We had a great sales experience with Trailer Hitch RV and A. But when it got to the service part of the dealership, it ended up being like any other dealership we've bought from. We have had our trailer for 3 months and they have completely dropped the ball on getting our warranty work done. Grand Design approved the work days after our purchase and yet Trailer Hitch has yet to even order the parts. Aaron got the service manager Steve involved and he assured us he will get right on it. That has yet to happen. Neither of them are responding to my emails. Take your money elsewhere. But good luck finding a dealer in Southern California that cares about you once you hand over the payment on your new trailer. It is sad how these dealerships only care about your money and not their customer service.

UPDATE*** This is an update to my previous review. I am now giving them 4 stars. I am not giving them 5 only because it should have never gotten to the point it did. That being said, I finally got a response from Trailer Hitch RV. They went above and beyond to take care of the situation. They sent 2 techs down within the week to San Diego to repair all the factory warranty items we found on our initial walk through. They were able to get the parts from a trailer on their lot and bring them down. There are 2 small items still needing fixed that we thought were just adjustments but ended up needing parts. We will be getting them fixed in July when we pass through Nipomo. We are hopeful that there will not be any issues in the future and that we can rely on Trailer Hitch RV to fix them if there are.

DON'T BUY YOUR TRAILER FROM HERE! I bought a 2021 trailer in November from Aaron, their salesman. I'm still making monthly payments while they store my RV in their service department. The trailer has been in the service department for a third of the time, and they won't fix it properly. The slide-out doesn't work right and stops halfway, along with other electrical issues that came with it, including problems during our first outing. The first time I picked it up from the service department, they said it was all fixed, but when we went camping, it was still broken. They didn't fix anything. I dropped it off again and told them I was going camping in six weeks, so please have it fixed by then. When I came to pick it up at eight o'clock, the trailer wasn't ready because they couldn't find it. It showed up 1.5 hours later, dirty as if it had been stored in a sandstorm for six weeks, and they hadn't worked on it. The battery was completely dead, and I had to hand-crank the jack to get it on my truck. Unfortunately, the trailer was still broken. It's still in their service department with no priority. They sell you a trailer but don't support it. One guy in the service department summed it up perfectly, saying, "It's the white curb warranty; as soon as it hits the white curbs out front, the warranty is gone." The customer service and service department are terrible. Again, DON'T BUY YOUR TRAILER FROM HERE! Steve and Derek in the service department make false promises with no follow-through, and Aaron, the salesperson, didn't stand behind what he sold us. It's a $30,000 trailer sitting in their service department for over five months.

I saw their ad saying they deliver vehicles within 150 miles from their store. But when I asked about delivery, the folks at Trailer Hitch RV would rather give me my deposit back than fulfill their promise. I'm still waiting for my refund.

I'm really disappointed with the service we received at Trailer Hitch RV. We had a similar bad experience when we bought our camper 4 years ago. The warranty didn't cover most of the 12 issues we brought it in for, and dealing with Wil Anderson was a nightmare. After 2 weeks, I had to call for an update and told him I needed it back today. When I got it back, it was in even worse condition than when I brought it in. One of the drawers that used to sometimes come open on its own now won't stay shut at all, and on the way home, I noticed the front molding was flapping in the wind. We didn't even have problems with the molding before! When I asked about the screen door, they told me it wasn't covered under warranty and charged me $47.70! They claimed to have adjusted the sliders, but I'm still wondering why it's damaging our floors. They said they spent hours lubricating and adjusting the windows, but they still won't open. I know labor costs can add up, but I would feel better about paying if the job was done correctly. I would never recommend this business. I tried calling Wil, but he was too busy to take my call and hasn't responded to my email.
