Wisely Ryan G

MyWisely by ADP, is a fantastic way to set up direct deposit not only with your employer, but also for things like tax returns and most importantly stimulus payments. I would like to congratulate MyWisely and ADP for getting me my most recent $600.00 stimulus payment THE FIRST NIGHT THEY STARTED BEING ISSUED. I had woken up the next morning after reading the news and thought: “what are the odds”. I open up MyWisely and there it was and I was in total disbelief.

Meanwhile, large lenders and financial institutions such as Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo and others took up to two weeks. Some still haven’t received their FIRST stimulus, never-mind the second.

E-Banks are the wave of the future. I don’t use traditional banking anymore. Although MyWisely by ADP is supported and run through 5/3 Bank, you’ll never see a fee to store your own money.

Linking accounts with MyWisely by ADP is the only difficult aspect of this service. Linking your debit card is easy and flawless, but linking your physical checking account information can be difficult with apps like Cash App, Venmo, or Chime as MyWisely by ADP was previously known as “Global Cash Card”. Type in “Cash” through limited search options in money transfer apps such as Cash App, to bring up the option: “MyWisely (formerly known as Global Cash Card.)”

Overall, for someone that needs a quick bank account to get paid, go for it.

Wisely So many promises, none of them kept

Just to start, I am in the process of leaving my job and this payment form was a big part of that decision.

My employer has recently switched to this rather than cash payout at the end of the night and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. The entire staff has had nothing but issues.

My first issue is with this “2-3 business days” nonsense. I’m still waiting after 5 and 7 business days for 3 separate deposits. I’ve seen several instances of it taking a week to deposit from this card to your bank account.

Another huge issue is them advertising you can pay bills with this card. It is technically considered a prepaid card, so unless you have bills with anywhere that will accept that, you’re out of luck.

My final issue is the ridiculous fees they like to tack on with little notice. A $7.50 “wisely transaction” fee in addition to a traditional atm fee? It’s just ridiculous these people are scamming people into giving them their business.

All in all, this app has made keeping track of my finances a nightmare. I never know if my money will be in my account on time for my bills to pull from, since I can’t pay them with this sad excuse for a financial service as they advertise. Hopefully I’m onto a new job soon that doesn’t entertain nonsense like this. With so many 5 stars I’m guessing it’s either paid reviews or companies that have deals with them for their payroll. Anyways, if your employer suggests this, push back on it. It’s not the future, it’s not easier, and it’s not convenient.

Wisely Horrible customer service

I recently called to report a suspicious charge on my card. The person told me it would be looked into and a letter would be sent out to me. Little did I know that they were going to cancel my card. The person on the phone never explained this to me.o had to find it out on my own when I went to the store and the card was declined. I call customer service and they offered to send me the new card overnight for a $30 fee. Haha nice way for them to make some money. So I told them no and I had to wait a week until a new card is sent out. The new card finally arrives and I have to call to set up my Apple wallet. After answering multiple questions they told me it was taken care of and that it would be ready to use. Well a few days pass and I’m still not able to link my card to Apple wallet. I call again and they tell me it takes three business days for the process to take place. I’m beyond frustrated now. I ask to speak to a manager, I get put on hold and hung up on. So I just wait four more days and guess what? It’s still not working. So I have to call “customer service” yet again. So this time the lady says “yes it was suppose to be working by now but I am going to file a report and it should be working in three days.” Seriously? I then ask to speak to someone in charge and they tell me that they can not transfer the call to anyone and that someone will call me back in 2 to 3 hours. This has been unreal. I trust this company with my money and they can not provide the services that they promise to provide.

Wisely Piece of Crap card

My employer uses Wisely as a pay card. I also drive with Uber so I decided to have my Uber pay loaded onto the Wisely card, too. However, the only way this can be done is by getting a free “upgraded card.” Through the app, I followed the link to upgrade the card. When I clicked “upgrade,” there was a notice that said my identity had to be verified and if it could not be verified the acct would be closed in 30 days. I clicked continue and was asked to verify the info in my profile. I clicked continue and the very next screen said, “We were unable to verify your identity. Your acct will be closed in 30 days.”

I panicked and then selected the chat feature in the app to chat with a rep. That person gave me a website where I could upload my ID and SSN and have the acct reviewed. I was told a review could take 2-3 business days. I gave them 5 days before calling today for an update. I was told by a low-level rep and then by Supervisor “Diego” that when “the system” gives the notice that the acct will be closed there is nothing they can do to reverse or fix it.

In summary:

1) By trying to upgrade this card, Wisely screwed me because there is apparently a bug in their tech that is automatically closing accts when someone tries to upgrade.

2) Once “the system” decides to close your acct, this is irreversible and there is nothing that a human rep for Wisely can do to fix it (even after they tell you there is something they can do to fix it.)

Now I get the hassle of having to go down all the way to HR to change my payment to direct deposit.

Don’t bother with this card. If you have a real bank, like me, just opt for direct deposit and save yourself some hassle.

Wisely Zero stars if possible

My employer uses Wisely to deposit my paycheck. The problem is trying to get access to my own funds through Wisely. First I tried to set up my bank account because the Wisely app says you can transfer funds directly to another bank. I put in my bank information, swiped to confirm the amount I wanted to transfer, and got an error message, “Sorry! There was a problem.” I checked to make sure I had entered the bank information correctly, tried the transfer again, and got the same informative message, “Sorry! There was a problem.” I tried a third time, with a smaller dollar amount, and got the same message. Next I thought maybe for some reason it doesn’t like that bank. There’s another bank I do business with, so I put in that bank’s information. I tried to transfer to that bank and, you guessed it, “Sorry! There was a problem.” Then I thought of another option. Wisely provides their own routing number and account information. I entered this information into my credit card account to make a payment toward my credit card. To my surprise, it went through just fine! Great, apparently I found a way to access my money. But wait, not so fast! Month two comes, and I set up my credit card payment the same way as last month. Then my credit card company sends me a notice that there were insufficient funds in the account even though there were plenty of funds! I had submitted the payment a week after the funds were deposited to my account and was only using a portion of the available funds. The credit card notice said they would try again over the next few days, and in the end sent me a follow-up notice saying the payment was returned with return reason: uncollectible funds, along with a $29 charge for returned payment fee. As of now I still haven’t figured out how to get access to my funds electronically.

Developer response says to contact them so they can look into it. I did that a week ago and have not heard back.

Wisely Dreadful APP & COMPANY

I am as easy going as they come. Now in saying that, I don’t understand how such a baseline awful company such as wisely is actually up and running. You have to be a complete imbecile to enjoy using this company’s banking cards. I have had to pay numerous late fees because this company didn’t process my payments, canceled my payments, and the list goes on. For me privacy is very important; that being said I do not understand how this company finds it effectively efficient to go ahead with no warning and lock a said persons personal account based on what they say is more “frequently than normal activity”, instead of just setting up an automated messaging code to ask if the transactions was indeed the owner of the account/card. I waited on the phone for a half hour tonight waiting for a representative to unlock my account because I was trying to pay rent as I always struggle to do using wisely, just to be hung up on and never get the chance to talk to anybody at all. I’d also like to add 30 minutes is on the lower side of Time I’ve spent waiting to be assisted. To add to that, you can hardly understand half of the people on the assistant service as it is, and in all honesty you’re lucky if someone picks your call up as-well. Before you say well why didn’t you just go with a new card company, the job I have had set me up with this card company and wouldn’t let me use my personal debit card to get paid so I’ve been stuck with wisely and to say the least I’m as disappointed as I think humanly possible with them. My frustration is unmeasurable and for your sanity and the sake of actually 24/7 having access to your hard earned personal money I recommend avoiding wisely if at all possible. The mismanaged and foolish way this company is ran shouldn’t even be legal. I’ve never dealt with this much from one card company within a 6 month period. (0-10) do not recommend just incase you didn’t read the rest of what I wrote.

Wisely Negligent

Very disappointed in my customer service experience and in the companys’ negligence overall to assist me with my problem. My Wisely card expired before I was able to register it, and I was told by customer service that to access my account/money I again needed to submit documentation to verify my identity so they could send me a new card. I submitted the needed forms and after the process to verify me took 3 business days, plus another 7 business days to get the new Wisely card mailed to me. After receiving my new Wisely card and registering it online I was then informed that there was no money in my account, because a check had been mailed to me 3 months prior. The agent I spoke with obviously didn’t understand my problem and took no time to look into the matter further. They wasted my time and their own with a verification process that was not necessary.

My second custom service experience with them was just as terrible. My initial Wisely card was mailed to the wrong address, which is why I never received it. The card was then mailed back to my employer as undeliverable from the post office. Instead of contacting me for updated information, they simply closed my account and mailed a check to the same address they had on file which they had proof of was incorrect. My check was never received by me and I was told there’s nothing they can do. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told there was no way for me to contact other departments, and that I was speaking to and I quote “the supervisor of the supervisors department”. I plan to continue my dispute with legal action but ultimately I’m frustrated that all of this could have been avoided with a phone call or email to me for updated information. For a company that boasts about its protection policies in place for all of their customers, they fail in one of the most basic aspects of a financial institution - attention to detail. The lack of concern for me as a client has been truly alarming.

Wisely This is the most frustrating app ever

Every. Single. Time. You open this app, it acts like a new app, like it was just downloaded. It brings you to the page where it says “Welcome to Wisely” and you choose “Login” or “Get Started”. So you click “Login”. The terms and conditions pop up, forcing you to scroll to the bottom and click accept. Then it takes you back to the screen you were just at. Click login, again. It takes you to the “Username and Password” screen. You click “Remember Me” and “Enable Touch ID”. Except the next time you log in, you have to do allllllllll theses steps all over again. It never remembers you. I just closed my app not even 2 minutes ago and tried to open it again. It made me do all these steps once again. Seriously? This is ridiculous. I wrote a review a few weeks ago and it worked the way it should work for one day. Now it’s back to this. It’s so frustrating!

Wisely Frauddddds

I called today. I’ve never had issues todayI believe wisely be taking money from us. So I called to get my account and routing number to file taxes. He asked for my social birthday address and phone number that was okay. Remind u this my second time calling you can never be so sure didn’t want my money to be sent to nobody else. So he looks up a totally different acct using my “information” I gave him and gives me a different person bank information I don’t know who it belong to but I called back a 3rd time because he sounded fishy I didn’t even hear him typing like I usually do when they’re asking for my information. I call back the third time the lady say “this acct # u gave me is registered to a different person after I already E-filed. After 3 years they have lost me. I don’t like the sneakiness when you guys getting wayyyy more money then I am and you have loyal customers and do them so bad !

Wisely It somehow worse than trash

I’m not joking this is the worst thing I have ever gone through. The app is aggravating, it boggles the mind how they can treat there costumers like this.

I tried to make an account the first they I received the card. Had it activated was all smooth. Then using the app, tells me “having trouble locating your account. Please try later.” So I waited, same thing. Did this for over half an hour. Talk to there costumer service, helped me as much as they could but there was nothing they could do. Called five times for an an hour which was pointless.

What makes this worse than trash is I’ve been trying for over 10 days now. It is irritating that I can’t see or know when my check drops. Money I need for bills. Trash apps are annoying and takes up space but it’s not like we need it to live. But this app actually is important for my life.

I really do hate making a review so negative but this is idiotic, [censored]ic, and insane. I hate I am put in a situation like this.

Wisely Third review

This is my third review, somehow they keep disappearing. Let's try again. This card blows. I'd give zero stars if I could. No early deposit, unless you"upgrade" your card. Every other card does this automatically. Card doesn't work and checkout half the time. You can't have separate accounts for each card, which makes checking the balance a fun experience, unless you have the primary card holders credentials. And to top it all off, I went to several places listed on the Wisley site to reload the card and NONE of them could do it. Walgreens, CVS, 7-11 and Walmart. Lovely. I just love spending my afternoon running around for no reason. HR forced people to this card, because they said they no longer deposit to GreenDot. Pretty sure that's not legal. Save yourself the headache and just go with GreenDot. SO much better. To be honest, after reading other reviews, I don't understand how this card has 4.8 stars. And I’m using FaceId for f sake, stop “confirming my identity “ with a code every other time I open the app!
