I called to make an appointment for my 2 dogs to get groomed the week of 4/20. They told me my dogs didn't have their rabies shots up to date and I needed to do that first. I said okay and made an appointment for 5/1 after their vaccinations. On 4/23, I got a call from the place saying they got a visit from the cdc and had to close due to covid-19. They asked if I could bring my dogs in earlier. I said I could, but they still needed their rabies shots. The manager said it was okay to bring their vaccine papers later. So, I made an appointment for 4/24. After the appointment, I got home and noticed that one of my dogs was licking her leg a lot. I checked and there was a big cut in the crook of her leg. Since it was after hours, I couldn't contact the groomer until Monday. I took my dog to the vet because I was worried she might need stitches. Luckily, she only needed antibiotics. When I told the facility about it, the manager called me back and said they didn't do it and that my vet was wrong. I told her there was no way it could have happened anywhere else and that it happened at the facility. I said I understand accidents happen and I'm not asking for a refund, just for them to pay the vet bill. They refused and said they did nothing wrong. I called again to talk to the owner but never got a call back. I emailed the owner and was told the owner wouldn't talk to me because they have a manager. This place has cost me extra money for vet bills that shouldn't have happened and they won't take responsibility. They also groomed 2 dogs without rabies vaccinations, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. The way this place is run by the manager and owner is completely wrong and unethical in my opinion.
