I placed an order for three jewelry items and the shipping date (arriving after Christmas) was not shown until after the order was placed. The Zales Jewelry website stated that orders would be delivered by Christmas. My daughter will be here (at my home in Waco, Texas) at Christmas and will already have traveled to her home in San Antonio, Texas after Christmas. I tried to call Zales to explain that the item that is showing up after Christmas would need to be shipped to another address. The person that I spoke to was a man and he stated his name was Dalena (he would not spell his name for me). Dalena stated that "It is company policy that an order shipping address cannot be changed after the order is placed". I tried to explain that this is not what the website stated, but he would not help me any further and disconnected the phone call. This item is an opal turtle pendant necklace, item #[protected] that cost $119 plus tax and plus the lifetime protection of $54.99. The order was placed less than one hour before I called customer service and Dalena was not helpful at all and gave me zero solutions to get the Christmas present shipped to my daughter. I am very dissappointed with Zales and you have lost a customer that has bought many items in the past. You don't realize how frustrating it is to be hung up on when trying to come up with a solution. The wait to talk to someone was at least 5 minutes. Desired outcome: An apology or in-store credit for stating that Zales can deliver before Christmas no ship date until after order is placed. Your customer service person, Dalena, disconnected the call without a solution
