Return request completed on line 3/15/2022; return request confirmation received 3/15/2022; emails exchanged 3/16 & 3/22 requesting status of return authorization; 3/18 1:29 AM CST received request for actual photo of items and reason for returning (reason had been provided 5 times prior) and referred to return policy; emailed pictures of dresses again to a Polly Song 3/18/2022 10:06 CST; I have attempted to call *** each day starting 3/14/2022; it is my belief Zapaka is attempting to push the return request beyond the 7 day requirement to receive return authorization. I ordered a dress from this company in September, receiving the item on September 17th. I ordered a dress advertised as 98% cotton - received a dress that was tagged as 95% polyester. I ordered a size Medium - received a dress that was tagged as size 0. The waistline of the dress ran across the bust. It was undwearable. I emailed the company on the date I received the order indicating the poor quality of the dress and that I wanted to return it. It took several more emails before they told me I would have to pay to have a logistics company ship the item to China before they would refund the price of the product they sent me, which was NOT what I ordered. This will cost more money that I will receive for the refund, even assuming they actually do a refund. They are engaging in blatant bait and switch and making the returns so onerous that customers will give up on the proceses. They need to be shut down.

I ordered a dress for $119 on 3/24 with an expected delivery by April 9. I reached out 4x. The order is still in production on 4/19 with no ETA. I ordered at dress on 3/24 for $119. I ordered the dress since the expected delivery was 8-12 business days which put the dress at my door by April 9th. With the Easter holiday I gave it a few more days prior to reaching out. I have emailed them 4 times asking for information on shipping, where the dress is shipping from, and if it is a legitimate company. I have gotten a response to all emails within 3 days and it is the same representative each time. She asks me when we need the dress and asks me to continue to be patient, that the dress is still in production in order to make it perfect for me. I still have no tracking information and there is not even an expected date that it will be shipped. Looking at the website, this dress is not even on backorder.

On May 10, I ordered Zapaka's "Light Blue Beaded Tulle Prom Dress" and paid for express shipping. My total came out to be $117.79. My size, size 2, was and is still currently being advertised as "in stock and ships in 24 hours" on their website. It is now May 17, and my dress STILL HAS NOT SHIPPED. I have been in contact with customer service VERY briefly and they explained the reason it has not shipped is that it will take "10-20 days to make". The only reason I ordered this dress was that I was under the impression it would ship in 24 hours, like advertised and arrive before the day I needed it. How can a dress be advertised as "in stock and ships in 24 hours" if it requires 10-20 days to be made? Once I expressed to the company in our emails that I would like to cancel my order and receive a FULL refund for false advertisement, they stopped responding. I have not heard back from them and no confirmation on what is going on with my order.

My 16-year-old ordered two dresses and paid for expedited shipping. The site said ships in 24 hours. Not only did the dresses not ship in 24 hours, but when my daughter contacted customer service to find out why, they told her they had sent an email to ask if she really wanted both dresses, and she had not yet replied. She already paid for both dresses! What retailer does such a thing, especially when the customer explicitly asks for expedited delivery? If a retailer has a return policy, they should expect that people might actually make returns (and of course they will pay for return shipping). My daughter then tried to cancel her order, since it was clearly going to arrive too late for her event. But it turns out that after 24 hours, Zapaka charges crazy fees for cancellations (these are hidden in the FAQs, as are other important details). So my daughter will be waiting for delivery and pay for return shipping because Zapaka used deceptive business practices.

On March 8th I bought a blue dress from Zapaka. The dress did not arrive in the 2 week window advertised. After I sent multiple emails, the customer service representative (***) said the dress was still being made. It didn't arrive until April 8th. When the dress finally arrived it was the wrong color. After numerous messages with customer service trying to prove the dress I ordered had still not arrived, I was told another customer package was on its way (this email came on April 12th). I was asked to pay international shipping to return the green dress which I had not purchased. In claiming that it was not appropriate for me to use my own funds to ship a dress that was sent in error, Zapaka eventually agreed to offer me a 40% refund on my purchase, saying this was the most they could refund. I accepted the 40% refund in exchange for my hassle and with the belief that a new package had already shipped on April 12th. I still don't have the dress and their email suddenly closed.
Buyer Beware!
Buyer Beware! They have a return policy that requires you pay return shipping. They do not tell you that it is international shipping to ***, which in my case was $150 for a 5 lb package. I ordered several dresses and a pair of shoes on Dec. 6th, 2021 for an event on December 16th for $231. They did not give an approximate ship date at the time of purchase, so I emailed on Dec. 9th to ask when the package would arrive. They "assured" me that it would arrive on time. When I finally got the tracking number and it was clear that package would not arrive on time, I requested a cancellation which they would not let me do. Then they "assured" me that when the package arrived they would help me with return shipping, but then revealed later that they wanted me to take everything out of the package and take pictures, send them pictures of the labels, and pay for the return shipping. JUMP THROUGH HOOPS to have spent $81 for absolutely nothing. My other option was a 15% refund. So now I have cheaply made dresses and shoes that don't fit and I got $35 back. Total scam. When you contact customer service, a person name ***" responds, but it is clearly a different person every time under one name. I believe this company is based in***, has fake reviews on their site (they didn't post my poor review), and has an outrageous return policy. In my case, they made a promise to deliver on time, then didn't, then made me keep dresses I can't use with their exhaustive back-and-forth emails (that I have for proof). I've never experienced such a poor consumer interaction. So frustrated!

So I sent an email the same day: Can you please cancel our order and refund us for the dress? Order # ***. We have not received notification of shipment and will need to find another option to meet our needs. Received this response: Upon checking the status of your order in our system, it shows that the dress you ordered is still processing. Rest assured that once your order was shipped out, you will receive an email containing the tracking number. Followed by this response: We understand that you want to cancel your order, but please take note that we have a Cancellation Policy to follow. Since your order is still within the time frame. Please be informed regarding our cancellation policy, that we will deduct a cost from your order depending on how long the item has been purchased, for the reason that time and labor have been consumed on processing your order. Please refer to this link for more information ---> *** Please note that as per the Cancellation Policy, "Order cancellation 120 hours after payment: Refund of shipping fee only". If you agree with our Policy, we will then proceed with your request. We await your response. I replied with this: I think that since we were given a 10 day window for shipping when we made the purchase almost 30 days ago and the item STILL had not shipped; you faulted on your agreement and we need a full refund. I placed an order for a prom dress on 2/22. When I saw no shipment info after a week I called to cancel: 2/28. They don't answer the phone, tell you to email. So I did the same day. Told them since they haven't event shipped need to cancel because the dress will never arrive in time for 3/19 dance (20 day shipping). Their response has been non-sensical, saying they have to deduct processing costs from order and not agreeing to any refund. They keep sending me to this link that has literally NO information: ***, saying their policies are stated here. They have told me they will only refund shipping. So...I have no dress...they have my money. This is a complete sham. Across the top of their website they say "Easy Returns", yet they keep telling me I have to "keep" something they can't even ship. Though they pretend to be an American company, seems to be foreign, they only send me unintelligible emails in the middle of the night. Zapaka purchase disappointment due to color discrepancy and return policy issues
I purchased the dress from Zapaka instead of another retailer because Zapaka's dress appeared dark red to maroon in photos, unlike the rusty brown shown elsewhere. Zapaka advertised free shipping and returns, prompting my purchase. However, initiating a return on their site was impossible; the option was absent, and searching for returns directed me to a non-functional process. Their policy contradicts the advertised free returns, as using their label incurs a $25 fee. I proposed using my own label for a cheaper USPS priority mail return. Zapaka's responses were unhelpful, offering a paltry refund to keep an ill-fitting, incorrectly colored dress. They suggested waiting for a website update for proper return labels, which I suspect will still charge the $25 fee. This experience feels like false advertising and is misleading. Returned items a month ago and I still haven't got my refund. They don't even reply my emails anymore. Don't but here, it will bring nothing but problems. Poor customer service and refund policy.
Ordered a week ago, still don't have a shipping confirmation. Paid an extra $50 for express shipping that said the item would be received in 5 days. When I emailed the company, they said it would take at least 2 weeks and have not responded to numerous emails since! I want a refund now and simply no reply. Have taken up the dispute with my bank
Lost my money
My girlfriend and I have purchased a dress from the online store of Zapaka and we would like to cancel the order, it has not yet been 24 hours. When we call, we get the same message to wait a while and then nothing. This is a stalling tactic that is barely legal in my country but I guess anything goes with a chinese company "operating" out of USA!
You do not want to order from this company. They are based in China and to return the items are very difficult. It takes days for them to respond to any email.
Pretty simple. I ordered a dress and I never received it. Zapaka takes no responsibility for it once it leaves their facility.
Ordered a dress for a wedding. Emailed asking if it will arrive before April 8 2023. It did not so emailed to say do not shop the dress just process a refund.
