Window World review: windows and trim

Larry, the salesman came to my house and gave me an estimate for 8 windows. this is what it reads: window with outside wrap with low-e, no grids. $339.($2712) qualifies for $84. tax credit, haul off for house $75. I agreed, contract drawn up. series 4000 DH All-welded white_ $205 $1640. So, not know 'their' terminology, i thought that he was writing this up as he said and wrote on the estimate. (i also pd for 3 windows for my in-laws). on the contract, it states that series 4000 & 6000 qualifies for federal tax credit. Also, 9 custom Exterior Trim(wrap) $60, $480.
WE had 8 windows installed by 'their' subcontractors 7/9/10. Taking out our old windows, windows were broke, glass left, their lunches left, their 'garbage' left. they said they were done, but there wasn't any 'wrap' on the outside of the window and nothing placed on the inside. So i got in touch w/Mike(mgr) and the subs and me and my husband went to lowes to get the wood for the inside trip around our windows. Which we had to pay for. We also had to paint them(now this is in July 100 deg weather). I took the price of the wood off what i owed when the job was complete. The subs 'nailed' the trip on the outside and dented our siding, did not match the outside trim corners. During the winter, we had to put plastic around one window because of the cold and wind coming in. We had moisture coming in around the windows. I called 'Mike' and he told me we didn't have the low-E windows. And we didn't pay for them. I told him that was on the estimate and that is what i wanted. He said I didn't pay for them, so therefore i didn't get them. A few windows would not life or lock. I have been calling and calling 'Mike' for a yr. One man they sent out told me that we would have to fix the windows that wouldn't lift ourselves. finally in june of 2011, a man from Fl, corp off came to investigate and had the windows fixed right then and there. He told 'Mike' that the trim on the outside was to be replace asap. i received a call from Mike that they would be out here on june 17th..no show, no call. i called corp, and he Mike called me saying that they would be out here 6/28..he said it was raining but they were coming..they came and left. since then, no calls! I would NEVER NEVER EVER recommend this company to my worst enemy! I will call corp again and go higher in corp this time.
