I subscribed to Megavolotea because I found the membership worthwhile, and the birthday credit was an extra benefit.
Unfortunately, I later discovered that the birthday credit is subject to a 15-day acceptance period and a further 15-day validity period. These conditions were not included in the Terms and Conditions or on the website when I subscribed. Customer service even confirmed in writing that this information is not available on the website and is only communicated later by email.
My complaint was rejected with repeated template responses that did not address my concerns. My issue is not the existence of these conditions, but that they were not clearly disclosed before I purchased the subscription. I hope Volotea improves the transparency of the Megavolotea programme for future customers.
Recommendation: Be aware of the non disclosed birthday credit conditions
