Avoid – completely misleading and unprofessional

I got an online price for my 2-year-old Mercedes SL and took it to WeBuyAnyCar for a proper valuation. They knocked £750 off for a very small scratch – fair enough. I was then told I had 4 days under their price promise and asked for 24 hours to think about it.

About 36 hours later, well within that time, I went back and accepted the offer. The salesman agreed and started the process. Then, to both his amazement and mine, the offer suddenly dropped by over £10,000.

I was told he needed to contact head office and it would take an hour or two. I waited all day yesterday – no phone call. Today, still no call, no email, no explanation.

This feels incredibly misleading and unprofessional. It honestly left me feeling like they were hoping I was desperate and would just hand the car over without questioning it.

I would strongly rethink using WeBuyAnyCar and suggest looking elsewhere if you value transparency and honesty.
