Unreliable and Unhelpful: My Experience with Wisely Prepaid Card
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Wisely. Let me start with the ATM fees - they claim that all point ATMs are in their network, but when I tried to use one, they hit me with a fee. What's up with that? And don't even get me started on their customer service. I couldn't understand a word they were saying, and when I tried to get a refund for a fee they charged me at a Fifth Third Bank ATM, they hung up on me! And that's not even the worst part.
I went into a Fifth Third Bank to do an over-the-counter transaction, and the manager there had no idea what Wisely was. They wouldn't do any transactions for me, not even a cash advance. It's like Wisely is just making stuff up on their website. And when I tried to get my money back, they just ignored me or hung up on me. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Wisely to anyone. They're just a bunch of liars who take your money without a second thought. Save yourself the trouble and find a different prepaid card company.
Disappointing Customer Service and Security: My Experience with Wisely
I recently had a very frustrating experience with Wisely. I noticed that there were 23 fraudulent transactions on my account, all related to Apple purchases. I immediately contacted Wisely to report the issue and was told that it would take 90 days to get my money back. I was disappointed, but I understood that these things take time.
However, when I followed up with Wisely a few days later, I discovered that they had only filed a dispute for two of the 23 transactions. I was absolutely livid! I have three kids to take care of, and now I have to wait 90 days for $400. I spoke with seven different representatives, and none of them were able to help me. They were all difficult to understand, and I had a hard time communicating with them. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was hung up on three times.
I am extremely frustrated with Wisely's policies and procedures. My funds should be secure, but they were not. In the past, I have been able to call and have my funds put back into my account until the investigation is complete. But this time, I was left feeling hopeless and helpless. I am so angry that this happened, and I don't understand how it could have happened.
The representatives at Wisely were not helpful at all, and I am very disappointed with their customer service. I am seriously considering closing my account as soon as I receive my tax refund. I cannot continue to do business with a company that does not take my security seriously.
Terrible Card Service: Late Delivery, Faulty Card, and Poor Customer Support
This card service is not good at all. I had to get a new card because someone stole my old one. I asked the person on the phone to wait for an hour so I could take out my money. But when I got to the ATM, my card didn't work! I called them back and they said they couldn't fix it. So I paid extra to get a new card in 2-3 days. But it took 6 days to arrive! I called them a lot to try to get my money, but no one would cash my check. I had to wait for my new card and my bills were late. I talked to a manager who said they would give me my money back, but I had to wait for my new card. When I called back, they didn't want to give me my money back. They said my check would put the money in my new card in 2-3 days. But it took 2 weeks! I'm so mad at them! They won't give me my money back and they won't let me talk to a manager. They should be ashamed of themselves! Don't use this service! Use a bank where you can go inside and talk to someone. It's not worth the trouble!
Evertime I call they same stuff is said send id etc I've done that several times I never had a problem until 2 months ago now its mental stress trying to get them to do they jobs if my stuff is not resolve by Friday I am going to smalls claim court this is a mess can’t login on my account at all please fix your system issues
3 w weeks ago I had a disagreement with an agent at wisely. He threatened I would have issues with my card. Now my card is blocked from my providers online. Internet shut off. Phones shut off before I knew it. They were set up as automatic pay. This is a horrible company
they never activate my card
I was setting up my card for Apple Pay had to verify through wisely I called gave them every detail repeatedly they transferred me to 4 agents placing me on hold forever never returning not explaining never verifying. Agent was yawning during the call. Poor customer service and very unprofessional. It did not accomplish NOTHING.
I was told that my dispute would be handled by the end of today Sept 2 2023. My claim has not yet been handled and I'm getting the same answer. It's still under investigation. I sent in the forms. And my dispute is not handled for the 95.75 cents.
My phone was stolen and it had bank info on it. I had money stolen. And there are more charges on my account unauthorized. I got sent forms to fill out . My funds have not been replaced and I've been waiting on a amazon reimbursement.
This is the most frustrating app ever
Every. Single. Time. You open this app, it acts like a new app, like it was just downloaded. It brings you to the page where it says “Welcome to Wisely” and you choose “Login” or “Get Started”. So you click “Login”. The terms and conditions pop up, forcing you to scroll to the bottom and click accept. Then it takes you back to the screen you were just at. Click login, again. It takes you to the “Username and Password” screen. You click “Remember Me” and “Enable Touch ID”. Except the next time you log in, you have to do allllllllll theses steps all over again. It never remembers you. I just closed my app not even 2 minutes ago and tried to open it again. It made me do all these steps once again. Seriously? This is ridiculous. I wrote a review a few weeks ago and it worked the way it should work for one day. Now it’s back to this. It’s so frustrating!

Frauddddds
I called today. I’ve never had issues todayI believe wisely be taking money from us. So I called to get my account and routing number to file taxes. He asked for my social birthday address and phone number that was okay. Remind u this my second time calling you can never be so sure didn’t want my money to be sent to nobody else. So he looks up a totally different acct using my “information” I gave him and gives me a different person bank information I don’t know who it belong to but I called back a 3rd time because he sounded fishy I didn’t even hear him typing like I usually do when they’re asking for my information. I call back the third time the lady say “this acct # u gave me is registered to a different person after I already E-filed. After 3 years they have lost me. I don’t like the sneakiness when you guys getting wayyyy more money then I am and you have loyal customers and do them so bad !

It somehow worse than trash
I’m not joking this is the worst thing I have ever gone through. The app is aggravating, it boggles the mind how they can treat there costumers like this.
I tried to make an account the first they I received the card. Had it activated was all smooth. Then using the app, tells me “having trouble locating your account. Please try later.” So I waited, same thing. Did this for over half an hour. Talk to there costumer service, helped me as much as they could but there was nothing they could do. Called five times for an an hour which was pointless.
What makes this worse than trash is I’ve been trying for over 10 days now. It is irritating that I can’t see or know when my check drops. Money I need for bills. Trash apps are annoying and takes up space but it’s not like we need it to live. But this app actually is important for my life.
I really do hate making a review so negative but this is idiotic, [censored]ic, and insane. I hate I am put in a situation like this.

Third review
This is my third review, somehow they keep disappearing. Let's try again. This card blows. I'd give zero stars if I could. No early deposit, unless you"upgrade" your card. Every other card does this automatically. Card doesn't work and checkout half the time. You can't have separate accounts for each card, which makes checking the balance a fun experience, unless you have the primary card holders credentials. And to top it all off, I went to several places listed on the Wisley site to reload the card and NONE of them could do it. Walgreens, CVS, 7-11 and Walmart. Lovely. I just love spending my afternoon running around for no reason. HR forced people to this card, because they said they no longer deposit to GreenDot. Pretty sure that's not legal. Save yourself the headache and just go with GreenDot. SO much better. To be honest, after reading other reviews, I don't understand how this card has 4.8 stars. And I’m using FaceId for f sake, stop “confirming my identity “ with a code every other time I open the app!

On march 30 i requested a peplacemant card never recieved it on april14 i requested another card to be overnighted and was given a fake tracking number and still no card.
This company has stolen my money.
On 11.09.23 I was double charged for 628.08. i contacted wisely and they arent giving me my money back even though it is clear
I lost my debit card and called customer service reported it and ordered new card. I got the card today and card would not work. after hours I finally talked to someone and they said I called while I was waiting for replacement card cancelled it and ordered anther one
