They were great
They were great. They even took a second day to secure better financing for us.
If you sell RVs, you should be able to do warranty work, not tell your customers to go take it somewhere else that don't or won't work on them
If you sell RVs, you should be able to do warranty work, not tell your customers to go take it somewhere else that don't or won't work on them because they can't get paid from the manufacturer. If you buy from there, this is what you get.
I completely agree with ***
I completely agree with ***. The exact same thing happened to us, except we were 2 1/2 hours away. They didn't try to get more money from us, but it's been 4 weeks and we still haven't received our tags. I called them today, and they said they would check on it and call me back. We all know that didn't happen.
I don't recommend Uwharrie
I don't recommend Uwharrie. I bought a new camper and it had problems with the hot water heater, stereo speakers, a warped door, no spare tire, and some other issues. To make a long story short, our camper has been at Uwharrie for 6 weeks to fix these problems, and still nothing! We live 4 hours away, so it's not easy to go there and see what's happening. Nobody knows what's going on, and I've asked 5 times to talk to the owner. Since we bought this new camper, Uwharrie has had it longer than we have! Unless you have a lot of free time and don't mind being given the runaround, paying for a camper you can't use, and throwing your money away to an ungrateful dealer, I wouldn't go there!
Zero stars, worst experience of my life
Zero stars, worst experience of my life. I've never been so angry and frustrated. I live 4 hours away from them, we agreed on a price and pickup time a week ahead. I left at 8 am and told them when I'd be there to have the paperwork and *** ready for the walk through because I had a long drive home. They tried to squeeze another $2000 out of me and didn't inspect the *** until I arrived. I found a few minor repairs and waited for them to complete them and the paperwork. I was there for 5 hours, so ready to leave that I didn't even notice they didn't do any repairs. They said they filled the gas up, but it was only half full. I got home at 11pm. The main problem was my tag, which should've arrived within a month. It took 13 weeks! I called several times to check on it, they tried to blame the ***. The *** said they held the tag because the dealership didn't pay the taxes. They avoided my calls and never returned any. Someone named *** once said the taxes were paid, so I wrote a review thinking my tag was on the way. It wasn't and *** later denied even talking to me. It took several more weeks because they seemed to be messing with me due to the review. I know this because ***, who processed the tag, let it slip while cussing me out for calling so much. I caught him lying multiple times. I finally got my tag after threatening legal action after 13 weeks. Worst experience ever.
In my 53 3/4 years on this planet, I've never had such a horrible experience with any business
In my 53 3/4 years on this planet, I've never had such a horrible experience with any business. First, I had my camper dropped off by the guy who brought it (not his fault). The owner, ***, told him to drop it off in the middle of the road and leave it. Twin Harbor, which is just up the road, had a sign saying that whoever owned the camper needed to move it. Secondly, I had a brand new 2022 camper with a dead battery and the salesperson, Cashina, wouldn't even respond to my text. With the dead battery, I couldn't even lower the tongue or use the levelers. I tried to find the power cord, but it was missing. I ended up spending $120 on one from Amazon. I had to go to a marine place down the road to get a new battery. I also couldn't find the sewer hose, and the title was missing too. I was really frustrated by now because the salesperson who promised me the world in text messages wouldn't even respond. As of today, she still hasn't responded. I went to the dealership and talked to the new salesperson, giving him a note (and my number) for the owner, ***, to call me. That never happened. I had no choice but to hire an attorney and try to go to small claims court. I hired *** and ***, PLLC, and they told me that all the text messages in the world wouldn't hold up in court. I gave them a certified check for $39,000, thinking it was as good as cash. I guess I'm out of luck. I can say one thing for sure, I will never do business with this organization again, and if you do, well, good luck. What a bunch of crooks. There must be a reason they went through 3 salespeople and a manager in just a week and a half. If there was a place for a negative star, they would definitely get it from me! Now they're calling me to get the title, but do you think I'm going to help them? Absolutely not, never ever. All I can say is buyer beware. You may want to shop around and compare! Merry Christmas.
