I gotta say, Homegrown Cannabis Co is legit. They got some of the best seeds around. I picked up a few Blue Dream seeds from them, and boy, let me tell you, it was a great experience.

I didn't really know what I was doing, but I figured I'd give it a try. I set up a tent in my bedroom with some LED lighting, and started growing. I did a thing called LST, which basically just means bending the plant over and tying it down so it grows sideways instead of up. I also topped it (cut off the top) when it got to around 3 feet tall. It looked kind of funny, but I figured it was worth a shot.

The plants ended up getting massive colas (that's the big bud at the top), and the smell was just insane. I mean, seriously, you need a good exhaust fan to get rid of that smell. I wish I had some pictures to show you, but I already got rid of them. Trust me though, this strain is good for both beginners and pros.

So, I recently ordered some seeds from Homegrown Cannabis Co (homegrowncannabisco.com). I grabbed 12 seeds in total, including four "Hellfire OG," four "Five Alive," and four "Northern Lights." Unfortunately, I did run into some issues with a few of the seeds.

First up, one of the "Hellfire OG" seeds just didn't play ball and didn't even pop for me. Then there was one of the "Northern Lights" seeds that was white and obviously had some kind of genetic defect. As for the "Five Alive," one didn't have any Cotyledon leaves, while another had three Cotyledon leaves. And now, here's where I'm a bit miffed: when I reached out to the great folks at Homegrown Cannabis Co, they replaced the "Hellfire OG" seed because it was dead. However, they said that the other three issues were down to my growing conditions. Now hold up, I know what I'm doing here. ALL the other seeds are doing just A-OK in those same conditions.

I'll admit it, I did take advantage of their guarantee. But clearly, their guarantee only applies to certain things. They definitely don't guarantee that all the seeds will be female, and their quality guarantee only goes as far as the Taproot. After that, it's all on the grower. That's fair enough, but I'd love to know what kind of growing conditions cause three Cotyledon leaves, wouldn't you?

All in all, I'm still a fan of Homegrown Cannabis Co. I just think it's important to be upfront about what their guarantees do and don't cover. So if you do decide to order from them, just make sure you know exactly what you're getting into. But hey, you never know, maybe you'll have better luck than I did.
