On April 8th 2023 my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee was badly scratched while going through the Zips Carwash on Glory Rd in Baxter MN. An incident report was filed immediately but after trying for over 4 weeks to get an update or resolution, they denied covering any damage because “the vehicle is over 7 years old”. The Jeep has no rust or any other cosmetic issues other than the gouges left in the paint from something being lodged in the brushes and being dragged across my vehicle. The customer service has been atrocious from the moment I filed an incident report. Zips doesn’t care one bit about their customer service or making things right. There’s a really good reason they have an F rating with the BBB.
Desired outcome: Pay for the damage done to my Jeep while going through the Carwash.
Zips has the most unprofessional customer service of any business I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t care about treating people properly or doing the right thing by their customers.
My vehicle was damaged by the Zips Carwash on Glory Rd in Baxter MN on April 8th 2023. I filed an incident report right away for the dozens of deep gouges left in my paint, but it took over a month before they finally acknowledged me. I spent hours on the phone, sending emails, and talking with the local on-site manager. Everyone pointed to it being someone else’s job and refused to do anything about it.
After a month had gone by I cancelled all my memberships and asked for a refund from the date my Jeep was damaged and Zips not only refused to reimburse me, they charged me for another month plus an additional fee that I’ve never been charged before in the 2+ yrs I’ve been a member.
I can’t even begin to describe how frustrating Zips has been to deal with. There’s a very good reason they have an F rating from the BBB.
All I asked for was to treated properly and compensated for damages caused to my vehicle and to be reimbursed for my membership from the time of the incident report.
