My wife and I have used other travel agents and have been less than pleased. Then many years ago I met Jamie at a gas station, we introduced ourselves and went onto trying him out. The rest is history, for over a decade he's the only travel agent we'll use! economy, knowledge, friendly and always a happy person. He is the EXPERT we go to for domestic and foreign travel, business or fun adventures. He gets the job done.

Just returned from our second trip planned and booked through Jamie. The first was our two and a half week honeymoon through central Europe before the pandemic, the second a last-minute 6-day trip across Ireland. Both times Jamie has been so thoughtful and helpful in asking just the right questions of us to be sure he could plan us the perfect trip. His attention to detail and breadth of knowledge is why we booked through him again and will continue to do so moving forward!

We started planning our September trip to Spain with Jamie in 2019 and due to Covid, we were not able to go until September and through all the date changes and waiting, our trip was absolutely wonderful! The locations we were able to visit, the hotels, the personal walking tours as well as the restaurants that were recommended were all top notch and made the trip worth the wait. We truly enjoyed our 10-day trip to the Andalucia region of Spain and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Jamie!

Jamie's work is from the heart..it's what he loves. He can make your dream vacation come true. When all opens up again, I recommend that you utilize his expertise in all sorts of travel.. Our Italy trip was like a dream. Poland was awesome. We had to cancel our Rhine Cruise because of the pandemic but with Jamie as our agent, everything went very smoothly. So personable, such detailed planning about what we like and are comfy with. Nothing to worry about..You'll thank us. Stay safe, stay home for now...but look to future travel.

Jamie booked a vacation for us in Argentina. We were incredibly impressed in his ability to learn about us and what we like to do and how we like to travel. His recommendations and activities he booked were right on! It left us feeling as though we really got to experience Argentinian culture and the tours and activities were top notch. His organization of all our activities made it a tremendous vacation and simplified it all to the point we just had to open up the app to see what we were doing next. We will be using Jamie for our future vacation plans

Jamie planned our honeymoon to Italy. It was everything we dreamed of. We started in Rome. He set us up in a hotel walking distance to the coliseum, it was spectacular views at night on our balcony too! Then on to Florence, tours all were wonderful, then on to Venice ended our trip with a gondola serenaded ride down the canal. Amazing experience and Jamie did an amazing job. Looking forward to our next trip that is coming 2021 to Alaska that Jamie is planning and due to Covid is making a smooth transition to next year from this year. I would highly recommend Jamie!

Planes, trains, automobiles, rentals, personal drivers and guides, ferries, restaurants and eateries, as well as a camel ride to an overnight tent stay in the Sahara. No matter how bizarre my request, Jamie was able to find a way to get me to experience exactly what I dreamed of. Problems? Yup, two. A hotel in Germany that was not to my liking and a guide in Moscow who was not, in my opinion, adequate. Both situations resolved within a couple of hours! Looking forward to creating more trails across this magnificent world of ours… Jamie will be there to lead the way. SHARON

Jamie has created some fantastic itineraries for me and my husband. He does an excellent job of understanding how we like to travel, things we like to do and he finds the perfect spots and recommendations for us every time. Each time we book with him I have full confidence that I am going to like everything. Jamie also makes using his services incredibly easy. And, he is well traveled which means, if you are lucky, he may be in your area and pay you an in person visit. I loved being able to meet the man behind the curtain :). I have recommended Jamie to many friends and clients. He is a gem of a find!

My husband and I just returned from a 2 1/2 week adventure to Spain organized by Jamie. It was our fourth trip to Europe that Jamie had planned for us. He is so knowledgeable on travel and outstanding on being reliable. We couldn't have asked for more. Jamie organized our beautiful hotels, private transportation, city tours, guides, train tickets, bus tickets and car rental. We traveled from Barcelona to Madrid, Seville, Toledo, Segovia, Granada & Malaga without a glitch. Even traveling during the pandemic was easy with Jamie's help with lining up Covid testing and the international paperwork. He is a wealth of information.

Jamie helped us plan our 30th Anniversary trip and when Covid hit, we felt very fortunate to have his help and guidance. Jamie was easy to commnicate with and always prompt to reply to any question or concern we had, even when he was on the road himself! The trip became a 31st Anniversary celebration and earned the hashtag, #tripofalifetime! His connections in Portugal helped customize our tour with a great mix of activities that helped us enjoy and appreciate the unique history, culture, food, and geography of Portgal! We would love to work with him again and are recommending the Wandering Puffin to all our friends! Thank you Jamie!

Harold K Jamie booked for my wife and me and another couple who traveled with us during the summer of 2018. The primary focus of our trip was Romania but he also suggested a few days in Prague, CR and Budapest, H with recommendations of things to see both places. Jamie arrange the air travel, train tickets as well as car rental. Everything was extremely well planned and and very easy for us to follow. It made our trip very convenient and comfortable. In our case we had some open dates when we were travelling with friends in Romania. Jamie planned the items and days we needed and was very flexible with our needs. We were extremely pleased with his service and recommend him without reservation.

Jamie has booked multiple trips for our family, including Iceland and Italy. The trips were spectacular and very well organized. Jamie, sends you to places and people that he himself has experienced, and so in many ways, he is your tour guide. The confidence and expectations about the trips Jamie puts together couldn't be higher knowing that someone with a personal investment and destination enthusiasm is taking care of you. Jamie, is easy to work with, down-to-earth, and listens to what you are looking for in an experiential journey. I trust him to find the perfect balance of foreign local experience and safety, while keeping people of all ages and interests engaged throughout the trips he puts together. Our family calls no one else for travel.

In 2014, Jamie and the Wandering Puffin helped me plan a nearly 2-week trip to Ireland for our honeymoon. Impressive! We really wanted to reduce our carbon footprint by NOT driving oursleves and focusing on public transportation around the Emerald Isle. Jamie knocked this request outta the park! Jamie organized our trip from Day 1 thru Day 13, down to the mile. The folder he shared with us had everything we needed - train tickets and schedules, city bus schedules, hotel info, dining options - right down to turn-by-turn walking maps from the train station to our hotels. Jamie's recommendations on when to walk vs. bus vs. cab were spot on - flawless. Highly recommend Jamie and his guidance. Just typing this, I want to call Jamie and plan a trip! :-) ~Dee

Jamie was impressively helpful when we needed to make fast arrangements to transport our daughter to medical school at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. He made sure we had all of the necessary COVID-19 protocol information for Grenada, and getting back into the US. He setup ground transportation, overnight hotel rooms in New York, and found an outstanding resort in Grenada. He was in regular communication with us, either answered or promptly returned our calls (we had several - this trip came up very quickly and required a ton of organization by someone who knew what they were doing, and Jamie did), and generally made something already expensive and chaotic much easier to deal with. He even set us up with flight transfer help because our daughter broke her leg in four places just a few days before we left to take her to medical school. Going forward, Jamie is our "travel guy!"

Jamie has worked with me for about 10 years as I have planned mission trips to Europe. He has always been able to help me find safe travels, through difficult passages, and at dangerous hours for a woman with a traveling group. He has found avenues of travel for me that even locals did not know about which served to get me from one country, through customs, and back safely. I have called on him in the middle of the night for him when airlines suddenly changed my travel plans and I was able to get where I needed to be in time for the next available flight out of a country where all other travel was blocked. When things did not go well, the travel insurance he recommended attempted to take me out of a bad situation and place me in a safe place, and I was reimbursed for my troubles. I often travel with children, some who are disabled, Jamie was able to hook me up with safe travel for all. He is great and he knows his business.
