If only I had more time to express my feelings about this car dealership. I will try to explain briefly. I saw a used car online that they had, and I talked with a salesperson named Mike who was very insistent and not polite. The dealership was far from my place, about an hour and a half drive. I was ready to pay $10,000 for the car and I had the money ready. I wanted to be sure the car would still be there if I decided to make the long trip. Mike suggested I should fill out all the paperwork beforehand to make everything faster when I arrived, in case I liked the car. I did not appreciate his tone, so I called back later to tell him I changed my mind and would not visit to see the car.
However, this man still checked my credit without my real permission, and he did it even after I informed him I would not come. I contacted the manager, David, to talk about this issue and to ask him to tell the credit bureaus that I did not allow this. David told me that by completing the forms, I had given them permission to check my credit. I tried to explain that Mike did the credit check after I said I would not come to see the car, but can you believe it? David laughed at me. He said there was nothing he could do. I am very upset with this dealership.
