QuickBooks

I am a small minority owned business. I use QuickBooks Intuit to process my credit cards using a card swipe purchased from them. On June the 16th the card swipe stopped working. I was able to key in the credit card information but this is a much more expensive process. Swiped I pay 2.97 for a 170.00 purchase. If I have to key in the information, I pay $5.18 for the same 170.00 purchase. For 100.00 swipe - $1.85 vs keyed in $3.15.

I called QuickBooks and spoke with a representative, after much time and investigation, the agent told me it was due to an update on the software and they were working on the issue.

After numerous phone calls, finally on the 17th of July I get an email that the problem has been fixed. Each time I spoke to someone I pointed out their error was costing me more money. One agent said "it's only a dollar". Which it is more but even if it is how many customers do they have. The could be making a million dollars a day.

I have asked numerous times to get reimbursed for the additional charges. They continue to deny to reimburse me for these additional expenses.

I tried QuickBooks and it was pretty good. It helped me keep track of my money and expenses. The website was easy to use and I didn't have any problems with it. I liked how it had different categories for expenses and income. It made it easy to see where my money was going. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little slow sometimes. But overall, I would recommend it to anyone who needs help with their finances.

quickbooks is aight, it gets the job done but there's like a million other options out there now that are either free or super cheap. i mean, if you're already used to using quickbooks then it's probably not worth switching over but if you're just starting out or looking for something new, you might wanna check out some of the other options.

overall, i'd say quickbooks is a solid choice if you're already used to it and don't need anything too fancy. but if you're looking for something more customizable or affordable, there are definitely other options out there that might be a better fit for you.
