Overpayment not paid even after over 30 minutes with a member of your team
I overpaid for transfer twice, first for £29 and the second was for £31. I was informed that £20 from the first overpayment was allocated to one of my transfers and £9 was being held to add to my next transfer but it did not happen and £20 did not reflect in money paid to me. The total due to me from overpayment is now £40. I have tried, without success, many times to get the over payment added a transfer. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone today with a member of your team to try to resolve the problem. The gentleman I spoke to asked me to create new transfer for £360 for £40 to be added to the payment. Then after I had created transfer £360, he changed it £400. He said I will to pay only £360 and he would ensure £40 was added to cover the overpayment. This meant I had two transfer going at the same time. He said he would cancel the transfer for £360 but he did not so I receive payment for £360 not for £400. I had make another £360 payment to world remit account for £400 transfer I created so that the overpayment could be added. The transfer number is [protected] for £400 but I paid £360 for £40 to be added. I am Thomas Douglas Thompson-Quartey.
Desired outcome: I would like £40 overpayment added to the £360 paid today to your account to enable £400 to be paid my Bank Account in Ghana for the Transfer [protected] I created.I DO NOT HAVE A PHOTO ON THIS COMPUTER. YOU HAVE MY DETAILS
Access to my account is Denied and no explanation given.
There is no way to contact a real person to resolve the issue. The phone number they list for contact in the United States is a message that asks you to enter a case number or transaction number. It tells you to go online to get a case number if you don't have one, but there is no way direct way to get a case number online. Also, the line is disconnected after the message is finished playing if you have not entered a case number or transaction number. Since I cannot access my account to send support money to my wife in the Philippines, I cannot obtain a transaction number.
Desired outcome: Restore access to my online account so I can continue sending my wife money in the Philippines while we go through the CR-1 Visa process through the United States.

Mobile money transfer to Zambia
Over the las few months I have tried on several occasions to send money via this method as I have done in the past. However the system will not allow payment via debit or credit card. I have checked the website and not problems or restrictions appear for transfers to Zambia so assumed it must be a technical issue and have contacted Worldremit customer service team, who were extremely polite, but of no help...
It's a pity, as I have found them reliable, it's an easy-to-user friendly website and would encourage friends and family to use them. I'm sorely disappointed, needless to say.
Desired outcome: service re-instated or honest update on website about cessation of service if that is indeed the case.
I'm sending money but the transaction was not done, you took my money. return it back to me.
Hello!
I sent money to the Philippines through world remit last night two times but it seems like there was problem on the sending, so I tried the second time, but still the same situation. I checked my bank account and I found out that 275 Norwegian money was taken in my account. I had proof in my bank that it was taken. I'm demanding to return my money back if the transaction is not successfully sent.
Thanks!
Complinant,
Bartjen Vallermo Runningen
Desired outcome: Please Refund my money or return it back.

money debited - transfert not done: where is my money?
I have been using Worldremit service for quite a while without big issues.
My daughter lives in Kenya so sometime I need to send her money via MPesa.
I have done this the 5th July 2022 for a value of Euro 440,00 (about 51K KES).
Worldremit has taken the amount from my card but fail to credit on the MPesa account.
I have then open a complain with them asking to complete the transfert or to give the money back but they have refuse both options.
Basically I have heard that Worldremit has been banned in some African Countries and therefore they are not able to credit the receipient account but if this is the case why they do not tell when you create the transfert where the Country of destination is well explained. Also why if they cannot to trasfert money in Kenya they still collect money from my credit card and keep them.
Now I have sent other money to my daugther via a safe channel but still Worldremit refuse to cancel the transfert and keept my money.
I must admit that I had trust since I have done many transactions before and the credit was given in few minutes so they have my trust and took advantage of it.
I will also report this to the Italian Authority (where I live) to see if this is a crime but I am quite afraid not to see anymore my money expecially since Worldremit is outside European Union so no guarantee for consumers is given. Do not use worldremit until these problems are sorted or you may lose the money and you need to have extra ones.
Desired outcome: cancelation of the transfert and full refund on my credit card
Money sent through the company and product not received
I was in the process of purchasing a puppy and having her shipped to my home. I was contacted by the shipping agency by text early in the morning on April 26, 2022 at 5:18 am stating it was urgent that I send money right away in order for the puppy to continue on her way to my home. I sent money using my visa card through Worldremit to a Ekema Edith Njumbe in Camaroon for $367.00 USD. The transaction number is [protected]. On the same day at 10:57 am I was again contacted by text stating that another $43.00 was needed and it was urgent as well before they can continue with the transport to my home. I sent the money in the same manner as the first transaction, using my visa card and sending the money through Worldremit. It was being sent to Vance Ulrich Yamene again in Camaroon. Transaction number is [protected]. When I questioned them about the money being sent to Camaroon they informed me that they have an office there. I never did receive the puppy and when the shipping agent contacted me for more money I requested a refund. Which they stated they could not do until I send more money in order to get the puppy reminding me that all the money that I send for the shipping the puppy is refundable. Texts continue wanting more money which I decided not to continue communicating. I have no puppy and I am out the money I sent. I have since found out that I was scammed by the puppy website as well as the delivery agents. I am disappointed and frustrated that Worldremit supports scammers.
Desired outcome: I would like Worldremit to refund all the money I sent.
World Remit transfer to mobile money account in Kenya over one week delayed due to "technical problems"
I transferred an amount one week ago to my mobile money number in Kenya and have been receiving emails several times per day from WorldRemit since, telling me that the payment will be done within 6 hours and that they're having issues with the partner in country. Online chat function and phone conversation were equally based on standard template responses as well. The only response I receive is that it is a technical issue which they are trying to resolve and they don't know how long it will take and can't cancel the transaction. The money has left my account.
Desired outcome: Refund or completion of transaction
Transaction to wrong (non-existing) bank account
Transaction number: [protected]
Made a transaction to a wrong (my) bank account that is not existing according to the receiving bank. The funds should have returned to the issuing bank, in this case an intermediate bank called Metrobank Philippines.
After 3 week, still no progress where the funds are!
Attached the statement issued by WorldRemit on request.
The statement shows all the info about time, amount and intermediate bank (Metrobank).
The correct ING NV Philippines account number is [protected]
Hope this contains enough info.
Desired outcome: return the funds, or send to the correct account

WORLDREMIT is Fraud
It seem the only way WorldRemit appear with a honest facade response is by exposing their fraud.
WorldRemit denies your payment saying your bank denied it, and later its taken from your Bank Account, without any receipt or transaction record from them.
And if you try to call them, they deny taking a call from anyone without a transaction number.
Besides all their hidden exchange rates fees not following the exchange rates scamming people.
This Company should taken down by Tried in Courts
Desired outcome: Pay for all the damage
Your whole organisation, from top to bottom
Yesterday I tried to send some money to myself because I'm traveling for a period of time. I gave you every detail required, correctly, you took my money, then I waited for you to send me the code. You offer a 3 minute service here to Cambodia. I waited much longer than three minutes because I'm not an unreasonable man, but then I got concerned that I had received no code, so I contacted your customer through the online chat thing you have. I spoke with a girl, I think her name was Erica, and I explained the situation. She told me something about an error with the computer system you guys use to transfer money to Cambodia. I believed her, because that's not out with the reams of possiblity. She assured me she'd try to get it fixed today, so I waited to hear back from you. I heard nothing. I wasn't sure what time your chat service closed at, so I didn't contact you again, I just waited for some feedback or a code to my mobile phone or my email address.
Flash forward 24 hours, 12 of which I spent sleeping rough on the streets of Phnom Penh, because I had no money, because you didn't send me the code as you'd promised. My phone died and I had no internet access. I slept on a street in Cambodia. I don't know if you have any idea how petrifying an experience that was, but it was harrowing.
I then manshed to find one of the few places that was opened today due to it being a public holiday here - Khmer New Year. Everywhere shuts. So I found this bar, asked if I could use their WiFi, and their electricity to charge my phone for free, and because they were decent people, they allowed this.
I then contacted your customer service department again today on the same chat service as yesterday to be given a different excuse as to why you failed to provide me with a code to collect the money I had sent to myself. This time I was told that I'd provided an incorrect phone number, which is untrue, so that proves one of your customer service agents was lying to me.
I asked him why you couldn't have sent the code to my email address instead of the phone number, but was given no sufficient answer to this question. I asked him many questions of that nature, all of which he ignored in a similar manner to the first question. He simply repeated the pre prepared phrases you guys teach thesr types of people to use. Anyway, he asked me for me phone number, I gave him the same phone number I gave him yesterday, and he was able to send me a code by email and by phone number.
The problems here are plentiful. The fact that I wasn't contacted by anyone to ask for the correct phone number, the fact I was lied to by both your customer service agents, the fact that you took my money and didn't provide the service you offered me, which is theft, in other words. If I go into a restaurant and order some food, pay for it, but they don't actually give it to me, that is theft. What your company did to me is analogous to that. He was able to provide me with a code by email this afternoon, so why couldn't he do the same yesterday? It's not even in the realms of being a reasonable excuse, and neither is the lie about a computer error.
The customer service agent today provided me with a transcript of the chat I had today, I asked him to.sebd me the one from yesterday, and I also received a phone call from someone at Wing, the local agent you use in Cambodia to hand out the money you steal from customers and don't provide the service you offer who told me that no branch of Wing in the country would be open today. I already knew that, because it's a national holiday here, pretty much like Christmas in the west.
I know if I brought this to a solicitor in the UK, I would win. If I brought it to the FCA, I would be awarded a considerable sum of money. Let's cut out the middle man and you make me a considerable offer to settle this thing immediately. Yout behaviour is blatantly egregious, so I will win a considerable sum of money. I'm not a greedy man, however, and would be willing to settle for a 5 figure sum for what I've suffered as a result of your actions. You stole money from me and made no attempt to rectify the situation. That is theft.
Desired outcome: I want a considerable sum of money for compensation for the trauma I've been through as a result of the action or failure to act by your company. [protected]@gmail.com
