’m glad they gave me a few free chapters, but I’m the type to finish a book in a day or two but I couldn’t do that because I had no coins.
I feel we should have a few starting coins, maybe like 6 to read 2 more chapters. The daily check in thing either goes to your points and to bonus coins but it depends which day which is kind of frustrating. It is unfair to those who would really want to read the comics made my hard working authors but HAVE to pay for the coins just to do so. I myself spent a little money on coins just to continue reading only to get upset cause I didn’t wanna waste my money every minute just because I can’t finish a comic. The free coin surveys and quizzes don’t work at all.
I feel you guys she really take into consideration with putting ads, anyone will be willing to watch them even if you get 1 coin. You can do a 30 second ad for 1 coin , 1 minute ad for 2 coins , and 1 minute and 30 second ad for 3 coins. For those willing to watch ads although people don’t like ads there is a HUGE possibility they’ll watch it to be able to read the comic. And you’ll also be getting money from advertising on your app. Yes there is some comics where you can just read for free but the days even range to more then a week and that isn’t fair at all .

But I really love this app it’s really hard to be able to read the comics that right smack on the front page as soon as you open the app. :(

Lehzin publishes dozens of great, diverse,manga/manhwa; Out of all the manga apps, they have the best selection (I read a lot of BL, and they deliver). Now the negative part, just like it’s been said In other reviews:the pricing. I understand their method of giving you a few chapters free to give you a preview of the content, then locking the rest as pay to read. I get it and I don’t think it’s unfair in the slightest, however the price of the coin bundles are crazy. I am more than willing to pay for quality content, as I have done on other sites(renta, tapas, webcomics and also on Lehzin) but the others are way more reasonable on their pricing of their coins vs. how many coins each chapter requires to unlock. Also, you might as well get rid of that free coin zone, the challenges are almost impossible to get 100% or you have to make a purchase, which for that, I’d buy coins. Lastly, the expiration of the free coins, giving sometimes only a week to use (it takes a week for a new chapter to drop!)is downright stingy. As well as locking the free chapters you already allowed us to read. I bought the other chapters only to come back and see I’m missing 3 chapters! Come on! I think the majority of the negative comments are completely ridiculous, literally saying they should be able to read for free. Do you eat for free? Probably, since it’s most likely your parents buying the food, considering most of you are literal children. The authors need to make a livelihood, get over your entitled way of thinking.

First and foremost, I love the content Lezhin has and I’m so happy it’s available in the US! However, as I’ve seen many reviews, there are some major flaws that make it a less than desirable choice for reading comics.
My main issue is that the coin packages feel unreasonable, though compared to other apps/websites, the price to unlock episodes is cheaper. As a struggling college student, I usually don’t have extra funds to spare, and Lezhin has some of the highest fees for coins. I think it’d be nice if there were more ways to get free coins, kinda like how WebComics gives ample opportunities to get free coins, even if the amount of coins is small. Just being on the app for an hour gets you almost 100 coins for example.
That being said, I know artists must be paid for their work and such but if Lezhin partnered with other apps for commercials for free coins, or did something like Tapas where an episode is released for free every week, but if you want to read ahead you pay X amount of coins, that would make Lezhin a better option (loose suggestions).
My other main issue is that for the mature comics you can only read them on the website. I’ve seen commentary that it’s due to following App Store rules or something, but there are similar apps that have an option in settings to turn mature content on/off, and I think this app would greatly benefit from providing this feature. OR, make it easier to “transfer” these different comics to the app from the website.
Overall, if some of these features were apart of the app I would give it 5 stars hands down! I hope that eventually some of these flaws will be addressed.

I just downloaded the app, and i already see a few compilations. I've already read a few beginning chapters for some comics. After reading some chapters i wanted to continue reading, but you have to use coins. Now I don't want to have to spend like $10 on a few coins that I will only get a few chapters for me to read. But then there is that free coin getting system they have. Now why would i waste my time playing a game that might take at least 5 days to finish the task, and only get one coin? In my opinion, i don't think anyone would do that, thats why this app doesn't have very good reviews. They have amazing comics that are worth reading but the coin problem is stopping readers from enjoying there comics. To improve the review and to have more people actually keep the app on their electronic device, this is an idea to help with the coin problem. For Lezhin Comics- If you had a new coin system like Mangatoon or Webcomics, this app would definitely have more people on it. Like those apps, when readers check in everyday let them get coins everyday. The amount can vary depending on the day and how many days in a row they've checked in or gotten on the app. But you could also add a feature to have short 30 second adds for people to watch to earn coins easily. Then just have a timer in between every time they watch an add, from the next time they can watch one, to get more coins. This is just my opinion and idea to help improve complications for the people reading and the people having to deal with complaints about the coin problem. If your still reading my review, im sorry it was so long, but thank you for actually taking the time to read it. So personally I think the art and plot of the comics are great... but, after a certain number of episodes the app doesn’t let you read any further without spending coins.

Coins are the apps virtual version money, but the catch is you have to spend real money to get them. For every chapter you have to pay a certain amount of coins. A lot of these have close to 100 chapters. This is just me, but as someone who intends to use an app like this a lot and a fast reader at that, the money I would be spending on this would build up it. Also I don’t think that I’m in the ideal financial situation to be spending money on something like this.

That’s my take on the cons for this app and as for the pro’s, the comics themselves are beautiful. I read a few chapters into one and I would have absolutely kept on reading... but I had to pay for every chapter and there were about 80. I think the plots of a lot of these are really good as well as the art, and they remind me of professionally drawn manga, with just a bit more variety in the art.

Do I think you should get this app? Well, it’s really up to you. Personally I don’t think I’m keeping it just because of how much money I would spend if I kept it for a long time. But if you are comfortable spending your money on it, then by all means go for it you’ll get a kick out of reading on it. I’m just not sure if it’s worth it.

SUGGESTIONS:
I think that you should put adds in and have people pay to read a certain amount of chapters add free. Just to be clear I mean picture adds. I think people should watch video adds to get coins, and if you consider this suggestion I ask that you make the numbers of coins and adds reasonable. I know that a lot of apps make things like this extremely unreasonable in attempt to make the user buy the premium version but frankly I just get fed up and delete the add.

I’ve used this app for many years. I stopped using it for awhile, as I had to cut costs for the time being, but I returned to Lezhin. Because they have comics and stories that I genuinely like. I was fine with the fact that I had to still go to the main website to read many of their comics, as they weren’t available on the app. I was fine because the coins I purchased on the app were still usable on the website. I was fine paying for coins, ignoring the “free coin” system, because I felt that I could save up enough points to get a small discount. I was fine with a comic I paid to read, disappearing from your site, as it seemed to be a uncommon theme.

But you remove the majority of the points redeem feature. You removed it entirely from the app. You left two options to use points, which I would have been fine with, if they were even a discount option. But they’re not. You left 200 pts + $0.99 for 5 coins or 8000 pts + $69.99 for 280 coins and some points that’ll expire in a month. Each chapter cost 3 coins. You can’t even save enough points in 30 days time to get the “bigger deal”. But why would you want to since it’s not even worth it? It’s literally $0.03 more per coin than buying your already expensive coin bundles, which I was also willing to pay for. Which yeah, isn’t much, but you didn’t give that much of a discount to begin with anyway. Why’d you take it away? Do those 3 cents make that big a difference that you disguise it as a deal?

It may not seem like a big deal, but I was only able to talk myself into buying coins with those discounts in mind. I also feel like there’s just a principal to this matter as a business and consumer relationship. So I hope you bring back the unexpired points, or extend it to 6 months or a year. I hope you bring back your point bundles so we actually get a discount. And bring them back to the app. I know a creator who said they might be getting a deal with you guys, and I hope you treat them right if you take them, but I hope you also treat your consumers well too. Lezhin already has a bad rep in the past, I hope they can get back on the right track. The only reason I gave 3 stars is for the comics, and for hopes there may be improvement made in the future.

Update: They have changed their policies as far as pricing and discounts go (more affordable and they have many more wait until free comics). They have a membership program, but it is still coin based with the monthly membership fee buying coins. They are at least listening to people and trying to make things affordable so I gave them an extra star. The price is getting closer to other apps, but only if you have the membership. You can save roughly $10 on average for biggest packs (2000 coins comparably) by having the membership which on avg. will pay for 66-80 chapters. They also have holiday sales and those can be crazy good sales. If you are ready to pay or don’t read many comics often, this is for you.

Old review: I use numerous reading apps with pay options and activities for free “coins.” Most have pay as you go, Auto Unlock or advance ahead reading. Pros: 1) Great comics typically translated very well. 2) the layout is decent and easy to find things even if the search bar struggles sometimes trying to find an exact match. Cons: 1) App likes to crash and it’s annoying. 2) When downloading, half the time it just stops halfway down and you have to go out and come back. 3) Discounts for some users and not others (Android vs Apple) 4) “Coins” that are ridiculously expensive. By that I mean based off of six other sites using the same system (except they have functioning coin zones for earning coins instead of purchase) the coins at Lezhin cost even with sales, 30-70% (typically 50%) more. 2) Limited options of new content. Some really old comics which are nice until you have read them all. 3) Time limit of gifts. Suggestions: 1) Fix the coin zone 2) Have a membership/per month fee not a monthly coin bundle system. With a flat rate, more people will have access to the comics and be able to pay for the flat rate. You can have both as options since you already have the monthly coin bundle vs reg coin bundle. 3) Either use Ads or stop advertising on Facebook so much and save the money. 4) Continue a series if you started it. Meaning, some series you only have one season of and then it stops. Ex: Kings Maker (not the most PG one, but just saw the second season on another site which costs less than yours [50% without sale] so that means either the author took a pay cut or you overcharge).

first of all ,lezhin as a corporation is just straight up greedy: here’s why - the amount of irl money you have to spend to get some mediocre, inconvenient coin bundles is annoying— it’s annoying how you can only get a specific amount of coins per bundle instead of buying indivisible coins because sometimes bonus coins are available and you only need one more coin to buy a chapter however you have to buy a bundle. so lezhin work on your prices/payment system - authors don’t earn that much money from sales (7:3 split of sales— in favor of lezhin)i follow some lezhin creators and they are vocal about how much money or lack thereof they are earning—- they can’t even pay their electricity and phone bills—-how can they keep working for this corporation when they can’t even afford their equipment? - another frequent topic i’ve come across is mental health: i don’t know what is going on with lezhin and their treatment of creators but most creators have expressed some signs of mental health exhaustion which then leads to them even going on hiatus —-sad fact: a creator that used to work at lezhin sexually harassed an employee (thankfully he was fired and his series was cancelled) but this scares me as a consumer because what kind of people is lezhin associating with?also: a creator by the name of YD —author of blind play— is targeting minors and harassing them—even going as far as to doxx them and insinuate that they commit suicide— calling illegal translators ‘cockroaches’ —LEZHIN PLEASE REMOVE THEIR SERIES OR HAVE A TALK WITH THEM! i’m worried for YD and people she’s hurting ! this is part of the reason why i won’t be purchasing their series anymore. another thing: and honestly what really encouraged me to delete lezhin and no longer support them their treatment of fans/ consumers i don’t recall what the exact topic was but on twitter ,lezhin ENG (a corporation) was extremely disrespectful and vulgar in their comments acting like teenagers or worse than… i have screenshots! this behavior is completely inappropriate from a business like Lezhin so lezhin DO BETTER! i’m not sure if this is just a lezhin ENG thing or LEZHIN KOR as well but as far as the near future goes i will no longer purchase anything here. oh and btw they removed the free 5 coins you receive upon signing up! yeah a hard pass for me, i’ll stick with tapas and bomtoon!thank you very much

Listen up. You ever wonder why LEZHIN has a lower rating? Or why the reviews are mostly 1-2 stars? It’s because of the way your currency system works.

Learn from apps like TAPAS, TAPPYTOON, or WEBCOMICS. They all have ways for users to earn currency by watching ads/taking surveys. Why don’t you do the same? I understand artists/story writers should be paid and tapas, Tappytoon, and webcomics all pay their artists/story writers.

You could set something up like tapas (their currency is called “ink”) they have an option for you to buy ink using money OR you could watch ads (they have a limit of 30 max ads per 1 hour which 30 total ads are worth 300 ink and you can buy roughly one chapter of a comic with that) and each video is worth 10 inks. Or you could do what they do with surveys: they get surveys and depending how long it takes you to do them you earn ink for example surveys that are 1-10 minutes are usually 20-300 ink. Then surveys that are 20-60 minutes are 400-1000 ink. You can also participate in events example: they’re doing one right now with is romance and action or something like that and everyday you have to read 3 chapters of a romance and action manga (the first 3 chapters of all comics are free btw) and when you finish all 3 you get 400 inks.

Or you could do what Tappytoon does and have two types of currency (tokens and points) tokens being worth more then points and you can only buy tokens. While with points you can watch ads to get 10 points (limit is 30 ads per 1 hour which 30 total ads are 300 points which you can also buy roughly 1 chapter of a comic with.)

Or you could do what WebComics does and also have 2 types of currency. They do it a lot different and I love it how they do it. You get a online time span and that means that for every 5 minutes you spend ON THE APP you get +5 coins. They also have an ad system which is 5 ads per day and you can earn 100 coins from watching all ads. They also have a wheel of fortune where you spin it and you get like +30 or +50 or +100 or 1 day free all comics or 2 days free all comics or 3 days free all comics, and you spin the wheel and which ever one it lands on you get, you can spin the wheel 6 times a day. They also have a thing called gold miner and you basically open a chest (you have to watch 1 ad each time you open a chest) and you get a certain amount of coins ranging from 10-100 and you can do this 6 times a day too.

Please learn from these apps, the artists/story writers are doing great and these apps themselves are also doing great. I hope this review reaches someone and you think about this. If anyone is reading this: improve your app and you’ll have more users and a wider audience for the creators of comics. Thanks, that’s all.

Honestly it’s a great app with lots of great stories! There are no ads and the quality of the stories are high!
The only problem is that the cost to read one chapter of a story isn’t a small price. Honestly I can’t buy coins because I don’t have a sustainable source of income and thus can’t afford to purchase coins to unlock different episodes on different stories. It really is a waste to see such great comics but be unable to actually read them. I understand the authors/artists must get paid but i just wish there was an easier way for people without money to receive coins.

Something a lot of other comic apps I have offer a method of receiving coins through watching videos. An example would be webcomics (really great would recommend to anyone) where even someone like me that can’t purchase coins can acquire over a thousand of them! This is because by watching an ad you can get 20-30 coins and everyday you receive 100-120 coins! The price of the episodes is higher but with the amount of coins you can receive then there isn’t much of a problem. You can also unlock episode with ads!

I know that LezhinComics gives you bonus coins but a majority of the time they can only be used on certain comics. Which means even if I have 100 coins I probably can’t unlock the stories I want to read but instead get forced to read a genre or story I’m genuinely not interested in! Even if it were once a week, I’d love to receive maybe 10-20 coins! This way I can continue reading the stories I love without having to wait for the next bonus that I can use on any comic (which only gives me around 1-2 coins) [ not enough to actually continue some stories ]

The only thing that still attracts me and I’m sure others to this app is the amazing stories the artists and authors have put out. Without such quality work I most likely wouldn’t have kept using this app for longer than 2 days.

I really do think the developers should consider having some way of obtaining coins without the long wait.

( For people that say they have stories that unlock after a certain time period I am very much aware of that fact. The only problem is it’s a very limited selection and since I’m more into actions and fantasy there aren’t many stories that I find worth the wait. This is solely my opinion and I can understand if someone disagrees but considering apps like this should aim to offer a wide range of stories for every reader, it’s upsetting and a little irritating to find that there are few selections for people who can’t purchase coins. I would most likely recommend this app to only people willing to pay for it since without money you can’t really get far in to this app and it’s comics. )

I really do hope the developers of this app take into consideration of what I’ve mentioned and understand that there are many flaws with this app. I would really appreciate it if some changes were made or at least taken into account instead of being ignored.

I have never encounterd such bad customer service in my life. On the the 4th of july I purchased coins, so that i can read episodes of my favourite comics. But my purchased coins never showed up in my account. I have send Lezhin multiple tickets to adress this issue. But still after 13 working days there is no response. You guys claim to respond in 5 business days but no response at alI. I also tried to send them an direct email regarding this issue. But also no response, now I just paid for something i did not receive. I am really frustrated by this!

Ok first off when you get into the app you create your account and stuff but once you get into the actual app it’s like a dream come true where all the BL stories lie in your hands! It’s basically like a gift from Santa right? RIGHT?! Wrong. When you get into your first comic book you read a few episodes but then it says you have to buy the next episode and if you don’t have any coins you have to buy it with your REAL MONEY which I wasn’t I about to do since I’m not wasting my money on an app and did I forgot to tell you if you read the free comics and get through some episodes you have to wait about twelve hours to get coins or the next episode and I thought Webtoons was bad.

So a little bit confused & frustrated. Given that the Lezhin Comics Plus is available exclusively to Android Users, it’s a bit irksome that Apple user do not reap the benefits of coin discounts. It’s understandable that Android is the company’s main focal point as Samsung is Korea’s biggest economical factor, but to be EXCLUSIVELY Android is insane. The price of each comic series is expensive (despite the fact that I still purchase lots of coins), so the discount would be much appreciated on Apple. I’m aware they have limitations on which comics can be viewed on the app, but I do not understand why Lezhin Plus isn’t available on the App Store since I can still read “censored” adult content.

come on, 405 coins for $100? there isnt that many comics to begin with to spend that much coins on unless you’re dedicated to few comics.

also, you’re second handedly harming the artists on there -.- new users will be extremely turned off by the heavy price once they reach the point in a comic where they have to pay and either drop the comic or read illegally ... im not saying to pay the artists less but rather, make a compromise on this situation.

making the comics free at first then lock the rest of the chapters for few hours is a good step. OR, we can watch ads for every chapter. i gurantee you that you will gain a lot more respect out of this lol.

I was so hooked on a story and then to read more, I have to have coins. Which I don’t have. And I can’t buy coins because the way my account is set up. The free coin zone is TRASH, nothing works and the “3 minute 3 question survey” is trash, it will tell you your not qualified or take you to a totally different website. Why don’t you just use adds for the coin free zone, you should watch a certain amount of adds to get a certain amount of coins, like watch 1 ad to get 1 coin, and after watching an ad you shouldn’t have to wait an amount of time to do it again. Just saying. I read some other reviews and people agree that you should be able to get coins using ads. PLEASE make this change? Your good reviews would go up and people would love it so much more.

Okay, like others I really want to like this app. They have great enjoyable comics with phenomenal artwork, that I genuinely want to read. But the coin system thingy that they have going on is confusing, unorganized, and unreliable. You can purchase coins, but I’m too afraid of scams and stuff.
The comics are so out-of-this-world that I would watch hours of ad videos in order to gain more coins. Like should have an unlimited amount of sponsored videos, and have each video give three coins. BUT THEY DON’T HAVE THAT! Which would profit the app more...right? They would have more screen hours and happy clients. I wish that the app had some easier ways to gain coins and more organized (like the apps WebComics or WEBTOON). I HOPE THAT IMPROVEMENT ARE MADE. ;((((((

So I love the stories they have! But the coins are a bit of a problem for me because I’m not really allowed to use money on apps. I believe this app should be like WEBTOON or webcomics. WEBTOON gives you the option to pay in order to go ahead or you can wait until the next “episode/ chapter” is released. And in Webcomics it’s the same thing! You can pay to go ahead or you can wait until it’s released. And the ones that were released is free forever. I think that’s what this app should do. And not have it locked until it’s available for “free for only 24-48 hours”. I’m not hating tho like I said I love the stories they provide but that’s what my problem is. If getting free coins is a prob then we can be made to read stories to get coins? Idk but I hope it changes.

Ok, i only got this app cause of a ad i saw on youtube called “False memories” and i read up to chapter 9 and it was amazing! The comics are amazing too! But i soon come to find out that u can only read to 7-9 chapters and then u have to pay to read the whole series? That’s dumb. Then when u try to do the surveys, they don’t even give u coins! It’s a whole waste of my time! Webtoon is 100% better! You don’t have to pay to watch any episode (unless you wanna get further in the series then other people). All u have to do is wait about a week or less for each chapter in the series! That is wayyy better then the bull crap u have to do in lezhin comics! Plz do something where i can watch some ads for about 5-10 coins instead of doing surveys and other stuff that doesn’t even work!

The app was working well prior to updating my iPad to the new iPadOS. After the update the app is not rendering the comics properly which clips off the right edge of the comics. Also the navigation page of each comic only shows single column of each episode (previously was two columns). And the synopsis on the top of each comics is also truncated on the right side.

If you fix those problems I will re-rate your app back to 5 stars. I’ve done some app development with iOS and I know your developing team needs to test all platforms/devices to ensure comics are being rendered properly on the device itself. I’m disappointed that I am unable to enjoy reading some of the comics and I have to resort to using the website on the computer instead. I prefer reading comics on my iPad in my bed.

The fact that a lot of really amazing comics aren’t free on this app is really frustrating. you can easily make revenue off of ads or early release payments, but the fact you have to pay to read or buy coins to see MOST of the comics here is actually angering. You’d make a better rating for yourself if you would leave more comics open to the public even. I can easily find most of these comics on a website for free, so you’re honestly just narrowing down your crowd at this point. Webtoons is so much better. It’s free, but you pay for early release access. Hell, I normally don’t buy a lot of things because I’m still getting through school and I don’t have a job at the moment, but I will pay it up for those early-released Webtoons. No joke. Get your crap together Lezhin, you’re losing people here.

This app has a lot of good stories and creators on here, but you only get access to the first few characters of the story you want to read. To see more chapters you have to buy them and as a broke teen they’re over priced. There is a way to get coins for free but it feels like I’m ether giving way info. About me or wasting my time playing quizzes that take 20 minutes for 1 coin... that won’t get me another chapter!

I think that you guys should give people an amount of coins a week if they want to buy them they will but this gives people who can’t buy coins a chance to read what they want. If the authors need more money then allow them to put an add before the start of a chapter. Another’s would make money and readers could read what they want.

This app could be amazing but right now it’s not.

I think it should be easier to attain coins. Maybe follow Tapas’ lead and add the ability to watch ads for online currency.
Because the coins are hard to attain, and often times send you to scam websites.

If you are going to charge 4.99 to buy 17 of these “coins” as the lowest tier option, then I need more coins for my money’s worth. Try following Webtoon’s lead on that one. There are cheaper prices ex) 0.99 cents which is more affordable, and you get 10 coins (each ep is 5 on webtoon)

4.99 seem like such a big down payment for not getting much out of it. Episodes on Lehzin cost around 3 coins on average. So for 5 dollars you can get 8 episodes

On webtoon, it’s basically a dollar for 10 coins. So for 4.99 you get 10 episodes

Better deal. Better system.

This app has some really really good stories. But it is impossible to even read a chapter. You can read like the first three chapters of a story, then you have to use coins for the rest. Which I totally understand, but it is almost impossible to get coins. They make you download apps and once you get to a certain point in the app, you can get coins. Which on most of them it is impossible to do. I don’t even know if I am making sense, but it is like almost impossible to get any coins. And on one of my old accounts I had this app and reviewed it and they pretty much said “the way you earn coins are reasonable so shut up” they didn’t say it in those exact words, but pretty much. You guys need to up your game, your already at 2.5 stars. Nobody is gonna want your app if you don’t make an easier way to make coins it do daily coins or something like that.

Despite the fact that some of my favorite Manhwa comics were made for LezhinComics platform I can’t get myself to use the app. The coin events are scams and don’t properly work, the wait until free is also kind of a lie. I have read several WUF comics until it suddenly dropped me and asked for coins, which I understand from creator point of view. But I also largely questione(knowing Lezhins reputation) that the creators get those coins. Also, that makes the claim of WUF a straight up lie. Recently they have awarded bunch of free coins and then literally few days later they were gone. Like 10 coins just vanished from my account. I think it’s ok to pay money for comics, but you shouldn’t lie about any of that stuff! Just make the platform completely paid and make the comics affordable. For prices I would buy them in the store or something. And if you are a creator I am sorry and you should find a different platform.

As you know I’ve always never try to spend money on any apps as I would wait. And I have to admit waiting each day is worth it. But the problem is, every time the waited episode has been released you get a limited amount of time before the episode locks itself. Which is really a problem because I spent my time waiting for the episode just for it to be locked if I ever wanted to read again. When I first got the app I got some gifts about 9 coins and 30 bonus points. But as I started to read more I realized I wanted to continue more. So i did some surveys and actions to get coins but they never gave me any coins. It’s really a waste because the ones that included actions that also gave you a ton of coins, you still needed to pay. It’s a pain how this app just bases itself to make the users spend as much money as they can for them to be able to read. If you would have limited some of these restrictions then it would be so much better than it is now.

Why is the free coin center filled with scams. Why can’t you just have me try out a mobile game or watch some videos. Some people just don’t have money they can just give away, I feel like all the viewers/creators should just switch to WEBTOON or lezhin can just step up their game and become more like webtoon make the app free or just find a better way for people to get coins that has nothing to do with scams, maybe then people would like the app more. I just got the app today and I can already see all the things wrong with it. First it’s the payment problems Next it’s the problem with the survey that turn into scams. This is just all way to much. Lezhin please fix these problems and stop trying to scam or change people plz

The one good thing about this app is that the comics are a little bit better than webtoons comics are. the comics that lezhin has are pretty good and you can’t find anything like them on webtoon for example the comic “I can see your money”

The comics here are amazing and the overall format of the app isn’t hard to use but the coin system is awful. I know that artists put their souls into these comics and they need to payed but the surveys are a horrible system. Purchasing one chapter costs 3 coins, a survey only gives you 1. Sometimes the surveys say they’ll give more than that but they never do. I spent 8 minutes on a survey that said it’d give me 8 coins and then it gave me 1. Not only that but not all the surveys give you coins! Five out of the 12 surveys I did didn’t give me any coins, it’s a waste of time. You have to spend 15 minutes on surveys just to read 1 episode. 15 minutes for 3 coins and to unlock the rest you need about 200 more? No thanks. To top it off, if you want to wait for an episode you have to wait 23 HOURS. I started a “free” comic at 1 am because I couldn’t fall asleep which means I can’t get another chapter until 1 am the next day!

All in all, despite the well drawn and well written comics, people that don’t have the money to pay for coins will suffer on this app. Please fix the coin system so it benefits both the creators AND the readers. Perhaps make episodes cost 1 coin (but not do the surveys bc they’re compete bs) and leave the wait to at most 2 hours.

The comics are so good and the artists seem to spend so much time in their great works of art! The only problem is nobody can see there works of art, unless they plan on paying $10 to unlock every comic (3 coins per chapter). You only get to see a few chapters before they are locked up. There’s the free coin zone which doesn’t even work. You spend 45 minutes on a “3 question 3 minute quiz” and then it tells you on the second to last question you aren’t qualified for this quiz. And if you are, then you get to the end and have to spin a wheel with 1/3 chance of getting your 1-10 coins. It’s useless. I love the comics and the artists, but the app itself is not the best. If they end up loosening these things or fixing the problems, I will come back, but until then, I’m finding a different comic app. With actual FREE comics.

I’m sorry if it sounds harsh, but you need to understand your app isn’t working very well. If you want to earn money just use adds within the app and the adds in the free coin zone, but where the free coin zone actually works.

Suggestion: have an option for 1 free coin per add watched (like 30 second adds or something) people like those, and you’ll earn money while customers enjoy there comic. :)
