Whilst using my iPhone a notification popped up showing a PayPal monthly automatic payment of £45 to ZestAds Limited.
I did not authorise this payment, have no idea who ZestAds Limited are so promptly accessed my PayPal app and cancelled future automatic payments ( that was shown as a direct monthly payment to ZestAds Limited).
Since I successfully cancelled future payments I cannot find any other payments made from my account to them, so I am unsure whether other unauthorised payments have been made to ZestAds Limited.
I’m now worried that they have somehow gained unauthorised access to my iPhone, PayPal account or anything else.

*** UPDATE ***
ZestAds Limited purportedly contacted me via email regarding my complaint asking for contact info in order for a refund to be issued.
They then called me via WhatsApp stating they apologise and wish to issue a refund of the £45 plus compensation.
He then attempted to use WorldRemit by coaching me to set up an account.
Long story short, he made 7 separate attempts to get me to SEND GBP£550 to a recipient in Kenya!
7 X £550.
Yes. Terrifying isn’t it.
I repeatedly stated that he should simply reimburse me via PayPal, but he was adamant that this was the quickest and easiest option to receive my refund and kept insisting that I continue and/or try again when I navigated away from the transactions.
Call then ended but the chap persisted with repeated phone calls and emails asking me to answer my phone “to receive assistance”.
Someone then using a device listed as ‘a16’ in Kenya then attempted (unsuccessfully) to access/log in to the WorldRemit account whilst I was in contact with their customer support!
WorldRemit customer support was fantastic.
All transaction attempts were confirmed as cancelled. WorldRemit stated I was indeed very nearly a victim of being scammed. They then disabled and closed the account.
WorldRemit stated they have initiated further action ref barring ZestAds Limited from their platform.
I have now changed multiple passwords on multiple platforms and blocked the email addresses and phone numbers used to contact me.
All relevant info, screenshots, addresses, phone numbers etc all now being forwarded to Action Fraud UK.
