Instead of providing a proper fair service they decided to close our account based off CAPITAL LETTERS... Can't believe the hit and miss but to be told via live person in email communication lie after lie and still being generous as continued changing of plugins gets annoying, however I guess that is better then dealing with a company that continues to mislead, and lie to their paying customers... even their roadmap has lies. their pages are a trap with major words that will get you to purchase in and then when you call them out its game over for you, their hosting is also a joke... claims its woo commerce ready on the website however their live agents tell you its not...

I recently tried out WPMU DEV's premium service through their free trial offer. I was excited to see what they had to offer and quickly installed their plugins. However, as soon as I did, my site crashed due to a conflict with one of their plugins. I was frustrated and tried to find a phone number to call for support, but to my disappointment, there was no phone support available. I had to rely on their chat support, which unfortunately was unable to fix the issue.

I was left with no choice but to pay a developer to fix the problem. Since this happened during the trial period and I had uninstalled all of their services, I assumed that the trial was cancelled. However, the next month I noticed that I was billed. I contacted them and they quickly reversed the charge, so I thought it was just an error on their part that they had corrected.

But then, a couple of days later, I was billed again. I checked back and found that they had charged me the previous month as well. I tried to find a billing phone number on their site, but once again, there was only chat support available. When I contacted them, they acknowledged that I had never used their service, but they refused to give me a full refund. Instead, they offered me free services that they knew were not compatible with my site and a one-month refund.

I was very disappointed with their response. I felt that they should have never billed me in the first place, especially since I had not used their service. It was a very unfortunate experience, and I would not recommend WPMU DEV to others.

Honestly, if they don't change their system of support, resource repository, and general encouragement for anyone who's tinkering with design, programming, and web work, I can't see myself ever letting my membership lapse again.

I've been using wmpudev plugins for over a decade now, since 2010, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with their services. As a website developer who mainly works with WordPress, I value my time and professional support. What I need in my projects are well-written, fully supported, and reliable WordPress plugins. And that's exactly what I get with wpmudev.

In my projects, I use a variety of plugins, including Autoblog, Infinite SEO, Recent Custom Posts/Comments, and many others, especially plugins dedicated to multisite functionality. I also implement wpmudev solutions on standalone WordPress sites. And I must say that I am always satisfied with the results.

During each project, I spend many hours with wpmudev consultants discussing issues and asking questions. And I must say that no issue has ever been left unanswered. The support team is always there to help me out, no matter what the problem is. And that's something that I truly appreciate.

In addition, some projects have shown that external WordPress solutions work fine with wmpudev plugins. For example, localization standard WPML or independent theme authors (e.g. On themeforest), who provided dedicated fixes and support. It's a fantastic experience to know that you can count on the platform you have chosen and have a reliable partner to work with.

Overall, I would give wpmudev a 5-star rating for their excellent service. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. Despite the fact that I'm working less with WordPress nowadays, I am staying with wpmudev. And I would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs reliable and professional WordPress plugins.

I have to say, I'm not too impressed with WPMU DEV. I had high hopes when I purchased their classified plugin, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete waste of my time.

I followed all of the instructions in the documentation, and even set up a fresh install of WordPress with no other plugins installed. But no matter what I did, the plugin just wouldn't work as advertised. I spent hours trying to troubleshoot the issue, and even reached out to their support team for help.

Unfortunately, the support I received was less than satisfactory. Some of the support team members disappeared without resolving anything, and even the ones who did try to help couldn't get the plugin to work properly. It's pretty disappointing when a company can't even get their own plugin to function correctly.

When I asked for a refund, they refused. I even asked them to fix the plugin so I could use it, but they were unable to do so. It's frustrating to spend money on a product that doesn't work, and then not be able to get a refund for it. I'm still waiting for my refund, and I'm not holding my breath.

In contrast, I've had much better experiences with other plugin developers, like EDD. They offer refunds if you're not satisfied with their products, and their support team is much more helpful and responsive. It's hard to understand why WPMU DEV would sell plugins that don't work, and then refuse to offer refunds to their customers. It feels like they're just stealing from people.

Overall, I would not recommend doing business with WPMU DEV. If you're looking for reliable plugins and good customer service, there are plenty of other options out there.

All in all, I'd say WPMU DEV is a pretty good deal. Sure, they're not perfect - nobody is. But they're pretty darn close. And if you ever have any doubts, just remember that I'm a real person who's had a really good experience with them. So take that, haters.

With over 350+ plugins and themes, every single one of them is an amazing tool. I've installed many of their plugins and, for the first time, recently added the Fundraising plugin to a nonprofit client's site. And let me tell you, it was a breeze to set up.

From my side, there were no hassles getting everything set up. On the nonprofit side, I was easily able to set user permissions, giving the bookkeeper and committee chair the perfect level of needed access. They were so impressed by being able to run their own crowdfunding campaign, that I have been hired to completely overhaul their website.

WPMU DEV has given me solutions to offer my clients to help their business growth. I have become a "one-stop plugin shop" for much of the code that only a few years ago I hired out to programmers.

My business offers e-commerce, blogging, social media, fundraising, email marketing, event, membership, and appointment management solutions. Support is really good, but I had a problem with a WPMU DEV plugin that is very important for my business. It just stopped working right. If you look at the comments on the thread I created in their forum (https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/unable-to-edit-appointment-time/#post-3588227), you'll see that this problem affected not just me but probably all users of the plugin, which makes the problem even more important.

It took them from May to December of 2018 to come up with a way to fix it. To me, this meant seven months without an essential plugin. And they didn't listen when I asked them not to charge me their monthly fee while they were working on a solution. Please note that I only use this one plugin from WPMU DEV. So for all those seven months, I kept paying monthly for a plugin that didn't work right.

I give WPMU DEV five stars because, in all other respects, I agree with what has been said about them. And I think that what happened to me was not typical of their customers' experience. In all other cases, during the many years I've been using them, I had really good support and experience.

So I would still recommend WPMU DEV to my friends, and I would choose any of their plugins if I ever need them. Just remember that nobody is perfect, not even ourselves.

We recently moved our website from ipage to WPMU DEV and we couldn't be happier with the decision. The expenses at ipage were getting out of hand, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we were looking for a better solution. After some research, we decided to give WPMU DEV a try and we were blown away by their technology.

Before settling on WPMU DEV, we tried migrating our site to a new hosting company called lifehost, created by Anirudh Baavra. Unfortunately, the experience was a nightmare. Lifehost claimed to have 24x7 chat support, but they didn't. They used Skype as their support platform, which was not very helpful. When we encountered an error on our site, Uddhab, their support representative, said they weren't experts in WordPress and couldn't do anything to help us. The migration process with lifehost was a disaster and it took almost three weeks to get an unsuccessful result. We found out that the creators of lifehost were WSO marketers and not a professional hosting company. Anirudh Baavra was helpful during the process, but things just didn't add up. We eventually requested a refund and got it. We hope they can sort things out in the future.

Fast forward to April 1, 2021, and we are grateful to the WPMU DEV team for making the migration process easy and seamless. Alex from sales support and Arjay Lazaro, Rahim Terah, and Luis from tech support walked us through every step of the process to ensure the migration was successful. They provided 24x7 chat support, which was a huge relief. We migrated our site at midnight and by the next business day, it was up and running smoothly without any errors. WPMU DEV is at the forefront of technology in this area, and their hosting plans include four premium plugins: Smush Pro, Hummingbird Pro, Defender Pro, and Shipper Pro. Our site is now super fast, which allowed us to remove unnecessary plugins because WPMU DEV does it all. We started with Performance Pack x 2, examined our site's size and traffic, and then upgraded to Bronze Hosting, which was recommended by Alex. We are thrilled with the results and plan to keep our site with WPMU DEV for a long time. We highly recommend WPMU DEV to anyone looking for a reliable hosting solution. I've been a paying member of WPMU DEV for a full year now and I must say, it's been a game-changer for my web business. Let me give you a little backstory. I had been using WordPress multisite to manage around 10 sites, but I was struggling to find plugins that provided the necessary functionality I needed. Many plugins just didn't work with multisite or required a lot of tweaking to make them work. On the other hand, plugins that were specifically designed for multisite were rare and often quite hacky. It wasn't a big deal at the time since the sites I was managing were all mine and not heavily trafficked. But as I started to expand my business and take on paying clients, I realized I needed to nail down the stability and capabilities of the whole network.

That's when I stumbled upon WPMU DEV. I had heard about the involvement of the founder, David Farms, in the early development of what was then WPMU. I had also seen some of the plugins from WPMUDEV come up when looking for necessary plugins for multisite. The plugins they offered were all tested with multisite, which was a huge relief. I had never paid for a plugin before, but I wanted a lot of the plugins they offered, so I bit the bullet and signed up for a year's membership. It worked out to around $20 per month, which was a small fee, but still an expense for a starting business.

There was definitely a learning curve when I first started using WPMU DEV. There was a lot to do to get everything sorted out, but everything was there, I just had to implement it. At first, I tried installing various plugins one by one, but later found they had a dashboard to install all their plugins. So after installing that, it's a breeze (just click). That is now the first place I go to look for the plugins I need now (actually I use Google and then find the results on their site). The sheer volume of plugins can be overwhelming at times, but that's just research that needs to be done.

Currently, I have 130 plugins installed. 75 are from WPMUDEV, 15 are from StudioPress, and the rest are big name free plugins like Jetpack and WordPress SEO. Being sure of the quality of the plugins helps keep my network going smoothly.

There are really two parts to the WPMUDEV membership. Those are the support and the development. On the development side, I feel so much more at ease knowing that the vast majority of the plugins I am using have been tested before updates are pushed out. How much testing is not known, but I do know the most important thing for me, and that is those updates will not BREAK my network. Of course, there are often bugs to iron out (that's normal), but nothing catastrophic or anything that would cause my clients to lose trust in me, or me to lose trust in WPMUDEV. The plugins work as stated and are generally without fluff as they were designed for a specific purpose. I no longer worry about hitting the "upgrade" button, and I don't schedule upgrades for the weekend so I can throw hours into fixing everything when it breaks. Also, because of the generous terms, I can run two mirror networks, do an upgrade on the testing network before making the changes to my primary network.

On the support side, the forums are for paying members only. Firstly, let me state what this is not. This is not a direct line to a developer who will do everything for you (although some will dig quite deep to help you out). You'd need to pay a heckuva lot more for that. What you do get is a forum where there are people who will help. It's sort of a "super forum" as there is something in it for the mods so they put in effort. The devs and members on the forums really do want to get to the root of the problems and will try their best, and occasionally a plugin author might step in for something when it seems necessary. I've used a few snippets of code from the forums to solve specific issues. There is also an option to allow a mod to get access to your site's backend. I have never needed that and am still reluctant on the whole, but other members appeared to have had their issues sorted out this way.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the service I get from WPMU DEV. It's essentially developer support and plugins for a fraction of the cost of a full-time developer. The peace of mind I get from knowing that my network is stable and secure is priceless. I highly recommend WPMU DEV to anyone who is serious about managing a WordPress multisite network.

Hey guys, I gotta say, I'm pretty frustrated with WPMU DEV. I recently installed WP Smushed on my website, hindish.com, and now my images aren't showing up. I'm not sure what's going on, but I could really use some help here.

I've been a customer of WPMU DEV for a while now, and I've generally been pretty happy with their services. They offer a lot of great tools and plugins that have helped me improve my website and make it more user-friendly. But this latest issue has really got me scratching my head.

I'm not sure if it's a problem with WP Smushed itself, or if there's something else going on. I've tried disabling the plugin and re-enabling it, but that doesn't seem to have done anything. I've also tried clearing my cache and cookies, but that didn't help either.

Listen up, folks. I gotta tell ya, this company, WPMU DEV, ain't all sunshine and rainbows. They done gone and deleted one of my sites without so much as a heads up. And get this, it was a site I was actively workin' on! Can you believe it?

Now, I ain't no tech whiz, but I know enough to know that this is a big ol' mess. They didn't give me no reason for the deletion, and even though they say I can get the site back, I ain't gonna have the latest code status. That's just plain ol' not cool, man.

I mean, seriously, these guys are supposed to be professionals, but they're actin' like a bunch of amateurs. It's a potential catastrophy for anyone hostin' with 'em. I wouldn't trust 'em with my site if you paid me.

This company is not very good when it comes to customer service. I run two small websites as a volunteer and we don't have any staff. I would advise against signing up for their "free" trial.

It ended up costing me $350 because this company didn't send out any notifications that the free trial was ending. I didn't even use their products, I just checked them out. You need to have paid staff who will read all the fine print or mark your calendar.

The worst part is how customer support responds. They "gave" me an extra six months for free, but I wasn't even using their product. Giving me more of nothing was a low blow. Customer support even said that my credit score might be lowered if I pursue a fraud complaint with my credit card company.

These people are not very nice. They are very risky and unpleasant.

I don't have any proof of purchase, but I do have the monthly withdrawal information on my credit card statements. I'll try to attach a picture of one of them if I can edit this after submitting.
