VLCC — cheating the customers
My wife joined VLCC GYM, At Safdurjung Enclave, New Delhi. She paid Rs.10000 for the package. After 2 days of attending the classes, she was diagnosed with UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), and because of that she had to discontinue the course. Same was informed to the center.
As per doctor's advise she was on rest and had to take extra caution for the same so was advised not to continue the slimming programmed.
After she fully recovered and planned to join the center again, to her surprise she finds the center closed and a notice being put up there that the center has been shifted to another location. She tried contacting the center coordinator but no one was available to comment.
Now when we found the email address and phone numbers of the customer care department from the VLCC website, they said due to Sealing the center was closed and an option was given to customers, either to get the refunder shift to another center.
I opted out for refund. The concerned Lady told me to wait for some time and she'll sort the matter out.
However she came forwarded our case to customer care department who asked me to wait for some time, so that they can investigate into the stuff and do whatever is possible.
At last the customer care manager came up with this that the MONEY ONCE PAID WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
As the matter of the fact, the Company without any notice to the customer has moved the center and now are doing a Dictatorship and asking my wife to join another center. where as I Paid for the Safderjung Center because that was near to our residence, so it was very convenient for her to attend the classes.
Now I seek the help of the board to decide what next should I do.
