Vodafone Australia Vodafone Australia's Dangerous Practice of Turning Off Phones Without Warning

Vodafone Australia is a mobile phone company that has been causing a lot of trouble for me and many others. They have a bad habit of turning off people's phones at midnight on the expiry date without any warning. This is a big problem because it puts people's health at risk, especially those who are victims of domestic violence and need their phones for safety.

I have personally experienced this problem five times in the past ten years, and it's always because Vodafone is trying to get people to buy new phones and plans. This is a dangerous practice that needs to stop.

It's not just Australians who are affected by this problem. The international community is also at risk because Vodafone operates in many different countries. This means that people all over the world could be in danger if they rely on their phones for safety and Vodafone decides to turn them off without warning.

Overall, I would not recommend Vodafone Australia to anyone. Their dangerous practices are putting people's lives at risk, and they need to take responsibility for their actions. If you're looking for a mobile phone company, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Vodafone Australia Unwanted Charge for International Call: My Experience with Vodafone Australia

So, I had a bit of an issue with Vodafone Australia recently. I noticed a charge of $163 on my bill for a call to Liberia, which was a bit strange since I don't know anyone there and I'm from Sri Lanka. I called up customer care to see if they could help me out, but unfortunately they couldn't do much since the charge was already on my bill.

I explained to the customer care representative that I hadn't made the call and that my phone wasn't even in use during that time since I was at work. But, she said that her manager would give me a call back to try and sort things out.

I'm still waiting for that call, but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the whole situation. It's frustrating to have to pay for something that I didn't even use, and it's even more frustrating that it's taking so long to get it sorted out.

Overall, I've had a pretty good experience with Vodafone Australia in the past, but this incident has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they can resolve the issue soon so that I can continue to be a satisfied customer.

Vodafone Australia Untrustworthy and Unreliable: My Experience with Vodafone Australia

I'm back with another review about Vodafone Australia and I gotta say, my situation still hasn't been resolved. I've been on the phone with them multiple times and they keep telling me that the refund they owe me is being processed to my bank account, but it never seems to come through. It's like they're playing a game of cat and mouse with me. They say one thing and then do another. It's frustrating to say the least.

Every time I call them, they tell me that the refund is on its way, but then they turn around and say that it's been used for credit. I specifically asked them not to do that, but they did it anyway. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. They just want to keep our money and make it as difficult as possible for us to get it back.

I have to call them back every time to re-explain my situation and beg them to give me the money they owe me. It's like pulling teeth. They lie and lie and lie some more. They tell you what you want to hear, but they never follow through. It's absolutely disgusting.

Honestly, I think they should be shut down. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. I asked for a refund because they charged me $6.99 for an Amazon Prime account that I wasn't even using for years. And even when they offered me 12 months back, it was like they were doing me a favor. SMH.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Vodafone Australia to anyone. They are untrustworthy and unreliable. If you're looking for a mobile phone provider, look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else.

Vodafone Australia Terrible Experience with Vodafone Australia: Faulty Phone and Poor Customer Service

So, I recently purchased a phone from Vodafone Australia and followed all the instructions given to me. I let the phone charge for a while before using it. However, to my dismay, the battery ran out within just 5 hours of usage, even though I hadn't used it much. I had to charge it every 4 hours, or else it would die. To make matters worse, the phone kept turning itself off.

I decided to visit one of their stores to get it checked out. However, the lady at the store told me that I couldn't return it. I was shocked! I had only had the phone for 48 hours. I then went to another store, hoping to get a better response. But, to my disappointment, they also refused to return it. However, they did offer to swap it for another phone. I wasn't too keen on getting the same phone again, as my sister had the same problem with hers.

Anyway, I had no choice but to swap it for the same phone. But, to my surprise, the new phone had the same issue. I went back to the store, hoping to get a resolution. But, the workers were rude and unhelpful. They refused to swap it again, stating that it had already been swapped once.

Overall, I had a terrible experience with Vodafone Australia. The workers were nasty, and their return policy was terrible. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from them.

Vodafone Australia Unethical Business Practices: My Nightmare Experience with Vodafone Australia

My experience with Vodafone Australia has been nothing short of a nightmare. I recently lost my phone and needed to remove call barring, which led me to speak with John from the upgrades department. During our conversation, he offered me a new package with reduced internet costs and a bundle package with three free phones - two iPhone 13s and one Samsung S21 FE. I was skeptical, but John assured me that as a loyal and long-term customer, this was correct. I agreed and was transferred to sales, only to find out that Vodafone does not offer free phones. I spent 5.5 hours on the phone with multiple representatives, experiencing many disconnections and feeling completely exhausted by the end of it.

To make matters worse, I discovered that Vodafone can alter and increase my contract fees without my consent, but if I want to cancel, I have to pay them out. My contract wasn't set to finish until March 30th, 2022, but my account was altered immediately on January 24th, 2022. It's clear that Vodafone took full advantage of my stressful situation and slithered in to take advantage of me as a customer.

This isn't the first time Vodafone has done this to me, either. In 2019, they offered me a "free" Galaxy Tab A8, which came with a price tag of $449. I felt like I wasn't in control of my wants, and Vodafone was telling me what to do and what to buy. They even tried to lock me into another 36-month contract after today's service.

I am thoroughly disgusted with Vodafone Australia and their unethical business practices. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of their customers in this way. I will never use Vodafone again and would advise others to be very wary of their offers and contracts.

Vodafone Australia Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Vodafone Australia

Australia is a beautiful country with a welcoming spirit, but it seems that customer service has taken a back seat in recent times. As a small buyer, I have experienced this firsthand with Vodafone Australia. I purchased a Samsung Z3 for $2,600 and paid an additional $200 for an extended warranty. I was happy with the phone until I encountered a problem with the tablet view not working. When I contacted Vodafone customer service, they couldn't see my purchase and directed me to the store where I bought it from.

I went to a different Vodafone store, but the seller was on the phone and didn't seem interested in helping me. She told me to go to Samsung, even though I had purchased the product at Vodafone and it was still under warranty. This lack of customer service seems to be a common trend these days. Instead of providing good customer service, it's easier for companies to say that they can't help and kick the customer out of the store.

I went to the Samsung service center in the city, but they were closed on Sundays. When I went to the Vodafone store in Southland, they couldn't help me because I had purchased the phone at a different Vodafone store. I went to the Vodafone store on level 2, but they only sold products and didn't service them. I asked them to give me a refurbished phone and transfer my data, but they refused.

I asked to speak with the manager/supervisor, but instead, two security men came along and accused me of threatening them. Even the security men were shocked by the situation and told the sellers to do the right thing and give me a new phone or a simple Samsung to transfer my data. Finally, after more than an hour, they gave me a newer model of an iPhone, which couldn't transfer my data because it was a different system.

This experience with Vodafone was a real embarrassment to the face of Australia. Vodafone's turnover is $211.9 million a year, and yet they can't provide spare phones in their stores to provide better customer service. Most of their workers are immigrants, and while I don't have a problem with that, it seems that they haven't been taught the Australian example of good customer service.

I urge the government and parliament to stand up for the rights of simple workers and bring back good customer service. When we purchase a product, we have the right to good service, especially when it's under warranty. It's time to fix this fault in the system and build a better Australia.
