I misunderstandingly paid for a service that I thought was with another company and QR Code Generator will not refund my subscription payment. Even though I have not created a QR Code with them.

I was looking at both products of QR Code Generator and My QR Code at the same time. I created a code with My QR Code but not with QR Code Generator. However, I kept getting emails that my trial was ending and would lose my code. At the time I couldn't differentiate between the two companies emails. So out of panic I subscribed to QR Code Generator thinking it was My QR Code since I made a code with them. But I never made a code with QR Code Generator. I have tried to cancel and delete my account with QR Code Generator, however the person I emailed communications with states the trial is over and that they cannot refund and that I must use the QR Code I created. However, I have never created a QR Code this this company.

When I initially reached out to their customer service email they stated that they couldn't find my account. It was escalated to another person who says that I was outside the 14 day trial.

I signed up for the subscription on 7/20/23 and was wanting to cancel the subscription on 7/30/23. That is within the 14 day trial.

This leads me to believe that the emails are really with an AI source and not a real person. Even when I asked them to make an exception since I haven't actually used their services at all. The responses have been stern about the policy. I think this is a bad business practice and horrible customer service.

On April 26,2022 I received an email stating I would be charged in 30 days for a subscription through QRCode-Generator. I replied to the customer support email stating I wanted my subscription canceled on the same date (April 26,2022). I received no followup email or any contact from QRCode-Generator.

On May 03,2022 I was charged $172.85 from QRCode-Generator. I contacted the QRCode-Generator support via email on May 05,2022 asking for my refund. I received a response from the QRCode-Generator support team member (Roxy) who could not find my account and asked for my customer ID on May 08,2022. I responded with my customer ID on May 09,2022. On May 09,2022 Roxy let me know that I must email them from the email associated with my account (although I sent and email to no response on April 26,2022 to no response).

I again sent an email on May 09,2022 through my associated email and there was no response. I sent a followup email in May 11,2022 to no response. I have sent another email today on May 12,2022.

My yearly subscription was renewed without a warning and no courtesy was shown even though I have immediately emailed them when I have received the renewal notification.
It is a scam of making money with sneaky renewals rather than a respectful business looking after their customers.

You never expect that dealing with service like that can cost you lots of money. And the only question is - for what? They don't provide anything unique, I guess there are tons of free services in the world. They buy customers on promises of free qr codes. And now see, what happens: the qr code generating is for free, but using it is not. So you have to know it. If you don't pay for a generated code, it will stop functioning.
If you pay for this, then you must know that you will be out of about 75 euro. Much? Yes, that's freaking much. For nothing. Like I said that's not a miracle that should be paid. That's only modern technologies that can be gotten for free.
Don't let them fool you and never pay money for something you can easily get without paying for this.
