My car got very hot on a Saturday afternoon. I called Nissan after their service hours and was told to bring it in so they could look at it. I arrived on Monday morning and they said they did not have a shuttle service, so I had to find my own way to work.
Later, the service person called me at 5:55 pm to tell me that the cooling fan in my 2019 Nissan Rogue was not working and it was on back order for some time. I explained to him that I have a vacation planned out of state soon, and he told me I cannot use a Nissan rental and suggested I call Enterprise to get a vehicle. I told him I did not have the money to pay for a rental for an unknown period of time, and it was almost closing time, so how could I get a vehicle so late?
He managed to secure a car for me and got the rate down to $35 per day, assuring me that with the package I have, I would be fully reimbursed. He and another person also assured me of this. It took 5 weeks to get the part, and I spent $1545.35. When I submitted everything for reimbursement, I was told I do not have coverage and would only get $35 for 5 days.
I called and complained on ComplaintsBoard.com, but I only got a partial refund. I am still waiting for the remaining amount that is due to me.
