I just financed an investor loan with this bank.
Every bank ever in my homeowning lifetime has NEVER called me to ask where my payment is on the 2nd of the month.
When I asked why they were calling, (Ethan Shutts) very brusquely told me that my payment was late.
NEVER in my lifetime have I ever had a late payment strike on my credit score which hovers between 795 and 815. Every bank everywhere does not send a late payment reminder until you are LATE past 15th and of course the penalties are added.
I went up the chain of command and every last one of them was rude and told me that this IS a collections call. WOW! Beware of these people. They do not consider this harassment because they are LEGALLY ENTITLED to do it. No sense of is it the right thing to do on the 2nd of the month.
Recommendation: Unless you have money getting there BEFORE the last of the month, so you can send on the first (postmark doesn't matter to them either) do not deal with this bank.
I reported them to the Attorney General. They are no longer allowed to call me.
I make sure I pay them on the last day of the month that is due, because they cannot report a bad mark if your payment in within the month its due! I pay it on the last day of them month and no I do not pay their $45 late fee. 21st mortgage is not allowed to contact me in any way shape or form. I told them I was going to contact police. They are absolutely awful.
I have been harassed via phone, threatening emails, and letters for payments that have not been received by the end of the month. I am a state employee, and my income has been late recently. My payment is late every month, and they are aware of this. My payment history indicates this to be true, but before I am 15 days late, they are harassing me. I do not want to receive any forms of contact from them. What do I need to do to stop this bullying type of behavior by a "professional"?
