Has recently removed the sony channels package from my account.
I have fully paid them for a year in advance for Hindi and Marathi Channels combo which includes the sony channels.
Now they are expecting me to upgrade my subscription as they do not want to deliver on what they promised before.
Desired outcome: Yupp should reinstate all the sony channels as per the package we paid for

I have been with yupp tv for last 7 years and renewed my current contract in March 2021
On 1 July 2021 without notice yupp tv removed Sony channel
My complain is that I entered into a contest with yupp tv with included Sony tv
Now I want to cancel my plan and request a refund of the pro rata amount
I rang 5 times and the options they are giving me is to pay more money to watch Sony as the contract cannot be cancelled
I will be making a complaint to consumers arrayed if not sorted by this week

Sony TV channels removed without notice
I have been a customer of Yupptv for more than 8 years. In Apr, I renewed the subscription and paid for an year in advance 'Sony' channels was part of my subscription.
From 1st July, without any notice or discussion, YuppTV have discontinued that channel on my subscription. When I called up customer service, they told me to pay extra for the Sony channels but were not willing to refund my full amount.

I have been trying to call them for the last 4 days with no resolution. The agent agreed to arrange an urgent call back twice in the last 3 days but no body called me. When I called up again, the call centre agents (Naveena and Nandini) hung up the phone on me, which is very rude and unprofessional.
I find this highly unacceptable because the channels I had subscribed to are removed without compensation and I am asked to pay for getting them re-instated.
But this is becoming a standard business practice of removing channels and asking to upgrade which I find is a totally unethical business practice.
I demand the full services including Sony channel to be offered that was sold to me or offer a full refund along with an apology.

YUPPTV Fraud UK service
I am the victim of Yupptv customer with you guys paying for the subscription for last 10 years.
And you are one of the worst and fraud service provider in UK .Who does care about providing service, you will do the follow up until the subscription is renewed and after that GOD and your Fraud Team knows when you will remove the channels and don't even notify.
I have paid for the full subscription for Telugu and Hindi package, now SONY chanels removed and asking to pay additonal money for getting ZEE package.
Worst Custer service and support.
This is one of the classic examples from the YUPPTV management. If this is not going to resolve the issue it will be good make complaint against Yupptv in OFGEM UK.

I am being customer of yupptv and pay every year annual subscription i pay for the package of hindi and punjabi channels no more than this and yupptv remove any channel at any time without any notice last year zee tv group and ptc punjabi and now Sony tv channels and no refund of money and now they demand more money for zee group of channels is bad experience my email id is [protected]@gmail

I have been on a multiple phone calls with YuppTV for a long time now and not getting any help.
All the sony channels have disappeared from my account and they now want me to pay extra to get sonyliv.
This is appalling, why will I pay extra for something I originally paid for.
They are unable to give me a FULL refund for everything I paid.
It's only been 15 days since I signed up, already looking like a big mistake.
Seems like a fraud when they make these changes without letting the customers know and do nothing to rectify their mistakes.

Before they removed zee channels so last time when i upgrade the sales team promised that there will not be any channel removing in future. Now all Sony channel removed and now as we not normally watch any other program no point of keeping subscription. I already paid full payment for subscription and they said they cant refund on pro rata base. So its good business for them that get full money and remove channel so all they can have is clear profit.In my opinion its fraud.
Desired outcome: Show all channel which u promised or refund money on prorata basis.If u cant provide service you have no rights to keep money.

Sony Subscription
When I renewed the subscription and paid for an year in advance 'Sony' channels was part of my subscription.

They do not offer a cancellation and pro-rated refund without the upgrade.

A very simliar thing had happened with 'Zee' channels couple of years ago - and in that case I had chosen to overlook the issue.

Desired outcome: Full cancellation of my subscription with pro-rated refund. I know the policy says that annual packages cannot be cancelled, but then I am not receiving the product that I paid for and hence I am cancelling.

Sony removed from channel list
Services as promised is not getting delivered and getting forced to pay more to watch the same content.
When I brought a hindi package sony was part of it and it was a contract between yupptv and me.Now suddenly sony is removed and getting a option to upgrade by paying more.it makes no sense.

Sony channels removed from ongoing yearly package - Refund needed
Hi Team
I have taken a yearly Hindi subscription in April 2021 and it is a yearly subscription till July 2022. I paid in full for all Hindi TV channels including Sony Entertainment channels, Sony Max, etc.
Suddenly from yesterday (1st July), they stopped listing the Sony channels without any consultation or call that this is happening.
I called Yupp TV today for this issue, and they said that the Sony channels are not available anymore in your subscription and that you need to upgrade your package to watch Sony channels now. This means that for the same channel, I am now asked to pay extra for which I already paid before.
I told them to cancel my current subscription and refund the money for the months left in my contract - which they declined and the only option is to upgrade.
This is illegal and unethical, when you say contract it has to be followed both ways. I would want Sony channels in my package or cancel my subscription with refund. I do not wish to pay more for the same channels which are already in my contract.
Please assist in getting corrective action or suggest higher escalation route.

Sony channels
Hi, I have subscribed for full Hindi channel package. Suddenly today (2- Jul), none of Sony channels are coming either on Live or catch-up. When I called Yupptv; they are saying it's no longer available and instead asking to subscribe for SonyLiv and pay more. I tried to explain I subscribed only for Sony Channels and not interested in SonyLiv. I requested refund if they can't provide promised package as now there is nothing much I can watch on YuppTv. I need my money back as made full 1 year subscription. Need Justice

Discontinuation of service without notice even when subscribed for yearly package
Hi,
I am Jatin Gupta and have been a subscriber of Yupp TV for the last 3 years. I was a happy customer until now but today suddenly all Sony channels stopped showing up on my subscription. I watch mainly Sony channels and it is a waste to continue services without the required channels.
Got to understand from Yupptv customer support that channels are discontinued and converted to sony liv for which they are demanding more money.
This to me is not acceptable when I had already paid for channels in terms of yearly subscription. If yupptv cannot continue providing me channels I paid for, please help me getting the refund of the remaining subscription amount.
I had subscribed from 10 Jan 2021 to 10 Jan 2022.

Till today i dont have nay problem buy suddenly the turn sony channel off from my package. And they asking me to pay more for sony channels. So i asked them i dont need their subscription as i have paid for all hindi channels, but now they are not providing the correct services that i should get.

Package Refund
I was using yupptv for than one year but I didn't activate recurring yearly package but when it was one day before to expire they charged from my card on 31st May 2021. I sent email on the same day to deactivate my account and subscription. So I got call from one their call center on 2nd June 2021 that my package will be cancelled and I will get full refund. But I'm following up with their support team through email I think almost 10 email to get my refund back but no one is responding it's more 25 days now.
Please if someone can help me on this it will be a great help.

I got to phone yupp every time I need to connect

Had no issues in the past but for the 7 days I have to call Yupp every day to connect me because every time I log into Yupp my account info is changed to someone else's
It's absolutely annoying and I have got no joy from them either and this is extremely frustrating.

Unauthorised renewal of subscription
I had a subscription to yupptv tv since 2019 which expired on 17/4/21. I was contacted by the yupptv tv team for renewal of subscription (ref: 1681129) and I have refused renewal multiple times over the phone. I had finally sent a email on 15/4/21 to cancel my subscription from my registered e-mail account. ([protected]@yahoo.com) but was surprised to find money was taken from my account on 17/4/21 for 155.99 pounds. I had immediately emailed them on 17/4/21 regarding this event and asked for a refund. Since I did not get any reply, I called the customer service on 19/4/21 at around 5:38 pm and spoke to mr vamshi krishnan who promised me that some one from the concerned team would call me in 10 minutes. I waited for the call and with response I called back again at 6:22 pm and spoke to mr rajwanth. He again promised that I will get a call from some one in 5 minutes. I have had no response. This clearly looks unethical and it looks like I have been cheated and money had been taken out of my account without my consent. Provide me with solution to the above issue.

IPL Package was promised as part of the Annual Recharge last year, not yet added by YuppTV, IPL has started and has finished 6 matches already.

This is fraudulent and seems to be only promised because they wanted me to take annual subscription.
