My 85 year old mother sent my brother a Christmas card unwittingly signing up for a yearly membership! I saw this and went to cancel Asap as I saw there was a free 3 day trial as part of this. I could not access the site until 4th day as it would not allow a log in and now I see her credit card has been charged a whopping $65.88 ON the THIRD DAY of the trial (12/28 and Christmas card was sent on 12/25). This is not an amount my mother who relies on social security to pay for food and heat could ever afford. I ask that this charge be immediately reversed. Thank you in advance.

Claimed loss: 65.88

Desired outcome: Refund

Hi Ann,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I’m very sorry for the concern this has caused. This is certainly not the experience we want for any customer.

I can confirm that a full refund has already been issued to your mother’s account, and we hope she has now seen it.
The Premium card was sent using our free trial, which provides access to membership features for 3 days at no cost. Trial memberships automatically convert to a paid annual membership if not cancelled during the trial period.

While this information is shown during sign-up and included in the confirmation email sent immediately after registration, we understand that details can sometimes be missed, and we are always happy to help if any questions or issues arise.

I’d also like to clarify that access to an account is never restricted. Users remain logged in unless they actively log out or switch devices. Access is tied to the email address used at sign-up, and the confirmation email includes a direct account link in case of password or login difficulties.

Our support team can of course also be contacted at any time for assistance. You can reach us via our Help Center or by email.

I hope that you and your mother are happy with the resolution we’ve provided, and we remain happy to assist further should there be any additional questions or concerns.

Kind regards,
Julie
